Reversing Falls Restaurant/ Skywalk

My wife and myself like this place very much. Great food, nice atmosphere, amazing views. Best parmessan chicken in Saint John. We've been there a few times since opening. The anniversary 3 course dinner was very good and price well. We'll be back.

My wife and I came here for breakfast and were pleasantly surprised. The view is really nice and the quality of food was good as well. We will definitely be going back to try some other meals.

View was fantastic in the dining room of the reverse falls and city. Service was friendly as well. I was expecting more from the lobster entree, however the crab cakes and fries were great!

Service was awesome! The food was okay. I had the Blueberry Margarita, which was more of a slushie and had no flavor. My husband said the place needs a good clean. Under the buffet table, he could see dust bunnies, and it looked like things hadn't been cleaned in a while.

I had the steak which was on special. Ordered medium rare and it came well done. My mother got a grilled chicken sandwich when it came out it had chrispy chicken on it. And we were halfway through our meal befor we even got cutlery. For the price of everything (80 dollars including dessert) not impressed. They give you a 5 ounce glass of pop and chsrge you 3.50 for a refill. Although we got A decent veiw of the reversibg falls and a big lobster

Perfectly cooked mussels. We're visiting from Hamilton, ON & I'm not a big fan of seafood as it had always left a weird aftertaste. Having these mussels changed my mind about seafood. It was so good. The service staff was extremely attentive to our needs. Very well spoken
My partner said the view was amazing. They're very accommodating to my Guide Dog.

Great evening with a large group. The service was fast and the food was hot with a couple of exceptions. My husband said the steak was excellent. The view of the Reversing Falls is the best and make sure to go up to the rooftop to get a first class view

Service was good and the restaurant is beautifully decorated but the food fell flat and really that's why we're there. Nothing is well seasoned.

We had nachos that were good but a stingy on the salsa and sour cream.

My husband ordered the broiled salmon that has 2 options of glaze. He choose maple. It was so light we had to ask if they forgot to add it. The kitchen responded that yes but it is a veey light glaze. The veggies (broccoli and peas) were good and it came with a plain baked potato.

I ordered a steak sandwich with a jus dip. It was okay but not flavorful. Not seasoned at all. The poutine was very good though crispy fries and good gravy.
I also had a glass of wine.

If this meal was at a local pub I'd go easier on the rating but it was 125.00 for the meal so I feel like flavor is a huge factor.

I will say again though that service from the waiting staff was great!

The Skywalk has a great platform to view the rapids. Depending on the person, may be a bit expensive for something that you can view from many other points - the bridge, the lookout trails, the opposite side.

Service was fantastic and staff super friendly and attentive. The special was good value but just lacked distinctive flavour to get it to 5/5. In essence the food was average but location and service was 5/5

I had the veg burger was not good tasted like a patty that had been frozen but my mom enjoyed her meal

I’m giving it a three because I hope to try it again and it will be better. The meal was expensive and it was OK. I honestly never saw the waitress again after she brought us our food. We had to get the hostess to get our desserts and to get us our drinks and to get our bill. I had the tenderloin tips and the steak was tough and I wanted to tell the waitress, but she never came back. My meal was missing items and I never got that fixed. My husband had the fish and he said it was okay. The restaurant is very nice with a beautiful view and you get to go up to the look out.

Honestly it’s worth the hype! The sights are amazing! For obvious reasons I’ve never seen anything like it! Not to mention the food was soo delicious! I feel like you normally have to compromise one over the other but not in this case. Definitely would recommend

Nice folks. Under new management. Recommended if you are in area to see the reversing tide on the St John River while having a beer and poutine.

Very unpleasant experience, tasteless steak, bland food and you cannot even access the skywalk if dining here, not worth it!

It was the worst meal we had ever, it took over 50 minutes to get our meal, a lemon chicken that was 3 chicken strips small amount of rice instead of a chicken breast for 20 and my wife got a lobster roll that was very small for 26 i would ever go back

This is a very beautiful place! I truly loved visiting this area and restaurant. The view from both the walkway, balcony and from the restaurant is incredible! The food is tasty and the atmosphere is quaint. Staff was nice and proper. There's a long staircase that leads close to the falls, it's a bit of a work out so get ready for that. Stay safe out there people and be kind to one another. Life is short, enjoy these scenic views!

Nice to see this huge amount of water flowing through the bay. Cheap admission fee to access the skywalk view. You got a small history movie and a free cookie included in the price.

So it’s not very often that I go to Facebook to give a review about food and service from a restaurant. However, my wife and I along with a daughter, granddaughter and son in-law ate at the Reversing Falls restaurant Saturday night. The food was mediocre at best, the service was horrible. To top it off when my food arrived, I found a hard plastic bread tie, YES A BREAD BAG TIE.
I found this waiting for me when I removed the top of my hamburger bun. WOW. What could have happened if I had taken a bite before I noticed. Clearly someone thought they were being funny.
Clearly the Reversing Falls Rapids restaurant is not a great place to eat. We will not be returning. Whoever the the owner is, they may want to get some staff who care and are qualified to prepare and serve food.

So happy this place has been re-opened. Quite a landmark. Scenery was beautiful from every window. Was even better from the Skywalk! Even my disabled 89 year old uncle was able to get up there via an elevator. Cost to access the Skywalk was a bit steep. Food was delicious and well presented. Prices were steep, esp.for someone on a budget like I am. RFR is actually more like a bistro. In my group, my friend from NS was not impressed with the seafood chowder. Did not live up to expectation. Other friends were impressed with the wine selection. My husband was very disappointed because sandwiches are not served after 4 PM. We were there at 6 PM. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Chandelier Room is nice.

Tony and I were there for lunch today.well he chose the seafood platter and here it is.so much food. And awesome flavour and presentation. I guess I am not sure how to send the pic but it was unbelievable.the amount of food was enough for three people.

They have Coke and Pepsi. Food and service was good and the view of the reversing water was really neat!

The food was very expensive and poor quality. We had seafood casserole which only had two very small chunks of lobster, three shrimp and six of the smallest scallops I have ever seen. It came with choice of potatoes which I chose mashed.which were cool and had no butter on it (none on the table). To say the least it was bad. Another plate was avocado penne which had a special house sauce which was not great and slices of avocado not in the sauce (not what were expecting). The flat bread with BBQ sauce and chicken was very good either. The atmosphere was lovely and the skywalk was very good. Its a beautiful spot, they just need a better chef or menu

The food from the restaurant was delicious, the service was good too, the walkway on the other hand was quite ordinary. For some reason, I tough the walkway was made of glass only and I was deceived from the five little glass. It was a good experience none the less. I didn't see the reversing of the waterfall, I guess you have to go between high and low tide. Not at one or the other. Still glad I have gone.

Went for valentines day. The dishes were fantastic; food was perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the seafood was fresh. The waitstaff was very accommodating. Overall great experience.

Food was great, serves was not that great, kinda disappointing and took a little bit for drinks! Steak was cooked to perfection.

It's been awhile since I've had inspiration spark a desire to review a Saint John dish! Well the inspiration I have found, goes beyond just starters and main courses! It goes for friendly, and professional staffing as well! I wanted to not only comment about the exquisite meal I had enjoyed, but the efforts made on the staff members behalf, to see to it, that my meal, and overall, dinner, where to the best of it's potential! Their efforts were a huge success because the meal was 100% and staffs attitudes were held to a high and again, professional standard! Thank you very much to the kind hearts and colorful characters that make up the smiling, and friendly staff at that Rapids restaurant!

My Father and I had vegetarian dishes. They were delicious. Also, service was good and view of reversing falls was amazing!

The food has always been very good there from the first time we went and even up to now. The chef and the girls are 1st class!

Reversing Rapids are interesting if you happen to be passing thru at the right time. The restaurant is a great spot to wait with a great view. Otherwise there is a nice walk area over the bridge to get you closer. This can be a windy spot so be prepared even on sunny days.
