They treat fearful pets like they are misbehaved. Callous heavy handed Doctor. My Mother took her little dog in as he was not feeling well. Her 10 lb rescue dog was adopted from a rescue with a history of abuse. Given his sad history he is very afraid of new situations. Rather then be kind and compassionate before the vet even put his hands on the dog he was complaining about always having to deal with “ little dogs who needed training” and was clearly tired of dealing with them and projected his lack of care and patience onto my mothers little dog. Rather then sedate the dog as my mother suggested he traumatized both my mother and the dog by attempting to over power the dog and wrapped a towel around his neck and choked him. My mother was so disturbed. These old vets need to upgrade there skills. Fear is an emotion not a behaviour. This cold callous behaviour is unexpectable! These vets are not use to being questioned and some just need to retire if your unable to provide compassion and care to both owner and dog. Your skills and mannerism is unacceptable. We absolutely won’t be back. DO NOT LET ANYONE BULLY YOUR DOG. DOCTOR OR NOT IT IS UNEXCEPTABLE. Take your frustrations out somewhere else

Our kitty was hit by a car late at night. We called ahead for emergency service and were informed to leave immediately. They are about 2 hrs away from us, and they had a team waiting for us when we arrived. They have triage urgency and took Tanner in with no waiting. Their care was outstanding, explaining the diagnosis and treatment plan. They saved our cat's life! We would absolutely refer friends and family or anyone that requires immediate emergency service for your pets. Highly recommend.

The vet’s advice killed my hamster and then they refused to speak to me on multiple occasions to clear things up.

Without fail, the teams at Riverview Animal Hospital are the most supportive and caring surgical team I could have ever dreamed of having for my beloved 2 1/2yr old Border Collie who has gone through his fourth major surgery for bilateral hip dysplasia … We love the Riverview team!
24 August 2023 17:40
Very caring people work here. Dr. Beth Martin is wonderful. The staff are so nice. We lost our Bella years ago and will never forgot the kindness and help getting through things. Now our two 'babies' are well looked after as they move into senior lives. 5 STAR. Teddy & Ginger sending even more stars (sometimes)

The team at the Riverview Veterinary Hospital is incredible. Everyone from the intake team, vet technicians and veterinarians and friendly, kind and helpful. I’m so grateful for the amazing care they provided to my yellow lab Olive and for the kindness and support they provided me. Unfortunately we’ve had more than emergency and I love that they are available 24/7, and provide consistent, professional advice and care.

I have spent approximately $5000 since December 31,2022 on one of my cats. To date she is still in the exact same condition as that first visit almost 8 months ago. She has been seen by 3 different veterinarians since her first visit (1 has seen her twice.) The first vet that saw her was excellent but the other two were terrible, they did not even touch my cat, didn’t listen to her heart or lungs or even feel her body. One of them has seen my cat twice… both times she did not touch my cat but simply prescribed very expensive medication tests for which they don’t even show me the results and have not changed their course of treatment. One of the tests they literally stood my cat up and used duct tape to rip off skin cells from one of her wounds to “look at under the microscope” to which they saw nothing different which was obvious because my cat has had the exact same thing going on for 8 months now. I have been charged 4 different prices for the exact same medication and exact same dosage as my cat has not changed sizes. The LAST time (I say this with emphasis because it was the last time I’m going to be stupid enough to take my cat back in there), this vet gave my cat the same injection that 4 other vets have given her. With the other vets she never even flinched. With this one, my cat howled and jumped in pain.since my cat jumped she had to jab her a second time and again my cat howled in pain. I told her my cat had never even felt previous injections of the exact same medication and she said “oh it is because it’s cold. ” I have so much negative feeling about this and other things that have happened that I don’t even want to step foot in the place. I could give further details of negative experiences but will leave it here. I’m seriously traumatized by the whole thing. I am an experienced cat owner and cannot believe how my poor cat has been mistreated. I love my pets so much and have always said run whatever tests are needed. Perhaps this is my fault because I tell them that and they have taken full advantage of me. I actually feel physically ill from everything they have put my cat through to no improvement. Don’t be like me and continue going back and getting zero improvement. There are no words to completely explain how terrible they have made me feel and how my sweet cat has been so poorly treated.
23 July 2023 19:13
They don’t pick up their phone. I’ve called all day. Try somewhere else they don’t care obviously
12 July 2023 22:15
My wife took our dog in at 6, they told my wife to go home for shift change at 830.she went back in for 8 and sat in a room untill 10 30 untill I called from home and asked how long of a wait to get to see my dog, they said not busy to come on in. So i said thats funny why is my wife and dog been sitting there so long then. Funny how the vet was in there less 10 minutes later.

Merci a toutes!
06 July 2023 14:22
3rd time taking a cat here with issues ranging from massively swollen eye to a nasal and throat issue. REPEAT DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAT HERE DOGS GET PRIORITY 1ST NO MATTER THE ISSUE. We lost the 1st cat in December from a vet dosing him with to much pain killers and meds. He made it home and died 4h later. This cat might end up with permanent vision issues due to lack of TIMELY care. Worst vets on the east coast hand down.
28 June 2023 22:32
Our boy was showing signs of bloat, we rushed him to the Riverview Animal Hospital. From the front desk, the vet tech and the vet, they were fast and efficient. They saved Cooper’s life. His stomach had twisted and needed emergency surgery. Pre-op and post-op care was excellent. They gave the best care and called to provide updates often.
30 May 2023 14:38
The only vet that won't give you a face to face interaction, they hide behind their walls and let their secretary explain recovery care and medications. Make sure your wallet is fat before considering this place, a basic 10min quill removal will cost you over 1000$ and a cast for broken bone over 5000$. But at least they give you free water and coffee.
21 May 2023 10:17
Hey guys. Just what to say thank you for the confirming the appointment on short notice, the professional of the entire staff and especially Dr. Arsenault. Who provided a very detailed outline of the TPLO surgery for our 9 year old Labrador "Rascal" and most importantly as with all animal lovers conveyed his message with such kindness, assurity and confidence our concerns were abated. The surgery went extremely well and our boy is just into his 3 week of a 12 week recovery. We could not be happier!
19 April 2023 15:48
I brought my cat Meatball in for an acute illness. The person I spoke to on the phone was very calm and reassuring. The staff who saw Meatball were caring and communicated with me throughout our visit. Dr. Mercier explained everything clearly, offered options and her opinion which I much appreciated. The price was very reasonable. Thank you for your service of providing excellent emergency care to our pets in times of need:)
07 April 2023 14:12
Riverview animal hospital recently performed a tplo surgery on my baby girl. They were kind, caring and willing to update me the 1 million times I called to check on her. They were thorough with instruction and medication. I felt very well supported and was confident to leave my baby in their hands.
30 March 2023 17:20
Please, If you have an emergency concerning your precious animals, remember that animal hospitals need to adhere to the same procedures as human hospitals. Reception, triage, care. Be patient, ask clear concise questions as to what to expect and wait, they will be with you as soon as they can. Emergency facilities are extremely busy and will always priorities accordingly.
03 March 2023 17:57
Our 7 month old female Rottie pup had been struggling with lameness for 8 weeks.we asked for a referral to an orthopedic Vet surgeon. Dr. Arsenault was amazing.very kind, quick to identify some previously undiagnosed issues and after xrays and CT scan, we brought our pup home to rest.now its our turn to do our part by playing 'prison guard' for 2-3 weeks until her leg heals.can't thank the staff and Dr A enough. David McKinstry, Oak Bay, NB
23 February 2023 17:48
We wish to thank everyone involved with dealing with our dog’s, Zack, final moments. It was a difficult time but they made both our dog and me as comfortable as possible. They did everything to ease our pain. My wife and I are forever thankful
05 February 2023 5:46
Always professional, knowledgeable, genuinely care about the animals. Highly recommend. The only place we bring our dog.
02 February 2023 0:52
Dr. McLaughlin was absolutely amazing and the staff was incredible. Having to rush your furbaby to the animal hospital is always a terrifying experience but the front desk, vet techs and vet made me feel like my pup was being taken care of the same way I would if I could. We now have our little Lily home and I am so incredibly thankful for all of the Riverview Animal Hospital staff who took such great care of my baby.
30 January 2023 15:28
Excellent service. Friendly staff.
During stressful times with our animals the staff made the experience doable. Thank you.
28 January 2023 3:21
Thank you so much to all the staff at Riverview Animal Hospital! Your expertise is truly appreciated. I feel very fortunate to have 24hr veterinary care available
26 January 2023 22:05
These folks are fantastic. They keep in constant communication about your pet, very clearly love the animals that come in, and are clear and gentle in delivering less than great news. I had to bring my cat in to be hospitalized, and they worked with my regular vet to keep her comfortable and keep her safe. The techs are fantastic, the vets I interacted with were outstanding, and I cannot recommend them enough.
02 January 2023 4:42
My dog was seen on Christmas Eve in no time, and the staff were splendid all the way around.

Merry Christmas to the whole team, and many thanks for taking care of us!

Unprofessional front staff who don't seem to know what's going on is main reason for poor review. Genuinely feel sorry for the seemingly one doctor they have on each shift for every five triage nurses.

First visit wasn't an issue, waited for a few hours (expected as it was emergency) doctor was able to help us a lot then asked us to return in two weeks for a checkup. Advised us to come during the day as emergency wait is better.

Come to our second visit today, the front desk staff member seemed nice enough and let us know the doctor we saw wasn't in until this evening, but we could come for 8: 30 tonight and see him for an appointment.

So the third visit that evening, we checked in with the staff member, I did a double take back and said "This is the appointment with [mispronounced doctors name]" to which she replied "Yep. 8: 30 with [Corrected doctors name]. " This was just before 8: 20 so she wasn't simply repeating time.we waited in the waiting room for an hour, with a stressed cat, her stress-induced medical issues, and multiple large dogs barking. (Can't do a whole lot about that though) We finally went to front desk upset as now people who were showing up after us were being brought back with our doctor. (Now with emergency we understand how triage lines work but were still lead to believe we had an appointment) I started talking to one front desk employee when another interjected, simply repeating "We don't do appointments" as I continued to try and explain the situation we were in. I even flagged over the other employee who checked us in, who confirmed what she said to me before the second employee could jump in again "There's no appointments here. "

It was clearly a big misunderstanding with some outdated information being given to us, but unfortunately just being talked down to over and over really doesn't make us ever wanna come back. (Though unfortunately it is the only emergency vets anywhere near us.)

Maybe staff back-end better and have consistent information for patients.

Brought my cat because of emergency situation. I did not wait as long as I expected. All the staff were involved and friendly.

I live in Northern New Brunswick and last night at 8: 30 my dog met a porcupine and they didn’t make friends… well it was hard to swallow there is only 1 after hour emergency vet In this gorgeous province, we loaded up and drove 2.5 hrs south to The riverview animal hospital they were amazing and had Bolt back to be examined immediately within 5 min we had a estimate of what it was gonna cost and a little over 2 hours later Bolt came out to greet us. I will be forever grateful for the amazing work and the fact that Christine Roussel, DVM even gave us a bit of a break on the charges for removing quills by 4 am we weee back home and Bolt is resting comfortably thanks so much Everyone there in the early morning hours of September 9 2022
20 September 2022 9:42
While travelling we needed assistance for our pet. Riverview was amazing! Professional staff from front end to back…would definitely recommend!
Thank you for your care ️
16 September 2022 7:35
Have been sitting here with my cat in a kennel for almost 8 hours. If you can’t see the animals in a reasonable time you should tell patients so they can make the decision to stay and wait or not. What started as an oozing eye infection is now accompanied with an extremely stressed cat. Not cool
15 September 2022 16:23
My dog got hit by a car. They did they best they could. So grateful they are open 24hrs. Rip my angel
05 September 2022 19:20
I have 2 small dogs and brought one there 2 weeks ago! The staff was very friendly and helpful even though it was crazy busy! I finally got answers that I needed as scooter is turning 13 soon and his health issues are starting show! They were awesome with him! My Sammi is 14 and started showing same symptoms as scooter had to bring her 3 times to be seen but that’s ok because I saw that some were sicker than she was and understood the situation! Frustrating yes but can’t be helped so when she was finally seen the vet was not convinced that she needed test done and wanted to try antibiotics first to see if it would help her issue and I trusted her judgment! She was so awesome with both my babies and she even rechecked my scooter while there (no charge) sooooo appreciated that and too me it showed a lot that she loved and cares for her job! All staff was awesome! Regardless of how expensive it is they did there job and I’m thankful ️

This animal hospital went above and beyond with our shepherd in his last days. Extremely professional and courteous during a horrible time for our family. Thank you to everyone involved.
14 August 2022 11:14
They saved my dog life, I’m truly thankful. The medical staff and well as the front line staff were truly marvellous. I cannot say enough good things. Thanks you all for your dedication

We have been dealing with this place for the past few years & have spent thousands of dollars on our dogs. We deal mostly with Dr McLaughlin & she is the best for the last 2 days we have been trying to get in because one of our dogs is in heat & is bleeding a lot went over on Monday & they told us a minimum of a 5 hour wait so we decided to leave knowing Dr McLaughlin is working the following day we called back again last night to see if we could get in to see Dr McLaughlin & we were told no. The girl on the phone had an attitude & told us we could not see Dr McLaughlin for at least a week or so. Considering we have supported this place for years, spent thousands of dollars. Just wondering if this is how you treat your regulars.
11 January 2022 7:37
Horrible. We are always ignored for several hours even though we came all the way from shediac because our vet was closed. No one sits with an animal for 7 hours without the situation being serious. People come and people go but we sit and be ignored until we finally leave. That's the strategy at this animal hospital when they don't want to bother with your animal. It's a shame and rediculous. No need of it.
09 January 2022 4:41
I would like to thank you guy's for your help and kind words when my dog suddenly passed away while traveling through
05 December 2021 3:27
I have been going here for over 10 years and I love my vet. Dr Sarah Moskovits is truly the best. She is really understanding and takes the time to explain things to me. All the staff are very friendly and helpful.
Thank you ️
03 December 2021 20:19
Excellent care of our pets. They always take the time to explain and review so we understand conditions and treatment so we can make the best possible choices for our fur babies. From initial phone calls to the last appointment, all staff members are always kind, friendly, helpful and caring.

This vet is so frustrating. I've been here multiple times this year and spent over $4000 on mostly unnecessary medications and charges. It seems there always giving the animals shots and medications without reason. I feel like a lot of people here get taken advantage of because we trust blindly and want to keep our pets healthy, when all they want is your money. I haven't been here and not waited 2-10 hours. Whether it was an actual appointment or triage. The vet techs and front desk can't communicate effectively. They always seem confused and rarely have answers. I realize their busy but a better system needs to be put in place. It shouldn't be the customers responsibility to harrass the staff after spending a entire day there, just to get attitude, when your pet is sick and stuck in a cage. Especially when the question is simple. I'm unsure if the vets can even be trusted because the triage and follow up appointment vet contradict each other. For sure going else where for a different opinion. I can't believe I've wasted so much time and money here, I'll never be back and make sure everyone knows it should only be used as a last resort. My poor pet has been through enough

Last week, I braught my new Beagle puppy in for her first visit at this vet, on Wensday for her 12 weeks needles. They also gave her a flea treatment and de wormer, which I gave her oraly the next day. When they gave her the vaccine, the vet tech, gave her some cheese in a bottle to keep her occupied. The vet almost right away said you probably shouldn't have given that to her. She then looked at me, and said she may get diarrhea. The next day, the Diarrhea began. 3 or 4 times a day, so I called and they said to just keep an eye on her. By Monday it was pure liquid diarrhea. We called the vet, who said to bring her in immediately and that there would be no exam fee. After hours, of finding out absolutely nothing, they said it was just a reaction to a vaccine, or that cheese that the tech gave her. They sent her home with some medications, and I received a bill. Not only did they charge me 85$ for a exam fee, but also an emergency 50$ fee on top of that! After telling me there would be no exam fees. I am not impressed. We braught up the fact that the other vets had given her that cheese bottle spray, and they said that's normal for them to do it. My question is if it's normal, why did the Vet immediately tell the vet tech she should not have done this. 318$ later, because of a reaction to something they most likely caused, and then to lie about the 135$ exam fee, they will never get another penny for me. On top of everything,   it was 430 in the afternoon, why am I being charged an emergency fee in the middle of the day? Nice people, but no ethics. All of that to find out absolutely nothing. I conatcted them Tuesday, a d have been waiting ever since for a manager to call back. Clearly great customer service. Save yourself some money and chose a different vet, who won't charge you for things they said they wouldn't.
11 November 2021 17:04
We were desperate to see someone after getting the run around from Grey Cove and never seeing a vet there ever. Appointments are so far in the future that its just stupid to wait to get help to see your ill dog/cat.

Our dog was looked at and eye issue resolved and we were seen the same day I called. These people are wonderful and truly love your pets. Not like other vets that are just in it for the $$$. So sad

I will never take my dogs to anyone else ever. Lovely place and clean and a happy atmosphere.
Vet was lovely. We are hooked.

Our 7 year old dog, Keisha, broke her leg on September 5 and was treated and sent home September 9 with her leg in a cast and pain medication for a week. Her recall visit was scheduled for 2 weeks. At about 10 days we noticed a smell. Long story made short, we now have a 3 legged dog. Keisha developed pressure sores and an infection. Tuesday she had her leg amputated and she came home yesterday (29th). When we were discharged (after paying her bill in full) we were given medications and instructions for home care. At that time I told Kirsten that I would not wait 10 days for a recheck.had Dr. Arsenault seen her at 7 days, Keisha would still have a leg. I know Dr. Arsenault feels bad, but I am not happy with what happened. Today they called to see how she is doing and I wanted to make an appointment for 1 week. I got a snippy answer that 2 weeks is the normal wait time and she would not be seen before 2 weeks. Very unsatisfied with this.

In contrast, COVERDALE VET, called yesterday to see how the surgery went and on Monday, prior to her surgery, they did an assessment of her leg with x-rays and rebandanged her leg under sedation, and I was shown graphic and horrendous pictures of what she was suffering with. They did this FREE OF CHARGE, AND SAID THEY WOULD SEE KEISHA ANYTIME. Had we been able to afford their price for the amputation, (We were given a $1500. Credit) would never had brought Keisha to Riverview Animal Hospital. We have had a horrible month and have had what was preventable and drastic treatment (AN AMPUTATION) for a broken leg. I am sorry Dr. Arsenault, your clinic let you down. I would hope Keisha's injury would serve as a teaching opportunity of the importance of seeing patients sooner rather than too late.
10 October 2021 17:19
My Cat was under the weather and my usual vet was booked solid, even emergency. I took my cat, Gary, to the Riverview Animal Hospital. Thankfully I did! The staff were so friendly with Gary, taking extra care of him. Turns out he had a UTI and Dr. Katie was great! Gary liked her so much, we are switching vet's from my usual to Dr. Katie. Thank you, Riverview Animal Hospital, Gary is feeling much better and I have you all to thank.
21 September 2021 1:35
The worst service we have ever had.called ahead and waited well over 6 hours to get service with a sick dog on our lap the whole time. I would never recommend this place to anyone.
10 September 2021 9:03
So disgusted by the money grubbing owners of this vet clinic. Charging clients an emergency fee during business hours to be seen right away for an injured animal. The fact that this clinic already charges more than anyone else in the city because they are an emergency animal hospital is bad enough but than they charge an emergency fee on top of the already inflated vet visit (again during regular business hours). Will never take any of my animals there again for regular visits. All they care about is money, not the animals. Yes I understand they are a business and need to make money but the insane amount they force people to pay during emotional and frantic moments is unethical, predatory and downright inhuman.
08 September 2021 19:49
Have been to this clinic without a single good experience.poor customer service and veys that seem more interested in profit then helping animals.
03 September 2021 22:44
I went in today and everything was fine. Customer service was good, comfortable waiting area etc… but absolutely scorching hot. For such a large building, treating animals suffering with injuries/illness … you’d think they’d have AC. By the time I left, it was 29°c. My dog was whining in pain and discomfort already and this made it 10x worse. Not to mention I was drenched in sweat and have asthma. Disappointed. I will not be returning or recommending this place to anyone.
30 August 2021 4:02
My dog and I were in a terrible MVA. He had a broken arm and was quite shocky when we arrived. The receptionists were kind and loving, the Vetrinarian technicians amazing, the DVM was clear, calm and encouraging. The nurses were caring and loving, orthopaedic surgeon, Dr. Dwan was kind, highly skilled and did incredible work, and the DMV, Dr. MacLaughlin who followed up with another issue was superb. Nurse Jackie helped me stay calm on surgery day. Both my dog and I love the entire team. I’m sorry I don’t have everyone’s names, I was so stressed worry about my boy. But we love you all.

They are more expensive than other places but WORTH EVERY PENNY!

I live three hours away and have switched my dog to be their regular patient. It’s worth it. Proper diagnoses first time and nothing unnecessary done.

The staff will spoil your animal companion with love and attention in a way you’ve never experienced at any other clinic.

My dog Sampson loves it there so much it took me 10 minutes to convince him to get in the vehicle to leave.

Thank you to ALL the team that makes this happen! You all ROCK!
17 August 2021 6:03
I took my sick hamster here and was prescribed medicine. After the second dose of medicine my pet died. I called the animal hospital to explain my situation and was ignored not once, but three times. After my second one-star review and fourth call to the animal hospital, I was able to talk to someone about my dead pet. They didn’t want to admit negligence and suggested my hamster died of old age or the existing illness. The vet had warned me the medicine may not be effective but failed to mention the medicine would kill my hamster within an hour. The staff I spoke to on the phone assured me three separate times that the vet would get back to me but she never did, so I am left without answers and an empty hamster cage. I deeply regret taking my small pet to this animal hospital.
13 August 2021 1:25
Our 8 lb Morkie ate mouse poison and we did not know for 12 hours. I rushed her to Riverview Animal hospital and the minute I got there a Vet Tech took her from me and within seconds made her throw up and started the process to save her life. Dr. Christine was outstanding and was so nice to me thru it all. We were sent home with a month long antidote and a follow up appointment and to top off the great service, I received a call from the Hospital a day after to be sure things were going well. Just hearing her caring voice on the phone was incredible. We moved here 1 year ago and we purposely moved to Riverview to be near this hospital as we already had a Sharpei with health issues that when they arise are urgent. We are so lucky to have this wonderful facility in Riverview! I highly recommend Riverview Animal Hospital
09 August 2021 18:37
It was a pretty long wait but it WAS a Saturday and they cover a lot of the other clinics. The triage nurse and the doctor were great: very caring with my female cat and were able to answer my many detailed questions. All in all - very pleased with them. The cost was also not terrible which always helps.
08 August 2021 10:41
Very disappointed. A lack in diagnosis and wrong information. Rest and medication is all they had right this time. Said my dog must have injured a disc in his spine and I should sling him around his shoulder. 4 days later and a second opinion, he has damaged the nerves in his shoulder. Found with a basic neurological exam using hands only. So the misdiagnosed injury and advise to sling my dog possibly made things worse. I am so discouraged as a simple thorough neurological exam is all that was needed and not a 2500 dollar CT scan as my option for diagnosis and possible 5000 dollar surgery as treatment. Truth be told there is no treatment for his injury other than rest. He may regain some, all, or none of the mobility lost in his right front leg. We as humans have similar nerve junctions in our shoulders and guess what!? When we we tear or damage it bad enough there is no fix you lose use of that arm in severe cases. I get Riverview is a complete hospital and emergency center. They have lots of equipment and can offer care to animals others cannot. I feel that sometimes the staff loses themselves in all that ability and equipment the center can offer and overlook the basics.
01 August 2021 22:31
Our dog was run over, 1.5 hour drive, 3 hour wait til 1 in the morning, and than they tell us they can't do anything for to help our dog and they charged us $300 for nothing, worst vet ever
26 July 2021 3:34
My furbaby Tigger became ill on June 18th. He had diarrhea and there was a tiny amount of blood. I called Vetcare and they told me to monitor him for the weekend. He seemed fine until I noticed a decreased appetite, passing gas, and more diarrhea on June 25th. Vetcare advised us to take him to the Emergency Animal Hospital in Riverview. We went on Monday, June 28th because we noticed Tigger's appetite was decreasing quickly. We had to wait to get him triaged. The place was very busy and we ended up sitting there for 5 hours. Poor Tigger was stuck in his carrier with no food, water, or litter box. Finally we saw Dr. Tamara and she took Tigger away to examine. All of his vitals were good. His organs were also fine and there was nothing abnormal about his abdomen. She was concerned about his blood work. It was showing high white cell count and anemia. Well ya, he hasn't eaten much at all! She wanted to do an ultrasound and we declined. I asked her to give him something to ease his stomach so he would eat. The vet would not come out and face us, instead she called me on my cell in the waiting area! She gave Tigger an injection of pain killer (quite a high dose), vitamin B12, and 2 very powerful antibiotics. I later researched these and they are known to kill your animal in high doses. We took Tigger home and he was purring, but completely stoned. He still would not eat and now I had to shove 2 high doses of antibiotics into his already sore tummy. My gut told me to stop the meds and have him re-examined. We returned on July 1st and had to go through triage again! Dr. Nelson suspected fluid in his abdomen and wanted to do an ultrasound. We said okay and the results showed one of 2 things: 1. Cancer or 2. A feline coronavirus. She wasn't sure. She discussed the poor prognosis and suggested steroids, but it would most likely not help. Why weren't we told this in the first place. Tigger was put to sleep to stop his suffering and I feel so guilty and I still don't know what was wrong with him. One thousand dollars and no cat to hold. There is something wrong with this picture! If the first vet thought there was no hope, she should have told us face to face. I am very upset with this service and feel helpless. I feel I hurt my sweet Tigger by taking him to this animal hospital.

My experience today was absolutely terrible. After 6 hours of waiting with the dog who couldn’t walk, I had to leave their emergency department. Two ladies at the front desk didn’t pay attention at clients at all. One of them was making a personal call for about 15 minutes and laughed loudly among clients with sick pets. I was told there was no chance to book an appointment for three weeks, so for me it meant no chance to see a doctor for me partially paralyzed dog. The increased demand for your services is not an excuse. It is the reason to manage your clinic better. You have best doctors in Moncton, but unable to organize your service properly.

I would highly recommend Riverview animal hospital. Dr. McLaughlin was amazing with my cat, Oliver. All of the staff were caring, compassionate and knowledgeable. I was amazed with the care he received.

I just wanted to share my experience with the Riverview Animal Hospital. I had to bring my very old cat (19 years old) on Tuesday evening because she wasn't feeling too good. Everybody, from the admin staff, technician and veterinarian were super nice, friendly and knowledgeable. They even called back today to make sure she was doing ok. Great customer service!

Very friendly staff; gave me great detailed information about my dog's condition and did a follow-up a couple of week later. Thank you!

This is the animal hospital were they think saying "sorry" cuts mistakes which could have ended your animal's life.

This is a scary place to leave your animal. Don't do it. The staff doesn't communicate with each other at all. SEVERAL times I told them not to leave clay litter in my cat's section bc she could eat it & cause intestinal obstruction. Several times I told them that she's on prescription food (prescribed by her primary vet) for them to feed her whatever they liked. It took days of me having to micro manage them from afar to get them to listen to me. They will do whatever they feel like with your animal.

I gave them these directions before my cat was to be there and while she was there. I handed the food TO THE VET TECH & explained it to her for them for 2.5 days to feed her food that could cause her pancreatitis (the reason for her being on the special diet).

They're in bed with SPCA. The Riverview staff lie incredibly. They're condescending. They care about their image and not about your animal. They took risks with our cat.

I gave them very simple instructions: No clay & here's her food. The only thing I didn't do was feed her myself at the hospital. I gave them the respect of paying $1897.00 upfront for them to treat my cat & me this way. It was such a stressful weekend for my family having to manage them from afar.

My cat now has a high fPLI - as I said would happen with not feeding her her prescribed diet.

Abby has been sick because of Riverview's carelessness. Because Riverview fed Abby the wrong food - she's been feeling ill, in pancreatic flare.

As reply to Riverview's reply:

Feeding her what you felt like feeding her instead of her food I HANDED YOU and told you about SEVERAL TIMES, causing her pain and illness due to the pancreatic flare from being off her diet doesn't meet expectations. Are you out of your minds?
