On of our guest has a seafood allergy. Waitress was not gonna let us eat from the prefix menu because of this. After some words she talked to the chief and let her order off the regular menu and let us enjoy our seafood. We enjoyed all the delicious food they served. Rooms were comphy.staff was great

Super friendly staff, clean rooms, but the walls are thin, so can be a bit noisy when people are walking around, but there are quiet times, so not bad at all once it's lights out time.

The setting is quite amazing. The staff is top tier, very professional, attentive, and friendly. I can't say enough about the food! Excellent wine list, very good and creative cocktails. The desserts are a must. Cannot recommend this page enough.

My partner and I booked Rossmount's "signature experience" and added an extra night for a total of two nights. First, let me say the inn itself is very cosy with an interesting history and a gorgeous setting. I surely with the weather had been better (it is just early September) because the pool area looked so lovely and inviting. We'll have to return next summer to experience a "pool day" with our stay.
Our 7 course chef's choice tasting menu was really terrific. Truly world class. There's no point in running down the courses here as the menu is changed frequently based on seasonal and wild products. Service was impeccable and we noted everyone pitching in everywhere.the bar, the front desk, the dining room. Our primary server, Shannon was amazing with answers to all our questions and perfect descriptions of each of our dishes.
I have one minor criticism of one dish. We had a spicy Thai tomato soup with an heirloom tomato salad on the side, but the plate was just weird, with a long stemmed soup bowl on one end of a teardrop shaped plate and the salad on the other end, forcing one to sort of duck under the soup bowl in order to consume the salad. I just thought it was novel with no purpose.
Our room was a king room overlooking the pool. It was small. The bathroom was tiny. There were but 5 hangers in the alcove of the closet. The big four poster bed was lumpy at best but the room was clean and had everything you might need. While the 4 poster is a lovely piece of furniture, you have a post in your way regardless of how you wish to watch the television.
Breakfast was included both mornings but I have to say, pun intended, that the difference between dinner and breakfast was night and day. There seemed to be just one rather harried server who was pretty slow to provide coffee and never once removed a dish from our table. We had a lovely Swiss muesli with fresh berries followed by their "full breakfast". I ordered my two eggs sunny side up, they came over easy. We had to ask twice for the toast which was cold. The rest of the breakfast was two overly crisp pieces of bacon and a tiny handful of potato slices which had been sautéed, not fried. This they called hash browns. It might have been nice to have had an actual serving of actual home fried potatoes and perhaps some sausage or ham. The meal was something you'd find at a down market B&B and was very disappointing. We didn't bother with breakfast on the second morning despite it being included.
We will venture back no doubt, as we enjoyed the overall experience and especially the dinner, which was so exquisitely prepared.

My husband and I enjoyed our first visit to Rossmount Inn for dinner. Excellent service and delicious food. I had the pork tenderloin and he had the bluefin tuna. Both were presented beautifully and cooked to perfection. Highly recommended! Looking forward to our next visit!

Outstanding dinner. Truly amazing. If you can get reservations - go for it! The amuse bouche was a halibut ceviche (perfectly balanced acidity to spice). Next I had the blue mussel veloute (soup in July, you ask? Yes - this was the highlight of my dinner) it was a work of art, with saffron threads and fresh herbs like tarragon. So silky smooth. I had the baked halibut with a bacon dust on top with zoodles beneath. Oh so good. Lastly, I could not resist the basil creme brulee (and icewine) - the sugar crackle was perfection, and the silky smooth basil creme - wow. I will remember this dinner for a long time! Bravo!

We have been to the Rossmount on several occasions and always been delighted. Tonight for our 30th wedding anniversary we indulged in the 7 course tasting menu. Words are not adequate. The subtleties of tastes were spot on. What a combination of flavours. The tuna tartare was a triumph, probably my favorite, but then the surf and turf. Dear gracious. It was all magical. In New Brunswick! Thank you for being here!

Rossmount inn is a beautiful old historic inn with excellent gourmet meals. The property is a couple of miles out of town. Parking lot is gravel but plenty spacious. The grounds have a lovely yard for wandering among the flowers and a hiking trail up a small mountain to the rear. The swimming pool was open but too cold to seriously consider swimming. Since it's an old mansion, there is no elevator and floors are squeaky.
We had the summer getaway package which included 2nights, 2 breakfasts, and 1 dinner.

Had an incredible stay and dinner at the Rossmount Inn. The environment is wonderfully decorated and attended to, the staff were all so calm and pleasant, and the FOOD WAS INCREDIBLE. One of the most fresh, intricate and well thought out menus I’ve seen in awhile. Had an extremely relaxing and delicious time staying here.

Food was so good! Portions were larger than expected and we were all full before dessert. Definitely book in advance as we called the morning of and could only get a spot for 4 at 9pm.

The Rossmount is an absolute must have experience. I would consider it one of the best if not the best dining and stay experience in Atlantic Canada. From garden to table done right! You will not be disappointed!

Simply the bestThe dining experience is exceptional from start to finish. The presentation of the food is in a category all on its’ own. Everything was delicious and impeccably served (thank you Jody!). This is a well trained team. Can’t wait to go again

5 star everything! Some of the best food we have both ever had! The salad n the scallop ceviche were both like a work of art n so yummy. Haddock was excellent while the Halibut was out of this world! Desert was rich n flavorful. Great table in the quant yet sophisticated old bar at the window. Even saw humming birds at the porch feeder. Drinks/wine and the service was as good as the food. Susan bartender/waitress was busy when we got there but worked the room like a pro. Hard to get reservations but don’t miss this place!

Ok I love it here. I go multiple times a year. The food's wonderful and I'd eat it every day if I could. Having said that, my most recent trip my food, steak included, came out cold. Freezing cold. I'm talking COLD. Anyway, they microwaved it to fix it and seven or eight minutes after everyone got their food I finally got mine. My steak went from medium rare to medium well and I still paid full price. Kind of tacky. Not what I expected. Not what i ordered. Not the standard I expect. Kinda disappointing.
