If you're looking to get a "taste of St. John, " you'd better visit the City Market. This covered market is a short walk from King's Square, and filled with an impressive variety of food, art, clothing, and vendors. You're certain to find a unique souvenir here, and enjoy a taste of everything from fresh fruit to fresh fish. Both Lebanese and Japanese cuisine can be savored here.
There are bathrooms for your convenience. The walkways can be a bit narrow during crowded times, but the hustle-and-bustle adds a excitement and energy to the experience. Don't miss it when you visit St. John!
Everything about food is here. I'm 80% sure that it's cheaper to buy fruits and veggies here. Many food outlets too like Korean and Japanese dishes are available for take away.
Market is ok, but we thought with all the hype it would have been bigger. We got a snack at the Japanese eatery, which was not too bad. The little wine place was pretty good. It had a little faux fireplace and cozy couches.
Lots of friendly options and staff, amazing how many different food is available and low cost. Have a look around and you may find something you fall in love with.
All the shops/markets were closed when we went through. As well as the restaurant that is located inside the market. I wouldn't recommend going between 2 and 4.
I just grabbed a kombucha. I ate before coming here which was my bad.everything looked delicious but I just browsed the merchandise. Although I wish there wasn't a need for the Murdered and Missing Indigenous Women board, I think it's very helpful and more places should have one.
Lots of souvenirs and some interesting bric-a-brac. Also, some delicious foods. The vendors here are super nice and very knowledgeable about the area. When in doubt, ask a local.
