Smitty's Restaurant & Lounge - Sussex

I Went for the first time ever for Wednesday wing night. It was awesome, I was greeted with a smile, served with aplomb, and the wings were amazing. I loved the variety of wings they had, the flavours, the size of the wings. At 0.89/wing, I ordered to bring some home. Needless to say that I'll be going back!

We had an excellent wedding rehearsal dinner in the back room. The food was excellent and the staff was very friendly. I've been here before and will be back again. They deliver as well, and that has proven to be an issue with my bank account. Thanks for the awesome food.

Spent 75$ today for myself and my 2 children to eat. Cost me 1.99 to upgrade their kid meal poutines and 3.99 to upgrade mine so naturally I expected a larger portion than my children but i was wrong. THe poutines nothing more than bowls of gravy with like 10 fries and 3 peices of cheese
The meat on my philly cheastea sandwich was the driest blandest meat ive ever eaten and if not for the au jus sauce i wouldnt have been able to eat it. Not to mention how small it was. We were done within 3 minutes. Im not one to complain but the bad quality and high price for small portions was consistent. Also, i was charged 3.09$ for my sons soft drink that was supposed to come with his kids meal. The server cut us off everytime we spoke to tell us her own stuff and was very annoying to be quite honest. She also 180 changed her tune when we were leaving without tipping (the food and service did not merit a tip imo) and started being short with my daughter. The service is here not very good they were refusing to take certain toppings off of the nachos which you would think they would like onions Halpenos what if there were allergies their wasn’t but it turned out that they could which I was thankful for but she didn’t apologize about that. The lady at the table was starring and watching me which was inappropriate I would not say I’m ever happy at this location place and I would say never good experiences and we did not have very good memories here

Hubby and I ate there last evening.we had one of their tester menu items.
The fried chickenw/mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables were top notch!
Everything tasted soooooo good!
Had to grab a piece of their chocolate cakew/boiled frosting to finish it off!
Wonderful atmosphere.fantastic service.
Definitely will be going back!

Went for breakfast. The server was excellent, the food was great, very clean. I would recommend Smitty's in Sussex anytime.

Food quality isn’t so great here. Maybe it was a one off, but not the quality I was expecting.

The food is good quality and fair prices. But the service is always top notch at this place. We literally drive from Moncton every so often for a treat. Their breakfast is spot on and worth the drive.

Nice employees, but food is not special. I had a Ukrainian skillet, couldn't finish it, very dry and rubbery perogies. Unfortunately, roast beef was not the best either. Not the best food experience.

Great spot for breakfast. Had the Eggs Benedict last weekend and it was good - a little too much sauce, which drowns out the flavors of the egg and bacon but it was still good nonetheless.

Really enjoyed Smitty’s. Food was good, drinks were good, and the atmosphere was exactly how you wanted it! Perfect little family restaurant. Has both a restaurant and a bar side. I would highly recommend.

I never leave reviews but my husband and I ate here for breakfast and the quality, taste, and service was amazing! Would definitely recommend. Good prices and large portion sizes too!

Love this place, been coming here since I was a child. Now I get to bring my children. Great potion of artisan salad and beef dip too!

The younger gal working at the hostess stand when we came in was so very kind. She let us place a to go order (no patio for the dog) and even got us waters to go. Was glad to find something for the kids that wasn’t fried. We enjoyed the turkey dinner and steak dinner. It was packed to go perfectly. The seasonal veggies were good. Older looking but very clean inside. Would stop again. Currently, kids under 10 eat free on Mondays (and maybe Tuesdays too…?)

This is the 3rd restaurant ive tryed a burger in sussex. And its the best buger ive had here. For someone who would like very cooked maybe not. But mine was so moist, well done but not to much. I will be comming back!

Great homecooked food, nice family atmosphere. Bill was a little slow coming but otherwise everything was good, we'll be back when we're in the area.
