Sobeys Saint John West

I live east but sobyes on west side is not always stocked with what we are looking for so over west we go to shop there and usually find it.we shop at different places around town looking for the best prices on products and produce.

Yogurt parfait granola was completely mush, so gross. Not worth $6. Can we get the dividers in and stop being cheap? I like my granola crunchy!

Good quality, very enjoyable experience. Great customer service.
But beware of perishable items dates. Often they will have products with the outdated best before dates or undiscounted items when they are best before today

In this store you can buy everything you need. And food and pills and alcohol.
Only the prices are a little higher

A smaller Sobeys but a convenient location. We managed to get everything we needed and more. Well maintained, with plenty of parking and good access.

It's a very nice place in the stock in the cashiers are very nice and helpful it's a very pleasant place through shop and get your groceries

Staff always helpful and friendly. Store is clean.
The only thing we found is sometimes when we go in to get Compliments brand of potato chips aren't stocked especially the lightly salted plain chips. Also the bags seem to be only 1/2 full or more of air. Also the last bottle of Compliments sweet mixed pickles we bought seem to have a different taste to them and they aren't as crunchy and tastes as they usually are. Have they changed something in the processing or pickling recipe? We also have a question as to why they are made in India? We love compliments brands and buy them over the big name brands because they are cheaper are the same quality and taste as the big brands. Like shopping at Sobeys

On the P. A announcement in the store. Sobey's claims that's during this new normal of covid, that our health, safety and well being is their number one priority. If this true. Why is it that they still sell all those sugar loaded soft drink? Which is the leading cause to obesity and cancer. I feel offended when I hear lies like this form a major corporation. It is obvious to me anyways, that profits come first not the health of our public. In reality people come second and health all depends on the individual. Thanks for offending me with your covid propaganda. Keep your little delusional comments to yourself Sobey's I don't what to hear your lies.

No Thrills has much better prices on alot of the same items. Not articles that are the same by type but by brand names especially.

It's a grocery store. The meat is overpriced compared to local Butcher shops, but it is rarely crowded. The flow of the store makes more sense than the Sobeys at East Point, on the other side of the city and that can make all the difference.

No one was at the desert area.one worker stepped up after paging someone and no one came.not laid off as well as the East Point one.but all in all a nice clean place

Shelves were well stocked with few shortages. The staff is very courteous and there were announcements regarding measures to help people shop safely during this time.

This has to be tue dumbest website ive ever seen. You can not search for stuff. There are no departments to search by or select. Ended up ordering from walmart

This is my preferred grocery store. It is very clean and well-stocked. Their produce is fresh and often local. The aisles are wide and they have taken every precaution to allow for physical distancing. However, I find that other customers often don’t take the precautions they should. Unfortunately, many don’t wear masks and are not good about keeping their distance. This happens in many stores, not just here, so I gave the store the excellent rating they deserve.

Hand station at entrance, carts wiped down, clear markings on floor, easy to find what I was looking for.

Cashiers and workers very friendly and helpful. Got everything I needed. Thanks for all you frontline workers.

I feel safe buying my food here. Not just at the precautions they take for our safety, but in the quality of the food. I know I don't have to worry about product safety. Thank you all front line workers!

This Sobeys is always very clean and well stocked. I like to shop on Mondays but other stores are empty by then. This Sobeys had everything stocked that I went for, even the sale items. Thank you for all your hard work!

They put rotting produce on sale instead of throwing it out. I’ve seen it on many occasions. I accidentally bought broccoli with live bugs all over it. It was plastic wrapped so I didn’t notice until I got home. I won’t be going back after that.

You need to shop around if you want the best deal, Sobeys doesn't always have it. But their stuff is always fresh, and they do have some good deals.

I went to purchase around a dozen common products, and they were out of 3 items I wanted. I had to go to another store to complete my shopping.

Convenient hours. The sensory shopping experience was comfortable and the reduced lighting was adequate. The local brew selections are good but are not chilled.

Great found everything I needed and a little more plus easy parking, polite and helpful staff. Have a great day.

Sobeys has a great selection, and it's open 24/7, if you dont like big crowds it would be in your best interest to go after 12AM! Its quite after midnight.however the prices are outrageous.

I love Sobeys because they always have the best selection of produce and dairy. The prices are a little bit of a expensive but the only have the best selection of produce and dairy products in my opinion. This is a really great location for stopping at. It's usually not hard to get a parking spot and it doesn't take long to through the checkout. I like their unbelievable prices and great selection on all the products.you will always find great selection on all the products that are at this location.

Typical Sobeys. Larger selection at this location. Just make sure you always check the expiry dates. Was there last week and the orange just I was buying out of 15 at least we're expires by months. Not the first time this has happened. I've learned to always just check the dates on everything now. Sobeys prices are high so if I'm paying a lot of money for groceries they better not be expired.

Everything you need under one roof, staff are friendly and helpful, well laid out for specific item searching and the only 24hr grocery store in Saint John, my go-to place when fast food restaurants are the only other option!

Great store. Still open in a storm. The cashier was Excellent. Even joked with me. I am from out of town. They treated me like I lived here. Excellent store!

They have changed their airmiles gas or extra points bonus so you only get it if you shop on the weekend. It's not fair to loyal customer who shop during the week. Perhaps it's time to check out Superstore.

Very busy the night before New year's Eve, but we were still in and out pretty easily. The parking lot was rather hectic.

I went here expecting to buy food to cook at home over the next couple weeks. I was not disappointed at all. This entire building is FULL of food. So glad I went to a store that sells food to buy food. I just love food so much. I would literally die without it. Thank you Sobeys for selling me food to eat!
