Sophia Nails

This is a review on just removal of full sets!

I went to get a set of nails removed and the person that took care of that appointment destroyed my actual nails. She didn't give the acetone time to work it's way into the product on my nails and used much force to pull the products from my nails. My fingers were sore for 2 weeks and the ends of my natural nail were so broken just before the moment they would bleed from being broken from the skin. I've been to salons that take their time and are much more gentle and careful with the removal of full sets. I've had salons even clean of the natural nail so there is no glue left over. I gave 3 stars because they have a decent amount of friendly staff and lots of seating and I was seen very quickly and was not too pricey. I do wish they were more gentle and gave the acetone more time on my nails, it would have done less damage and I would not have felt so much pain after

I am so happy with my experience and results from Sophia’s nails Moncton! I’ve gone to a few where I live in Sussex and even Saint John and I finally found a nail place! Thank you again so much an amazing job!

Sophia’s nails is the best.everyone is always so sweet! Unfortunately I had issues with my shellac manicure last time and they were all very apologetic and compensated me for the inconvenience. I'll never go anywhere else:)

Just say NO to this place.
Our first mistake was thinking the prices quoted on their website were in fact the real prices. They aren’t. They have taped new prices on their price board inside and wouldn’t honour the prices quoted on their site.
Our second mistake was to allow ourselves to continue on.
We are 3 senior ladies. Two daughters and our mother.
Our third mistake was not walking out after she cut our mothers toe once. We still stayed. She cut our mothers skin on 3 of her toes and they bled for quite some time.
All three of us were together while sitting in the pedi chairs, then we daughters were taken to the mani tables while our mother’s technician chose to do our mothers mani while seated in the pedi chair removed from us and visibly very uncomfortable and stressed.
Then while we remained in the mani station our mother was taken to the back of the room and placed behind a plant to sit with cold fans on her feet as hands. Again all alone, cut, hurting, stressed, and quite visibly uncomfortable.
Because of the issues with feet her technician did not preform a complete pedi service skipping steps that she thought might hurt her. The same with her mani. Steps were skipped. All she received was a clear regular polish on her toes and a colour on her nails. Also regular polish. The price for this…. $75.00. On line it says $65.00
We were offered a $5.00 discount. You couldn’t have slapped us any harder! A complete insult. After much arguing with the front desk a total of $20 was taken off.
In the drive home our mother showed us her jagged rough edged nails and had to go home to file her nails. I’ve been home a total of 20 minutes and see that I too have to take off my polish and do it myself because of the runs.
Each of us charged $75 for a reg mani pedi!
You want to come to my city from away and call this the maritime way of doing business?

I got regular nail polish for a good price but they filled all the top of my nails and now they are brittle nails don't have time to grow out with regular polish should never fill the top of nails with

The only place I’ll go for a pedicure. I now have convinced my husband to get them there too.

Less than 2 weeks and the acrylic was seperating from my nail. Colour at nail end was fading in less than a week.

Absolutely love my nails. Thank you! I found prices very reasonable. Coming from Canada, I loved the experience. After 1 1/2 weeks, just like new!

They were super nice, patient, and kind! I was late for my appointment due to my own fault to remember the time and they did not hold it against me. The gave me fast and great service for both mani and pedi and answered all my questions. They are gentle handling my sensitive hands and it was a calm and welcoming atmosphere. I can see them working hard and give their full attention to their clients. I would come back again.

I love going to Sophie’s always good quality and last very good. They are very friendly.

My daughters got their nails done and were very pleased. Staff was super friendly, they got home smiling, happy they got exactly what they wanted.
