Had my car for 6 days AFTER diagnosis and they couldnt even so much as give me a quote. Will not be back again.

Got a yellow engine light in my panel. I scanned my car, sent the code issues by email and called them. They said they would let me know if they could fix the issue. End of the day I received an email saying they will ask the mechanic next day. Week passed, nothing, no email, no call, nothing.

Old owner Bob used to be good but I had the worst experience and literally had to get a new car because of them even though most of my parts were new. The new owner Jeremy does not know how to run a business and the work they do is not good. 7k later and lots of time wasted I have a good car now

Employees are polite but the work they do is horrible, I had given santafe sport to replace front wiper motor and when I picked up the car wipers were not working. I had the same experience with my lancer 2 years back where speedy did horrible job.

I went to speedy auto a few times. The last time I went I booked an appointment to get the wheel bearing fixed on my car. I went in and the technician examined the car and agreed it needs to be changed. Then they gave me a quote and said I’d have to come back in a few weeks because they didn’t have time. I was frustrated by this, because I got charged $70 just to be told what I already knew. I booked the appointment to get my car fixed, not to waste money. If they didn’t have time to fix it that day, they should have told me. I brought it to a place in Salisbury that did it for much cheaper and actually did the work on the day of the appointment. Will not go back to Speedy.

They failed my inspection on my BMW due to a bad lower ball joint and a burnt out licence plate light. I brought it to BMW service center and they replaced the bulb at no charge and said the lower ball joints were like NEW. It passed inspection.
Never again Bob.

UPDATE:

I purchased the complete lower control arm assembly because you can't just buy the ball joint. BMW said it was not necessary.
I was there in the garage when the mechanic tried to show me with a 6 foot pry bar how bad the joint was. It didn't move 1 millimeter.

I tried to contact them to advise of details but not able to get through…. AVOID these leaches

I made an appt 2 weeks ago and today was the day. I was nervous as it was the first time going here but I am quite impressed! Not only were they able to get me in 4 days earlier than my normal place but the price was a savings of over $100! They did find another repair that is needed, advised me of it, quoted me for it, but only repaired the wheel bearing that they knew was my main concern as I have to travel to Saint John and back this weekend for work. I'm very pleased with the overall service and exchange with Kim! I highly recommend giving them a call if you need work done!

We called at 1pm on the Thursday of the easter weekend because we had a ceased caliper. Kim (reception) was so accommodating and was able to squeeze us in even though they and everyone else was booked. Mike worked on the truck and did an amazing job. I would highly recommend Speedy not just for their work and great prices but for the amazing customer service. We went in as strangers and left with feeling like friends. I have no idea where these negative reviews are coming from. How can so many people be having a bad day and decide to take it out on Speedy? Maybe the competition is sick and tired of Speedy playing fair that they need to bring them down a notch. I've been bringing my cars here for 6 years and they have been totally above board, honest, and flexible. They tell me what I need and also what I DON'T need. I know a lot about cars including engines, suspension, brakes, and the fuel system. My BS detector has NEVER gone off with these people - and that's unusual. Highest praise from me for Speedy. I send all my friends there.

We were in Moncton for an overnight trip from Nova Scotia on December 28th, 2021 and as we left the hotel our back passenger brake was making awful noises. We made our way to Speedy as it wasn't far. They took has right in and checked out our van. They found the caliper for the parking brake was sticking on that side. They got it free so we could travel home as long as it we didn't engages the parking brake on our van. They told us to contact our dealer and it may be covered under warranty. We were they at least 30 minutes, they had our van in the shop on the hoist and didn't charge us anything to get us safely back on the road. Great people at this shop. They made my family feel welcome and we cant thank them enough! If we ever need service in Moncton this is the place to go!

I recently brought my vehicle in for a standard oil change, my car is only 1 year old and I knew nothing was wrong with it. Not once was I suggested or pressured into buying anything extra that I didn't need. The shop was clean and the staff were nice! The lady at the front desk was polite and knowledgeable about car parts and services. I felt the price was fair and completed in a timely manner. Thank you for the easy transaction

We were travelling through from Ontario when we needed immediate service to our van. The tech had our vehicle in within minutes, they stayed past close to finish the work so we can continue on our trip. They gave us advice as to where we could do our laundry, get groceries etc while we waited. They completed a significant amount of work in a short time and the parts were delivered honestly within 15 minutes. Extremely impressed with the service. They really did save our road trip.

Was in a bind, Car didnt start, had to get it jumpstarted, and than i could not shut it off, took it to Speedy, explained my situation, they were able to take me in right away, and gave the most excellent service, the receptionist was also friendly, and helpful, and got me fixed up right away, I really am thankful for there great Service. Thank you Speedy.

My daughter and I were travelling from NS to ON in two separate cars. As we approached the NB border from NS, my daughter called me to say that her car was really squeaking loudly. We stopped at the border to take a look. There was something not right about the rear driver's tire spring, it was hanging down and her tire was very close to the top of the wheel well. We called ahead to Speedy in Moncton on Mountain Rd. They were able to squeeze us in (this was late Friday afternoon). We drove very cautiously and anxiously to their location. They got her car in right away. They inspected the vehicle and brought us in to show us the problem. They were able to replace the broken (rusted out) lower controller arm. They inspected the passenger side and told us that would could most likely make it back to ON with it as it was. After we took a look at it, we asked them if they would replace it as well as it appeared to us to be pretty rusted out also. It should be noted that they DID NOT upsell us for the second controller arm. For safety concerns, we asked them to replace it. They completed both replacements efficiently. We were pleasantly surprised by the cost of the repair and left feeling much reassured that we could continue on our way safely. Bob, Mike and Kim treated us very kindly. We greatly appreciated their professionalism. Kim even suggested where we could stop to have the tires re-torqued (Woodstock). This mama was so relieved that her duckling arrived safe and sound to her destination. I offer my deepest gratitude to Bob and his staff. I definitely recommend the quality of service from Speedy Auto Service at 905 Mountain Road, Moncton, NB.

Part mark up was a little high. However staff was friendly and honest. If you need to get something done in an emergency, there are definitely worst places then here.

Always feel like I'm well treated, and get my money's worth. Kim always gets me the best price on parts, Bob always treats me like a valued customer and Ray always does great work, all while respecting my budget. Thanks guys

After reading all the great reviews I took my 11 year old Cobalt to Speedy last week for an exhaust problem. After they had a look at it, they took me right into the shop to show me what needed to be repaired and then told me what would be done and how much it would cost. So while I was waiting I mentioned to Bob that I was told by another garage the cam shaft solenoids needed replacing (check engine light was on) so he checked out the engine code (at no added cost to me) and confirmed it was the solenoids and he gave me a written estimate on the repair and explained to me that it wasn't urgent. For all of this I am very grateful and Bob and all the other professional, pleasant, smiling staff get two thumbs up from me. While I was there another happy customer dropped in just to bring donuts to the staff because he was so pleased with the service that he had received there.that says it all!

Great Customer service, went there for the first time and they treated me like I am their friend, best service in town. I will never take my car anywhere else from now on. I would highly recommend this place.

When I took my car here for a motor vehicle inspection, they as I watched were going to fail everything on my car, and the mechanic who looked to be leading the heard mentioned 3 times about a noise he heard in the back. Anyways this is when I asked them to pull out my car and I could just pay them. They did and the mechanic asked if he should put the rejection sticker on it. The clerk said "no just put it together and pull it out. That day I then made an appointment with ok tire, they passed my car in about 20 minutes with 0 issues. Speedy would have had me replace many parts that were still good. I wouldn't take anything there not if you value your money.

I hate this place right now like they dont look at keeping the customers and being nice with them to gave them a good price i was there for my inspection rejected for my brake price to repair more then 400$ and they dont even look to gave me a discount to try to help me i went to another garage i got my brake repair for 200$ DO NOT GO THERE they will just try to charge you the maximum as possible they can

Seemed like the only place in town that i was able to get an appointment same week was thankful and will return in future if necessary.

Bob is simply Great. Though I gave a last minute call and need my car checked, he squeezed me in to the same day.when it came to change the part, he checked for a recall, so that i can end up getting it replaced for free. Thank u Bob.

8 years ago I had a flat on a f150 fully loaded and the spare would not come off in front of ok tire Went in to see them and they said we don t have time for that go see speedy down the street! Ok so I did. They fixed it as soon as I go there and released the spare under truck bed. That was the best advice I got. Service is top notch they are honest and thats the only place I go Thanks Bob and the crew

Quite impressed. I had a safety inspection done by another garage and was awaiting what I thought would be about a $600 to $900 bill when I phoned Speedy Auto to double check things and was promptly given a same day timing to check my exhaust. Bob showed me what could be done, efficiently repaired the vehicle and had me on my way for pretty much nothing. The experience renewed my faith in honest work and I've found myself a new garage.

I took my car there to fix an exhaust problem and the staff was really great and the price was very reasonable. They also kindly took the time to help me with other issues with my car and were very explicative and professional. From now on they will be my first choice if I need to go to the garage. I recommend!

I punched a hole into my transmission pan a day after purchasing my truck. The dealerships service was closed and I am from out of town. I called Speedy as they were open on Saturday. They were unsure if they could even get the part where it was a Saturday and the truck is so new, but Kim did some searching and found the pan and got it replaced for me. The staff are wonderful they took the extra time to ensure I was able to get back on the road again. I 100 percent recommend Speedy auto service!

I have NEVER enjoyed going to the car shop. It's always been a fear of mine being someone who knows nothing about cars, and quite honestly, can be very easily ripped off. These people are absolutely wonderful. They are so honest and kind. I will forever go back for any and every issue!

We can’t say enough good things about our experience this past week with the Team at Speedy Auto Moncton. They made a special effort to fit us in last minute on an already busy Saturday, and made sure all was fixed and safe on our vehicle (we could see it was not an easy job to replace our wheel bearing) which allowed us to continue our cross country road trip - amazing! This is a very big thank you to everyone working that day at Speedy Auto - I even wish I lived nearby so I could take my vehicle back for any future maintenance - all because this Team demonstrated such a high level of care and quality of work when helping us - as well as helping the other customers we saw passing through the shop that day. Only take your car here if you need something replaced, they will not repair and they only use their premium parts! They wanted 450.00 to change my muffler when i was already told it did not need to be replaced just repaired and they told me it could not well guess what. It is repaired just like new and it cost me 80.00! Seen a blonde woman and thought they could just screw me and i would pay! Nope!

I did not get a chance to meet the mechanic (s) however I want to extend a big thank you for the top quality work that was done on my Focus. It runs like new again and that says a lot for a 5+ year old Ford, haha.
