Splash Thai Cuisine

Excellent service, calm ambience, and food is superb. However, of all the pad thai we tried, their pad thai was really spicy but still delicious and we still enjoyed it. Overall, we loved our dine here. Will surely come back.

I had mixed feelings about my recent visit to Splash. The coconut curry noodles left much to be desired, as the beef was quite chewy, making it difficult to finish the plate. The Massaman curry was passable. However, the appetizers mixed platter was delightful and disappeared within seconds at our table. What truly stood out was the excellent service and the inviting atmosphere. While the main dishes could use some improvement, the overall experience was made memorable by the attentive staff and cozy ambiance.

The food was amazing, the staff are amazing and the atmosphere was amazing!
If you ever want to feel like a VIP and have a fantastic meal, this is the place to go!

We love Thai food, have eaten it all over the world. This place rates up there with some of the best.
The wait staff did a great job even suggesting a change to our meal that was Excellent. If we are back in town we will be back here again.

This is unfortunately not very good Thai food. The curry and pad thai were subpar. Sadly, even Thai Express is better. We absolutely love Thai food, have been to Thailand, and tried many restaurants in many cities. Stay home and make it yourself. So many recipes online that are better. I promise you won't regret it.

I’ve lived in Saint John for 11 yrs and have never been here. Went down on coronation weekend to watch with my cousin and stopped in her for take out. I chose to dine in once I saw the place. The ambiance was peaceful. The decor is fantastic. As for the food - WOW! I wanna turn back time to when I lived here to try everything on their menu. Im so disappointed that I’ve waited this long. However, I do know that I won’t ever visit Saint John again without eating here every time!

I had the toasted cashews with chicken stirfry. The flavours were so complementary and delicious. I can’t say enough positive things about it. I will say though I should be going to Saint John next week, the servers here will see me again.

I love Splash! Very friendly staff and great food. In my opinion they serve the best Chicken Pad Thai. Huge portions, lots of meat. I have tried dozens and always compare them to Splash. They have some fantastic dishes on their menu. The Massaman Curry is also amazing. I’ve never been disappointed. Make sure you call in your order early if you want to pick up, as they get very busy.

The flavors in some of the dishes seemed a little underdeveloped or subdued.
The food was served hot, and our wait time was good. Our server was pleasant and was doing a great job with the multiple tables he was responsible for.

The atmosphere seemed a little dark.

It was okay. Portions were huge but not overly tasty. Nice enough night out. Parking lot was very crowded but there had been a recent snowstorm so maybe that contributed.

So from the get go, I have to apologize to Splash because I walked in with little to no expectations and was ready to be disappointed. Boy was I surprised.
We started off with the shares appetizer for 2. I was really surprised. Very tasty with complex flavours that work together so well.
Our main dishes were garlic chili Pad Thai for him and the Coconut Curry Noodles for me. I was blown away. The level of spice was spot on. Spicy and enjoyable. I loved the creaminess the coconut milk brought to the dish and the subtle lime taste was just out of this world.

I will be going back. I highly recommand

If the food was exceptional, it'd make up for a lot of the sins on the service side. Unfortunately, the food now seems to come with mistakes in technique as well. Shame to see the decline here, it used to be reliable.

One of my favs in Saint John, food is delicious and staff are exceptional on making your experience positive!

We visit Splash any time in the area. It's one of our favorite spots to visit with our parents.

Great food and good service. Went there for our anniversary without a reservation and was fit in.

Ordered take out was very disappointed with the quality of the food. I had to slop up the grease from the rice, it was terrible and the amount of the grease from the drunken noodles was no better.very disappointing. The beef (which was to be ginger) had no taste to it and it seems like the dish was about 40% water and about 10% meat with vegetable mixed in for the rest. Not a great experience, very disappointed.

We love this place, the food is delicious, fresh and so packed with flavour and Kristina was our awesome server who made a great Caesar…thank you Kristina for all of your great recommendations … a must go to when in Saint John, New Brunswick!

Tasty! Great service. A bit pricey for the area but worth it for some good Thai food served with smiles.

We ordered crispy spring rolls, red curry with tofu, cashew chicken, and splash udon noodles and were very pleased! Staff were lovely and the food was tasty, with good portion sizes that allowed us to have leftovers for a second meal. We'll definitely be back.

Best curry I've ever had, the yellow curry chicken is PERFECTLY balanced, the sweet potato adds JUST enough sweetness to compliment the heat and vice versa! Definitely recommend the yellow curry, but if you like curry you can't go wrong with any of them!

My wife and I always eat here whenever we have the chance. Coconut Curries, spicy noodles, great soups and a really nice atmosphere to boot.

They have real Thai cousine here. Top 3 in my book. But the service was absolutely terrible. Worst waitor we've had.

Ordered coconut curry noodle with shrimp and it tasted amazing. Very flavourful and generous amount of shrimp! It was spicier than I expected but I still love it very much.

Take out from Splash is a family dinner staple of ours. Consistently great Thai. Recipes only ever change for the better. Get the green curry and fried wanton.

I go a drink spilled on me, no compensation, still had to pay full price.plus i arrived with my group at 6 and didn’t get our food until almost 2 hours after i arrived.terrible experience, not tipping.

The food here is outstanding! Very generous portions, excellent flavor and just downright awesome! Love the atmosphere as well

This is a really awesome restaurant the Thai food here is extremely good can't complain whatsoever the appetizers are very delicious and amazing excellent service really good staff not long of a wait the place is really clean the bathrooms are clean really love this occasion and I highly recommend anybody looking for a great Thai restaurant to come and check out this location here thanks for everything guys will be coming to see you again real soon.

There are those "must eat" locations in every city you visit, Splash is one of those locations. Reasonably priced, great customer service, and the FOOD! Soo delicious. Its become our go to location at least once a quarter for an evening date night!

Excellent service always, prompt and professional staff. Exceptional food, we have been here at least half a dozen times and have never had a bad experience. Reasonable prices and large portions of five star Thai food.

Service was extremely slow.
The food was way too expensive for the quality.
The quality of the food was just dissappointing.

I thought with all the good reviews it would be good but we left spending 50$ each wishing we had gone elsewhere.

When we arrived with no reservations we were made to feel like we should have booked and like we were an inconvenience.

Will not be returning

I really love this restaurant. The food and staff are amazing and the atmosphere is great. It's a little pricier but it's totally worth it, especially if everyone shares dishes. Which is a fun unique way to enjoy a meal with friends and family.

Outstanding guest service and went above and beyond in accommodating a 9 y/o w/a severe dairy allergy.verdict, he LOVED that he could share in everything on the table as the Chef made a couple of modifications to ensure that he could safely eat and try everything. Well done Splash!

Splash is one of my favorite restaurants. We went out of our way to make an excuse to visit Saint John just to go to this restaurant. The food, atmosphere and friendly servers are amazing.

Splash Thai Cuisine is one of my “go-to” places for delicious food. The atmosphere is relaxing and you never feel like you’re enjoying your meal while sitting too close to another party. There’s a good mix of booth and table/chair options, and while it’s always smart to make a reservation, we’ve always experience great hospitality when arriving without one. Date nights and celebrations are always enjoyed when at Splash, and when it’s a cold evening and you want to enjoy delicious food from the comfort of your own home without turning on the oven, Splash offers take-out! I particularly enjoy their golden curry, ordering it 90% of the time I’m there. My husband loves their Pad Thai! The staff are friendly, and it’s conveniently located on Rothesay Avenue.

This restaurant is absolutely excellent! Portions are big, service is fast and friendly, and food is absolutely delicious. We got the green chicken curry and red tofu curry and the red was about 2x spicier than the green (to our surprise). We love spice though and thought it was very flavourful.

Crazy delicious food! Staff, service, and atmosphere all terrific too. Highly recommended. Pricing isn't cheap but they could charge far more and we'd all still pay it! BECAUSE IT'S THAT GOOD!

Great food, awesome staff. Reservation recommended. We stop in without a reservation, luckily there were a couple seats at the bar available. Prices were good and we had leftovers for days. Best carrot cake in SJ!

Amazing food and always great service + atmosphere! Must haves are the Massaman Curry, Pad Thai and Toasted Cashews with Chicken - come with a group, order a bunch of dishes and share!

Delicious food, but it's unclear when to call to ensure takeout is available. The food is so popular they close the takeout option at times.
They were especially helpful with a specific dietary request.

The restaurant was clean and the ambiance is nice. The food was great. Would have given 5 stars if it wasn’t for the fact that they do not have a Caesar salad (the most common salad for a sit down restaurant with a steak dinner, which I had) and for the fact that the waiter came and tried to take away our appetizers before we were finished. He seemed either new and inexperienced or socially awkward. The tables are very close together and it was hard to have a private conversation. Service brings the mark down but, I would recommend to anyone to try Splash. Huge portions and very good Thai food.

As per usual at Splash the atmosphere is wonderful the food was delicious. The waiter was very attentive and very kind. I had the yellow curry my friend had the cashew chicken and we also shared an appetizer both dishes were amazing as always I've also had the duck here before which is also an outstanding dish.
