I have had multiple vehicles purchased from this location. Hank in Sales is great and Sean in service is excellent. The guys in parts are super helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Honestly, I have few complaints if any. I have had issues in the past with vehicles but not with the staff.

Purchased a new 2018 Chevrolet truck. Sales representatives were excellent, friendly and wonderful to deal with. Ended up having a small issue with the truck and the service employees we're absolutely top shelf. Gave me the service that I would expect with a smile on their face.wonderful place to do business. Wanted some accessories and the guys at the parts counter were just as awesome as everybody else. I cannot recommend this place enough and will certainly be returning here to buy another vehicle.

Bought another truck and an Equinox. Still very pleased.

Terrible.over 10 mins on hold.amanda who answers the phone refused to take my name and number and pass it off

Waited 2 months for a new key fob

They charged me over $400.called to say it was ready with only 30 mins till closing on a friday.paid in full at the counter. Keyfob didnt work.

They said they knew but charged me anyways for a key and programming they never did.i got a refund.however terrible customer service.not a single apology or attention to their failure.off to another dealer

Been waiting 6 weeks for warranty on truck and on hold for 20-30 mins every call (5 calls now) and no one seems to know anything about my truck. Not sure but the owner really needs to get it together there. So unprofessional and unreliable. These new trucks are not cheap and company needs to look after their customers.

Bought a new truck here 2014, was recomended anti rust modual over 1200$, less than year later frame complete rust, told the salesman i wish i had it rust checked instead, he told me i would have voided the warranty if did, what a scam

Went in to get my new fob programd, took even after an apointment was set over 1 hr to do a 5 min job, looks like nowhone tried to check the remote starter! Found out 3 days later, make noice no starting is this not a part of it? Guess not. Pretty disappointed

Very friendly faces, staff will take the time to greet you and make sure you feel welcomed. They have a very clean space and free wifi for guest as they wait. But of course they never wait too long.

I am so disappointed with Steele, made an appointment for an oil change took 2 hours then I had my tires changed to winter tires which had the rims on them another 2 hours. My time is just as valuable as theirs.

**SERVICE IS HORRIBLE! NIGHTMARE SERVICE, NOT ONCE BUT TWICE!

Service manager is horrible fights with you each time about your reason for visiting, extremely rude, not customer service oriented, and attempts to be humorous with smart remarks. Asked for head office number and he didn't know it.couldn't even find it.offered his manager's number instead.

This location is on Rothesay avenue surrounded by other car dealers. Save yourself the trouble and STAY FAR AWAY!

Most recent purchase for Steele a bit complicated as there were a few glitches with the used vehicle I was buying, but the dealer came through regards the most important ones. My salesperson Depen Darjee was amazingly friendly and help full. I was an out of town buyer so communications were important. Depen was there on the spot with all of my concerns He is an asset to his company. I would certainly recommend his dedication to his clients if your thinking of buying a car from Steele St John.

Good staff and good service. I have to tell it as it is.
I wouldn't worry about these people. They will listen to your complaint or sell you a fine vehicle. I have always been a Chev or GMC guy. Must be a reason eh!
BUT I did most of my maintenance myself so beware

Just got a new high country over the phone to troy at bretts.all in all it took about 15mins to complete the deal. I have dealt with troy a couple of times and I find him up front and honest.also the with the service department with getting my truck in when out there.

Bought a new to us vehicle. We dealt with Hank and he was excellent. Lots of knowledge about the vehicle and its features. Never too pushy. Tom on the business side worked great to get an excellent deal for us. Definitely will be going back when we look to purchase again.

What A joke this dealership is
I have a 2015 GMC needs a battery
and air conditioner condenser.
They quoted me 345.00 dollars for the battery plus install charge yes. The air cost was 1180.00 dollars.
So I asked the service adviser to explain. He did he stated he didn't set the pricing.
I understand.
I told I was leaving I was upset
He smiled I left
And I will not go back.
If U want great service you to go Blenheim Chev they are good people. They are going to fix truck
At fair and reasonable cost.

Worse experience ever buying a used SUV. Spent first 2 and half months trying to get stuff fixed that was suppose to be done before we first picked it up.everytime time we picked up more issues with everything they touched doing repairs. Won't be back.wish I could give less than 1 star.

I just bought another Chev from Kevin Reid at Brett's. I had actually planned on buying something different because I liked my neighbors new vehicle.but thought I would still shop around. Kevin once again went above and beyond in assisting me to get the exact vehicle I want at a price I couldn't say no to. The finance person, Brandon, was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The whole experience was once again excellent as usual. I recommend Brett's, and especially our sales rep, Kevin Reid (who has been our sales rep for our last 6 vehicles). Even if you aren't exactly looking for a GM product, it is worth your while to check it out. I have owned many different brand of vehicle in my life, but the ones I bought from Brett's were my favorite.plus the personal, non-pressure service provided by Kevin makes the shopping process more relaxed without feeling pressure to buy.but you will want to!

I waited two weeks for a replacement coolant reservoir to arrive. In the meantime without a car I racked up a $550 rental car bill, which I communicated to the service team there. After two weeks and no part arriving, they offered an aftermarket part which they sourced across town and installed that day. I understand the desire to use OEM parts, but what a ridiculous supply chain. I politely explained my discontent to the service manager in person (I'm not just posting this out of the blue.) I observed no desire on the part of management to turn the situation into a positive customer experience. The best he offered was an "I understand your disappointment. "
The technician was pleasant and the manager was polite.
I will avoid the Brett service department in the future.

I was in at Brett’s for a recall and other repairs. Trevor the service manager, Bryanna and the rest of the team were excellent. I had been having a very bad week and they really went the extra mile.

I appreciated everything they had done for me and making what could have been a very poor experience into a positive.

I highly recommend.

I bought a 2014 Cadillac SRX SUV this summer and I had the peasure to meet my sales person Russell Henderson (wonderful person), Russell worked very hard to help me find the perfect car to meet all of my needs. I have been dealing with Bretts for years now and all of my expetiences have been very good. The staff have a great deal of knowledge in there products. Also working with Sean and Trevor in the service department has been very good. They are all truly professionals and they have always treated me with respect and listen to me as a customer. Excellent service and friendly staff. We just purchased a 2018 silverado from Brandon Richards he helped us with the sale of the vechicle as well as Mike Case on the finance.
This was by far the easiest most convient transaction I have ever done.
I stopped in at very end of the day and these gentleman had me in a brand new truck next day. Thats prompt. Thank you guys

My mom purchased a car from them and everyone was so nice and helpful. They explained how everything worked in the car and made us feel so comfortable. We used to drive Ford vehicles but Ford Employees especially can not even do an oil change right let alone anything else. Their vehicles are definitely not up to the standard that Brett's Chevrolet is. I will be buying my next car from them and so will my family and friend. The staff are so great and go out of their way to make sure that you're happy.

After just having a baby less than 2 months ago, the last thing I wanted to see was a $745 bill. I had a recall done less than a year ago for a High Pressure Fuel Pump replacement on my 2011 Chevy Equinox. The other day, my girlfriend was driving it with her daughter and my newborn in It when all of a sudden the engine light came on and the engine went into reduced power mode. I was able to limp it into Brett's that day and were also able to look at it for me that day. At first, I was told that there was no parts coverage for this. Obviously I was not happy with this due to the fact that I did not even have a year or 25,000 km on the component that was replaced. I spoke with the Service Manager, Trevor Woods, who right away began a process to see if there was anything that could be done through GM Canada for this. I am happy to report that GM Canada is coming good on their product malfunction and that I will once again be able to get this fixed at no cost to me. I want to give a huge shout out to Trevor and his team of advisors for going above an beyond the call of duty to help me out and it is something that I will not forget. I have always been a GM guy and I do not plan on changing brands anytime soon. Keep up the great work folks:)
