Best Indian food I've come across in Moncton. I'm wondering if they'd sell their butter chicken sauce by the tub. Lol. Great atmosphere and Waite staff were friendly and helpful.

Tried Dal and mix veg with naan, was yummy.

Best East Indian restaurant that we have found in Atlantic Canada. Any visit to Moncton always includes Taj Mahal. Food and service is reliably excellent. Highly recommended.

Great place for Indian Authentic flavors. I tried chana Masala rice. It was very delicious. Rating 10/10

There is a reason why they are still operating since 2003. Very authentic Indian food.

Very tasty and authentic food served in a comfortable atmosphere. All dishes are ala carte. I had the mutton saag, naan and rice, which was very, very good. Service was the very best ever.

We celebrated Mother's Day at Taj Mahal with the special ladies in our lives. Everything tasted amazing, really great service from our waitress!

Terrible service
I went all the way to have proper dinner plus having big expectations because of the review. It was terrible, the food is good but the service was unbelievable. There are quite few tables when we arrive and they asked me if I reservation but I said no. The waitress took me table at the corner right in front of bar. I was OK with that, was given me menu and took 20 minutes to come and give me glass of water and another 20 minute to take the order. I am still OK with that the food got ready in 20 minute and I was not getting cutlery to eat the food. At the end they bring for me (3) tea spoon to eat my meals. Common sense that how the diner will eat the food with tea spoon at the end I had meals with big spoon that was supposed to share the food.
Never again even if it for free, that much terrible service but I was kind enough to leave the tips for the waitress. But not worth it

Table for two is too small, we ordered just one dish and table for two falls short and keep asking customer how's the food is bit annoying on their first bite if we need something we will simply ask but other than that its really annoying that you are keep asking customer how's the food, food was also decent not much appreciable, not recommended.we don't feel food was fresh

Good Indian food, lovely waitress, fast, fair prices, will definitely be back. The papadums were extremely peppery, interesting and tasty.

Mixed feelings. Food quality is good, service is good. But, you know, when I'm eating Indian food I want to have multidimensional taste, or different kinds of taste. Here it's like a single one, a little boring. Not so colourful (if you can tell it about taste) and spectacular. Kids like butter chicken, so this will order in future for takeout

I visited this place recently as a delivery driver. Friendly service. And food is always ready to pick up.
The only thing I don't like about the delivery service here is that we have to sign paper while picking. I assumed some negative experience with drivers made this decision.
I don't like to give my personal signature on public paper. Anyway other than that the staff is always super friendly.
It was somehow difficult to find parking but we were informed in the directions. And no wait time for orders makes no issues at all

We had the subz jalfrezi and the malai kofta. Since they have an in-house tandoor, the garlic naan was really good. The curries were so-so.

We had an excellent experience at this restaurant! Our server was very attentive and checked in often with us. The food was delicious, especially the biryani and Rohan Josh. The hotel also has a really nice ambience. We also really appreciated that the restaurant has dedicated lactose and gluten free menus. We will definitely visit again next time we’re in Moncton!
