According to my brother, it has some of the best seafood that he has ever eaten. Delicious food with generous portion sizes.

Indoor and outdoor dining options are available. Amazing views of the ocean and the sea caves.
Friendly, fast and courteous staff.

I recently had the opportunity to dine at The Cave View Family Restaurant during a tour. While the restaurant was officially closed for the season, they graciously opened their doors to our tour as a caterer, providing a limited menu with four options to choose from:

Seafood chowder
Chicken strips and fries
A garden salad
Minestrone soup
I decided to go for the Seafood chowder with a biscuit and a cookie.

It's worth noting that I can't provide detailed feedback on the service, as it was more of a "bag lunch" situation than a traditional dining experience. However, I can comment on the food.

The Seafood chowder was quite enjoyable, with just the right amount of salt to enhance the flavor. It's clear that they put effort into making a tasty chowder. The only downside was the biscuit, which arrived cold, impacting its overall appeal. On a positive note, the cookie I had was a chocolate, chocolate chip delight, and it added a sweet and delicious touch to the meal.

In conclusion, my experience at The Cave View Family Restaurant was influenced by the unusual circumstances of being outside of their regular season. I believe that a visit during their normal spring and summer operations might provide a more satisfying dining experience with a broader menu and better service.

My wife and I had the recommended seafood chowder. We are both upset that we cannot get anything like this in Texas. Oh, how I wish that they would ship this chowder. If you happen to be at this restaurant, just order it and enjoy!

Amazing food. The fish and chip was delicious, crispy coating and not too greasy. Worth the drive down to St Martins.

We had burgers, they were quite good. Busy spot, but they definitely have a system to get food out quickly.

Splendid chowder and rolls with an amazing view. Make sure to come early before all the tour busses arrive for lunch to avoid the large line

This place had amazing views and they have the best seafood chowder I’ve ever tried! Food was served quickly. Lobster roll and fish and chips was decent (although not the best I’ve ever had).

Gotta have the seafood chowder! It was my first time trying chowder and it was delicious and comforting on a rainy day. And can't beat the view of course.

Lobster roll was really yummy! The fries are very good too, like surprisingly amazing for fries. The selection is a little small and a few items were unavailable but that's just because of how remote the place is.

Considering it's the only eatery right by the caverns I expected it to be a tourist trap but it was not!

I had their famous seafood chowder and it was delicious. The servers are very friendly and the view is priceless.

I had the fish and chips. The fish was flaky and moist, Food came out hot. Service was great. Beautiful view while you eat. I just wish they got better chairs. They were cheap plastic lawn chairs.

Honestly the best chowder I've had. I travelled through Nova Scotia and PEI and none of them even came close. You seriously have to try it!

This is the best seafood restaurant I ever ate at. I went there at a time when the tide was just coming back in. It's a beautiful view towards the Bay of Fundy.
I ordered scallops with onion rings and a piece of Haddock with fries. The fries were deep fried to perfection. They tasted flavorful and were hot. The Haddock was perfectly buttered and tasted so good. I think they do the butter themselves. The breaded scallops were done perfectly as well. After eating, I went for a walk along the Bay, looking at the tide coming in. It's a great place to be at when there's low-tide. You can explore some caves and walk around. It's a beautiful place with a beautiful view!
