Customer service is rocking it! Great staff makes this Home Depot a bit more better than the usual ones.

I cannot believe the treatment I received at the Saint John Home Depot Store. I have been a loyal customer spending over $3000 in just the last 6 months. Last Saturday, they were to deliver the supplies for our front deck. Family members took time from their weekends to come and help us build it. When the supplies arrived we were missing crucial items such as deck blocks, post brackets and post tops. When I called the store to let them know I was told that they knew they had not sent all of the supplies we paid for. They told us that we could either be refunded for the missing items or wait another week to see if they could get them in. They also told us we would have to pick up the items ourselves should they come in. Even though we paid to have everything delivered. We decided to have our money refunded for the missing items. When I arrived at the store, the Assistant Manager Chris S.dismissed me, sending me to the Customer Service counter. While working out my refund I asked to speak to the assistant manager again, as I wanted to know why they would not contact us to tell us that they were not sending all of the items we paid for. Mine and my families time is valuable and I do not appreciate it being wasted. When Chris S.arrived he could not answer my question. My husband was very upset and wanted to return ALL of the items. I was trying to smooth over the situation, and asked for a discount for our trouble. Chris S became belligerent and rude, and purposely embarrassed me in front of the other customers. He then arrogantly told me if we didn't want to shop at Home Depot we could take our business elsewhere. Well, don't worry we went to Kents, and were treated with all the dignity and respect customers deserve. Home Depot needs to have managers who can remain professional or you are going to lose even more valued customers.

James, who works in the washer & dryer section, is phenomenal! So knowledgeable, patient, and courteous, he really makes each visit to the store special. Keep up the awesome work James! Home Depot is so lucky to have you!

I gotta love this store, the pricing is good, Employees are even better, The Manager is better than Grandma baked bread

Staff not helpful at all. Never have orders ready for pickup. They seem to know what they have in stock or not you are better off looking for it yourself. Fredericton store is 100 percent better than St John

Only one home depot store in Saint john, customer reps are awesome, very friendly atmosphere, well organized store.

The staff are all very helpful, they will take you to your aisle you are looking for unless you just ask where abouts something is, or which aisle is this item in.

Great big box store with all of the brand names you would expect. Surprisingly hood prices on landscape and other products

Friendly staff and a great selection of products at competitive prices and great quality.
I appreciate that they also stand behind their RIGID brand and other products they sell.

Terrible service. No one ever answers the phone when trying to place an order at the building supplys department.

I was there yesterday, bought a lot of expensive fittings. I go there almost twice a week, The first girl who cashed me out near the front was awesome. When i was leaving by the back, where the lumber is, this short heavy set girl with rotten teeth came running at me screaming, stop, stop, stop stop, as i was leaving the store.lol, She was very aggressive and demanded i show her a receipt. And what was in my bag. She then arrogantly grabbed my payed purchased from my my arms. And started demanding a receipt. Customers were laughing at this women because of her terrible behaviour. Any way never going back, where do they get these workers, LOL. Seems like they must be desperate for people if that's all they can find. This place needs new management. Anyway Kents is just around the corner, they will be getting my business for now on. I have had enough of that ignorant worker.

Arrived for a appointment at 7pm talked to the store manager said someone would be right out after two phone calls and a trip in side 3 hrs later I got someone to unload me. This will be my last load to this store

Great find on a deal for toaster. A girl from MET team, Holly, was very helpful. Also informed us they no longer sell can openers.

Tried calling and kept getting transferred until THEY hung up on me at least 4 times. Very poor customer service.

I cant stand trying to call this place, the people that answer the phone are either rude, incompetent or just leave you on hold, I've been on hold for 30 minutes and then they answer and hang up. Happens every single time I call, I avoid shopping here as much as I can and its really unfortunate because I spend a lot at hardware stores as I'm a contractor they used to be real good

Nice large accessible parking lot. Products you need, when you need it, and great service by knowledgeable staff.

I am currently sitting on hold for the second time this month for them forgetting apart of my home delivery.
Their customer service person was extremely rude and then put me on another hold where I’ve been sitting on hold for the last 25 minutes.

Finally got thru, they just picked up the phone and hung up instantly.

Genuinely helpful and speedy staff got me exactly what I needed on time. The choice to have blinds cut on site made things even easier during this multipurpose visit of mine. I'll be back for some of those beautiful lamps when I can afford them.

I called in an order for a certain shade of stain and St. John Homedepot had it, I live outside Fredericton so we made it a day trip and it was a good shopping experience.

Called to check the store in Saint John had the Paslode US-100 air stapler in stock. They did and we made the trip down.

Beware if you're seeking customer assistance via the phone.have extreme patience. Called numerous times to get through to the Pro Desk to get a quote - no luck but someone picked up the phone numerous times only to put me back on hold again. Gave up. Guess I'll take 3 car garage project package elsewhere. Always see staff in store more interested in self socializing than being attentive to customers - aren't they supposed to be "Customer Service Representatives"? Get it together H. D!

Some prices are high and others quite reasonable, staff is hard to find when you need help. Some not knowledgeable about their products

Nice clean and very large store. Lots of product and accurate online inventory check. Can never find an employee for help unless you go to customer service. That's my only complaint.

I call and got very poor services from customer service the kindly said that my call was not that important because there sales people where busy with customer that where spending a lot of money I want to spend money on a washer so not important

Horrible customer service. Home Depot Saint John owes me 3,600$ due to their merchant system charging my credit cards twice. I notice other people here locally are having the same problem. To the point where their employees are "kicking" customers who are refusing to accept their "its in limbo stage". I instead had to claim a fraudulent charge through my credit card merchant. As a real estate investors, tangling up 3,600$ in credit is a no no. Especially seeing this issues could really hurt those with bad credit as this would most likely show the customer utilized more than 30% of their credit. Really ticked off.

Delivery was delivered to my old address by mistake. Situation was handled professionally and promptly by store manager issued refund for delivery charge.

Honestly when I come to home Depot I expect Job lot quantities to be a guarantee. This has not been the case and my past few trips for large amounts of lumber. I constantly have to pick through scraps and when I ask employees for a fresh restock of a certain pile I have not one, not twice but three times been told (on seperate occasions) that this is all they have in stock in the entire store. Other than this major issue the staff is usually friendly and helpful as they can be. I was disappointed when they offered zero solutions to the stock issue or any sort of accomodation to keep myself the customer happy. Anyway nothing I can do but write this review. I have never had this problem when I lived in Ontario and shopped for materials at the home Depot locations there. Pretty disappointed.

Any one thinking about buying milwaukee tools from home depot
think twice.the warranty is bad had impact gun in service for 3 months
with very little use and it is already broken.now i have to take it to a repair shop and get it fixed.problem is the repair shop doesnt even know when they can look at it.because there backed up.not good service when you need the tool for work

Only one cash open. Don't like self check-out. Only go to a Home Depot if I absolutely have to. Usually when the others are busy.

Good Home Depot. Stuff usually in Stock. Staff are relatively available for assistance. A lot of them have attitudes and sometimes you seem to be bothering them.

Everytime I come in here I see employees standing but no help to be found. Today I stood infront of the key cutting machine for 10 min (19 March 2021 1415-1425). I had atleast 3 employees walk past me, 2 chatting and 1 staring at the floor. Last time I stand around home depot looking for help. Kent and Canadian tire for all my purchases now.

If you need some pre cut wood. The guy who runs the saw is great! He managed to get a 1.5 " piece of pine split down the middle on his vertical table saw. Above and beyond.

Great and friendly service. Helped me to find what I was looking for right away, shortly after entering the store. Love it.

Was in just before the COVID19 hit. Tried three different employees to find someone to help me find someone and it was almost impossible. Staff playing hide and seek, then couldn’t be bothered. Finally found a guy named Bob who was nice enough to make up for the first three, and he was not only helpful, he made sure someone got me checked out. Why is only one person there interested in actually doing their job? I would go back to him without question, but the rest of the staff is worthless.

Great service from everyone here. Ive never had a bad experience. I cant recall the paint guys name, kenny i think? He is literally the very best in the city for recommending certain paints depending on what you are doing. He hasnt let me down yet.

The staff is always great and helpful. Price is good and lots of variety. My big complaint about this store is that it is consistently difficult to get someone to answer the phone in a department. Several times I have given up after multiple attempts and time wasted.
I am sure that a more efficient way to answer calls can be implemented as other stores are not this bad to contact. Sometimes I have to give up trying to call and just drive there. Something that I never need to do at any of the other home improvement stores.

Home Depot has different items than other local home renovation supply stores, great price on interior 6 Pannell doors $37.99+ tax

Loved it! Plenty of help available, bought a great fireplace I saw online and went into the store to buy and overnight it was on sale for $50 less. Happy customer here.

Super knowledgeable staff! I'm so grateful for all the help and advice. With such a great team in your corner any project is a piece of cake.
