We were not able to see any optical illusion. As a matter of fact we were driving backwards down the hill in neutral position (no up the hill, no driving forward, no magnetism). Would not recommend to go there.
Bizarre and questionable attraction that has long attracted tourists and curious Canadians and around which a small theme park for children has been built. It goes without saying that it is a tourist trap, this can be understood immediately. Even the lonely planet suggests it between the lines. The fact is that you pay 7 dollars to place the car in a sort of asphalt valley/hill consisting of an uphill followed by a downhill. If you put the car in neutral uphill, it will go backwards for obvious reasons and then continue its run due to inertia on the downhill, giving you - according to the idea of the person selling you the ticket - the impression of being attracted by a mysterious force that pushes the car. In reality the only mysterious force is the one that pushes you to pay the entrance fee for the biggest bullshit in the world that I do not recommend to anyone.
