The Music Barn

They were great to deal with, very accommodating wouldn't have had my wedding anywhere else, they even do the clean up and there's option to stay over night.

I had my wedding September 24th (Hurricane Fiona Day) and the music barn was amazing to deal with! The stress of a wedding is a lot on its own but add on a hurricane and its so much worst! Johnathan and Stacey were without a doubt the calm during my storm and were so helpful suggestions of where to go with indoor, areas to take pictures, getting in early to beat the storm and keeping me updated on changes of weather in the area. It was the most magical day and I could not have done it without them, it was most definitely a day to remember! The staff, location, decor, and area were excellent!

My husband and I were married at The Sackville Music Barn in October, and the experience was wonderful. The day of was incredible, and went off without a hitch. Stacey and Jonathan were responsive, flexible, and always professional, and went out of their way to accommodate any and all requests. I cannot recommend Music Barn enough!

Stacey and Jonathan had the perfect venue for our wedding! We had no clean up which was great, and were super accommodating and easy to work with. Definitely a great spot for a wedding!

Wonderful venue for a band, acoustics were great, organized, welcoming, and Lennie Gallant & his band were Amazing. He even commented on how he loved the Music Barn & would consider doing a live album there, can't get better than that. Had a blast, sooo good-️️️️️️

Attended a wedding here and the venue was charming, but I’m very disappointed to read these reviews. It sounds like the owners are not doing a great job with management and communication.

Rustic outfit, great for weddings or other large gatherings. Place to put up tents, and spacious place to park.

Beautiful venue. Great owners. Superb service and incredible views. My brother gets married there tomorrow and it's just a perfect spot.

Took advantage of someone during the pandemic, and kept their deposit from them and used terrible excuses. Will never consider using this venue.

The way this Venue is treating their customers during a PANDEMIC is just devastating. Even if you just want to change the date, and pay a generous fee for the "inconvenience" it will be DENIED.this is already such a hard time for Canadians. I encourage everyone thinking about booking this venue to reevaluate & read the reviews. I would not take my chances and neither will anyone I know.

They didn't care for all the negative comments being left on their Facebook page, so they deleted it. DO NOT BOOK YOUR VENUE HERE! This pandemic has been hard on everyone, but these people will only make it harder. Keep your money and look elsewhere. Save yourself the headache.

If I could give zero stars I would. I booked my wedding PRE Covid-19 and was so excited to be able to find a venue in my home town that could accommodate exactly what I wanted for my day. I wish I would have known what I know now about how unreasonable the owners of this establishment are. I simply asked for my $1300 deposit to be transferred to a different date because the province I live in has been in a complete lockdown that will continue into June, giving me not enough time to try and get things ready for the beginning of August. I offered to pay a reasonable fee for the inconvenience of changing the date and in return I was met with a message stating that if I wanted to change my date I would have to pay another $1300 or if I was to cancel I would not be getting a refund. After going public on social media the amount of messages pouring in from past, present and future brides who have had nothing but issues with this establishment is so heart breaking to me. To be clear I did sign a contract in January 2020 and knew the deposit was non-refundable but with a global pandemic you would think this business would try to work with its customers. DO NOT I repeat DO NOT book your wedding at this venue. Do yourself a favor and find a venue that will make your day magical.

Very unfortunate situation that could have been handled in a much more professional and understanding way. Times are hard as it is living with a Pandemic and the fact that the owners are making it that much more difficult for future Bride/Grooms is saddening. The couple was not asking for a refund, nor trying to cancel with this establishment but simply requested to transfer their booking to another day, to which they were offered an additional $ amount to accommodate this request but was denied and then told that there is no way to transfer dates, that another $1300 would need to be paid to rebook. This is unacceptable and unfair.

Would not recommend anyone to get married here. Had a very bad experience dealing with the owners during COVID-19. They were asking for an additional deposit (which is half the amount of the venue) even though we already paid it earlier. They advised me that they already emailed me letting me know they require "extra money" to secure our spot (which we already secured) and I never received the email. They were NOT accommodating during the pandemic and they were just trying to grab extra money from my fiancee and I. The lady we dealt with was very rude. I know I wasn't they only one who experienced this "service" with the Music Barn. Very disappointing considering we were excited to get married in Sackville where we first met, and we ended up changing venues because of the service we received from the Music Barn. Would NOT recommend anyone to get married here.
