Took over an hour to get our order while other patrons seated for 20 minutes got their order 5 minutes after we did.

The waitress was extremely friendly. The food was all of finest quality. The seafood pasta was so delicious. The best pasta I've ever had in my life. The seafood itself was very fresh. The workers were also all professional and nice. Nice hummingbirds outside the window. Pad Thai was good too for a restaurant not specialized in Thai food.

Best food we had while on our vacation in New Brunswick! The scallops were absolutely amazing, and the salmon was the best I’d ever had. Had a beautiful view. Service was a little slow, but very worth it.

This restaurant is painfully below average. The decor is dated, and does not take advantage of the stunning views outside the window. The service is friendly but the kitchen quickly becomes paralyzed with even the slightest pressure. Other tables who came in after us had ate three courses and paid before we had our appetizer; It took 50 minutes for our appetizer to show up, with mains appearing at 1 hour and ten minutes. We were a table of two, and restaurant was at 60% capacity, if that.

Overall not the worst restaurant I’ve ever been to (the food was actually quite good, and the waitress was trying her best) but the service and wait time ruined it, and wasted our evening. The prices are higher than the other restaurants, for no good reason than cashing in on tourists. The drink menus are lazy - just printed on computer paper, and full of spelling mistakes. Disappointing.

There are better, more comfortable dining experiences in Alma.

Loved it. First time in Alma and we had a really good experience at this restaurant. Check out the crab cakes with blueberry salad, or the chicken burger. Will be going back for sure. Fast, friendly service, nice view as well!

The man who answered the phone is the same voice on the answering machine, so I have to conclude that he is either the manager or the owner. Extremely rude, very impatient. Happy to spend my money elsewhere. There are lots of choices.

We had breakfast here this morning and it was very nice. We sat by the front windows where there are humming bird feeders on the windows outside! Cool watching all the hummingbirds flying around!

First time in new Brunswick for my husband and I. Asked a friend who has lived in this area for a while for the best lobster restaurant, and he recommended tides in Alma. He wasn't wrong; hands down best lobster in town. Service was awesome. And staff are pretty great. Met the owner also; he is duper friendly. FOOD WAS FANTASTIC!

The crab cakes were quite bland despite being 8$ a piece. I liked the lobster dip more, it was decent but still had its issues being loaded up with cheese so the seafood was overpowered

My main issue was the manager or owner (not sure which) yelling at & insulting her wait staff in front of the whole dining room. Made me quite uncomfortable and feel bad for the workers.

Words can't explain how great they are. We had my service dog so they offered the outside deck of the restaurant. They brought water for her.

This place is a hidden gem! The staff were amazing, the view is amazing and most of all the food was amazing! Highly recommend the chicken stuffed with lobster dish, it was done to perfection! So many delicious options on their menu I can't wait to go back!

I didn’t actually got to the tides restaurant, just to the little stand next to it. I got the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough ice cream. It was okay, but it had a caramel-y taste in it. I did not like that very much. Our waiter was a teenager who had one AirPod in his ear and couldn’t hear us. The atmosphere was ok. Right outside by the fish so it smelled bad. Not that good of a place.

Great service, super waiters, great food (had the surf and turf, shared, enough for two) plus a side of delicious fried clams. Watching the hummingbirds at the feeders just added to the atmosphere. Dinner for two with wine and tax, UNDER $100!

It was a good experience, first time eating in Alma. We chose Tides because we stayed overnight in the adjoining motel. Food arrived nice and hot and was delicious. Smokehouse burger was delicious but dry, had to wash it with water, but would order it again. Wife's brisket donair was perfectly tasty and juicy. Service was excellent, but some new staff for the summer that needed some patient customers, which we were more than happy to be. Our server was awesome! My personal opinion was that the restaurant needed dimmer lights and more stuff, a lot of drywall and voices echoed like in an auditorium. All in all I'd say pretty good for the season just starting.

Not fancy but the seafood pasta could be served in the finest restaurant. Great service too
