Spectacular! The quality of the food is top notch. Lovely learning about how much is sourced locally and prepared from scratch on premise or from the community. Looking forward to being back.

Lobster Poutine, say no more, yummy, it was fabulous. Sat on the patio, great service, wonderful view, will go back for sure.

The worst dining experience we have had in ages. We arrived around sunset, and they said the outside seating was closed, which was fine since it was already cold. They sat us in the back corner of a platform area used as a stage, it was so dark we needed our phone lights to read the menu. We were already swatting mosquitoes before the flies moved in landing on our heads and hands. When the waitperson came over and I asked about a menu item she asked me to turn my light back on so she could see the menu. I finally located the light switches and turned on the lights.

My wife had the Seafood Chowder which was more like potato soup with a few bits of scallop and no lobster or mussels. I had the beef short rib which was so overcooked it was off the bone, which they threw on the too-small plate anyway to prove it had been a rib. It came with ear of corn without butter or salt on the table. The waitperson upsold me on the Boujie Fries which were mushy and lacked flavor, and the garlic aioli was only a side of plain mayo. I asked the server, also the person acting as the host, for butter and salt for the corn and he said it was applied in the kitchen – clearly not, and walked away. After some time, I finally got our waitperson’s attention, and she brought some rock hard butter and salt and tried to butter the now cold corn.

We were swarmed by flies the entire meal with them crawling on our hands on landing on our heads. The food was mediocre, the atmosphere worse, and the service was slow. Stay away from this disappointing dining experience.

Lunch on the patio was perfect. Dill pickle Caesars, best lobster dip we’ve ever had and the street corn blew our minds. Wife had the fish tacos, I went with the Kool burger. Top shelf. Friendly, fast service. Took the scenic route to Hopewell Rocks from there. Highly recommend.

The amount of lobster in my $30 lobster roll was minuscule, big mistake ordering this. My sons Alfredo pasta was $5 extra for 4 pieces of chicken, my wife’s $18 quinoa dish left a lot to be desired in size and taste for the price. On the plus side, other members of our group got the fish and chips and loved it as well as the fish tacos. The street corn was indeed legit Mexican style street corn and tasted awesome, and if the cojita cheese wasn’t authentic, I was fooled, corn was also properly seasoned, just wish it came with two pieces.

I would go here again for the fish and chips and corn. Service was just okay, never offered to get us more drinks or if the food was ok, just basic service.

My partner and I stopped for the view over a tide-out Fundy bay. Felt hungry and welcomed by the pride flag out front, we walked in to the warmth and charm. It was quaint, clean, and tastefully decorated, the food was damn delicious, and Hailey was a wonderful host. We shared boujie fries, the best quinoa bowl i’ve ever had, and my first lobster roll. The bun was toasted and the meat must have just come off the boat out back. 10/10

The food was deliciously executed and the menu was so original. The "boogie fries" are awesome! ️ Heck. They even deep-fry the parsley before sprinkling it on! That's a classy (and sinful) touch.

Went there waited at the door for 10min then was seated inside and waited forever no one came to ask us if we want a drink or anything, so we went some ware else. Also the house flies in the restaurant was enough to make anyone want to leave. First time there ever and will never go back.

Really excellent meal at Typsy Tails. The service was excellent as was the craft brew and the scallops, chowder and house made pate were all outstanding!

Wonderful seaside restaurant with great staff, tasty unique food, and a perfect patio. Kids enjoyed their meals too.

Fantastic food. Amazing lobster roll and they had a special green curry mussels - outstanding! Great kids meal options. Our server was hilarious, I wish I remembered his name - we appreciated his east coast charm. The view is stunning from the back patio! Highly recommend if you are passing through Alma.

5 star service, food, location. Staff was sooo friendly and kind; told us about the tides and gave me a blanket for the patio! They were also very kind to our dog food was AMAZING; chowder was the best I’ve had in the months of vacationing we’ve done from Newfoundland to Nova Scotia to here. Good choice of seafood, potatoes were perfectly tender (they used red) and flavour was impeccable. Caesar was also one of the best I’ve had. Phenomenal. Would recommend to anyone.

Based on a 4.5-star rating on Google, we came to this place. We ordered the fish taco and pork taco. Both are small portions like appetizers. The fish in the taco was flavorless. We also ordered fish and ships and the fish was SO greasy. The burger was fine. Overall, terrible, and over-priced food. Avoid this tourist trap!

Ate outside on the deck. Seated quickly, no reservation. Really nice with view if lobster boats on the bay.

Scallop appetizer came out lukewarm, needed 30 more seconds in the microwave. Told server. Four people, one order was for short ribs. It came as a hamburger, server said he put it in wrong. Came out 10 minutes later. Big single rib shank. Server charged less for it and gave a free drink inthe end which was the right thing to do.

Food and service otherwise very good.

On our way out at 8: 30pm, the 2-man band started playing. Very LOUD for ihe inside room, but we were leaving anyway.

Overall I would recommend the restaurant, but wait if needed to sit on the deck not inside. Pet friendly.

We had eaten at Tipsy Tails twice pre-pandemic and had fond memories of their delicious lobster roll. Today's $28.00 lobster roll was a huge disappointment. They used to provide a generous amount of meat on a brioche bun, but not the case today. A bread bun and not nearly enough lobster meat to justify the price. We won't be back.

Ther food was delicious and the service friend friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend a visit.

Food delicious, service was basically nonexistent, but I really think it was our server and not all of the staff.

Great location, tasty food and nice service. Must try if you are in Alma.

Update: Visited this restaurant after one year and the food and service remains top notch. I am adding more photos to this review.

The food, the atmosphere and the drinks are all to die for but the best part about the experience every time is the staff. Always so personable and fun! My favourite restaurant to visit in the summer!

We were a party of 6, visiting in August. We sat outside and the view was spectacular. Our server was polite and cheerful.

All members of our party ordered fish and chips or the lobster rolls. The consensus on the fish was it was tasty but very greasy. The lobster roll was tiny with only a small portion of lobster. As another reviewer noted there was only one small lettuce leaf. (For the current price of $28, we expected more.)

As of note to folks traveling around Atlantic Canada, we have had consistently better luck with Lobster Rolls on PEI.
