Great place to stop along the way:) front desk was very helpful, reasonable price, clean rooms, restaurant/pub in the hotel was open late for food and drinks and very friendly staff. Better option than going further into town if you plan to hit the road again in the morning.

The rooms are ok there a bit outdated and the pillows suck but the service was friendly and the place held its purpose of a one night stay during our road trip.

I have a hard time giving a rating other than a 5. But the room we were in was to dated to justify the price. No fridge was also a bummer. I thought the sheets were thin and were just waiting to self destruct after the next wash.

Also thought the carpets in the halls hadn’t been vacuumed in awhile.

The breakfast lady was fantastic though (Monday Aug 14th)

I’ve had more food options for breakfast on other stays at hotels. No scrambled eggs or bacon served. You could get a hard boiled egg though.

Location is great as it is 30 seconds off the highway

Thought the check in guy wasn’t adhering to any formal dress code that you would expect…looked sloppy and borderline annoyed that he had to stop watching his phone for my check in at 11: 45pm

I get that Edmundston is a big travel hub, but IMO not worth the $200+ for a night, even in the summer

Horrible.its worse than a motel. No elevator. Ac was so loud. Smells like cigarettes in the hallway and rooms

After reading the reviews, I was concerned about staying at this hotel. After arriving however, I was pleasantly surprised at how clean, quiet and comfortable the beds were, very happy that the reviews that have been left were nothing like we experienced. I did not use the pool or sauna, but did partake in the breakfast and again was pleasantly surprised. The price was high for a Travelodge but after travelling for a week and staying at other hotels the price was comparable or lower. A good lesson, do not always follow what the reviews say, it is each person's experience.

We paid 239$ for a cold shower and there was nothing they could. We were not the only ones yet they didn’t seem to care. There was no elevator and the way to our room was very strange. Very dated hotel with very modern pricing. I would not recommend this hotel

Reception want us to book extra room just for one child.
We mention it on the reservation
Then cancel our booking and we had to sleep in the car

Very dated and loud so it was hard to sleep well.

Cons
- smelt bad
- you could hear people outside and in the adjacent room
- had to carry suitcase up a flight of stairs (no elevator)

Pros
- good location
- no visible mold
- toast and cold eggs was available for breakfast but that’s about it

A bit pricey but the service was friendly and attentive. The rooms although showing it’s age, everything was in good condition and clean.

Overly priced room. Not worth the money. No elevator and I have mobility issues. Put me on the 4th floor where I had to walk up all those flights. They did not even offer to help to get the luggage up. Took me 15 minutes to do it because I could only go up one flight at a time. The room smelt very musty and the whole building is completely outdated. Carpets were dirty, the ice machine didn’t work, no microwave or refrigerator in the room. Completely dissatisfied. The key cards didn’t work. We couldn’t access outside door to get in. Had to wait for someone to let us in because we had to use the back door and to walk around the front would have been too hard on me. Once inside and I made it up the 4 flights my key card would not let me access the room. I had to wait for my friend to come back up and her card worked. The breakfast was satisfactory (the only good thing about the hotel)

Thanks to our hosts Ayman and Meriem for a great night before we headed off to Nova Scotia! Much needed for the route towards NFLD ‘23

The options in Edmunston were limited, so Travelodge it was, not sure that I would return. This is by no means a luxury hotel and we weren't expecting that, however, at more than $200/night, we expected a whole lot more (yes, I read the reviews beforehand). When booking a motel, I know what I am looking for and my expectations are not crazy. The staff and service were great all around, mind you the rooms and the pool area were not. This place is very dated, which is totally fine, you're there for a stopover. The room we stayed in had a massive piece of ply wood bolted to the ceiling above our bed, just a slight eye sore. The a/c units, as described in other reviews, do work however you need to keep the blinds open the entire time otherwise they cover the cold air coming into the unit. The pool and hot tub were very cloudy and we were unable to see the deep end of the pool. Would we stay again, maybe in a pinch but I think that we might stop elsewhere. The price point is ridiculous for this place. Bring down the price and we could understand.

Chain was in insolvency in 2020 for a reason. We stopped here because we had to. Almost $300 per night. Old and rundown with hard working staff to deal with constant issues with access cards not working, lights out in many areas and absolutely no AC in hallways or common areas. Sweltering in the rooms with 20+ year old units trying to cool them. Kids slept on floor to get to a little cooler area. Windows do not open. Continental breakfast was ok but again so hot you couldn't drink a coffee at 7am. Might be a bit better in the winter if they have adequate heating but this place seems to be in a nose dive. Lesson learned in one night.

Unfortunately, this hotel has a two star rating for a reason.
The wi-fi and digital cable access is sporadic, the rooms and hallways smell of stale cigarettes, and the free breakfast is very sparce.
The highline of our stay was the staff. From the front desk staff to the maid service, very pleasant and welcoming.

I've never been so disappointed about a motel in my entire life. The rooms have a musty smell. The towels are very tiny and thin. The indoor pool had over 80 bugs in it and the hot tub was very cloudy and gray. Very outdated, overpriced rooms and also terribly bulky pillows, they were actually cheap rectangular pillows stuffed into a square pillowcase so y'all can just imagine how uncomfortable it was.

Nice hotel conveniently close to highway and proximity to restaurants and shopping. Great breakfast! Friendly staff, very busy at 3pm check-in.

I should have taken the bed home with me, it was that comfortable. Friendly staff and good food.
