Travelodge Suites by Wyndham Moncton

The rooms here are very nice and affordable. Very clean and the staff is very friendly. The free breakfast is absolutely amazing. They have a fresh omelet bar and scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, sausage, fresh pancakes and cereals. The customer service is second to none. I would reccomend coming here for your stay. I will definitely be back here on my next visit

Price was more than quoted, room had strong smoke smell, staff were suppose to come fix door and didn’t, after three trips to front desk they told me they couldn’t remember the room number and they finally gave us the option to move to another room, it smelled really bad of cigarettes smoke.orange juice for breakfast was brown and tasted horrible, lobby area was filthy from the tracking of ice and snow and was never wiped up all weekend, we were out and in at early and late hours and same trash was still on floor for the two days we were there

Very clear room & very quiet & very good living room for family travelers, breakfast is fine, we could get hot water & hot coffee in the lobby anytime. We’d love to stay. The receptionist lady helped to print our PCR test reports, she was so nice.

Absolutely horrible service tried to use the phone but there was no cord connected to the hotel phone in the room… tried to talk to front desk however the avoided any situation. Room smelt like urine and bed/bedsheets were dirty, we tried the A/C unit in the room however it congested all three individuals that stayed in the room we proceeding to turn it off and check it in the morning it was full of ash from cigarettes/food crumbs/dust as well as dirt we mentioned it to front desk they proceeded to say “yeah we’ll check it out”… not worth 170$

This has been our go-to spot when we wanted to get a little getaway to Moncton, and I feel like every time we go there, it's worse and worse. I'm always drawn to the low price and the thought of "Maybe this time will be different". Sadly, no.

This visit was the worst. The place is very dark. Our room smelled funny. The couch looked like a yard sale throw-away. Dated, would be polite. The paint was peeling off of the bathroom walls. We had no face cloths, only 2 pillows, and no extra blanket. Staff was able to bring those things quickly, but why were they missing in the first place?

This was the final straw for us. We will pay a little more to stay somewhere else next time.

My recent stay on New Year’s Eve was as horrible there was a dirty bandaid on the ground the sheets where dirty the towel had a dirty hand prints on them there was a dirty ice bucket in the freezer of the fridge then when I tell them they tell me I can change rooms but to a smaller one which I’m not paying for a smaller room and then they tell me to contact management by email so I do and they say they can’t refund me my money cause I didn’t take the smaller room … this place is very unprofessional and I don’t recommend this place to no one

Had room booked through Priceline, got a call from priceline the hotel over booked, the night before our booking on labor day weekend, sound like greed to me, stayed there before was not impressed with service. Gave it another shot, but never again, terrible

Great value and location directly off the highway. The staff are extremely pleasant and willing to assist in any way. Very refreshing to see this kind of service

A very convenient location, but the staff do not seem to care about the outside of the property. They allow guests to smoke, drink and curse outside the drive up rooms. I called the front desk to complain, the answer was, I am busy but will look after it, but the noise still went on for another 45 minutes.

Booked a room for family, spent 2 weeks trying to get ahold of mangment to get an authorization form, had to send a local friend in to get it. "Staff was off putting and didnt seem happy to get me the form"
Authorization form was Emailed and Faxed to the location days prior to stay and faxed again same day because i couldnt get ahold of anyone to provide confirmation they recieved it
Apon arrival they faild to use Authorized CC and demanded guest put on CC for incidentals, confirming CC on file would cover the stay.only to find out later my guest was charged for there stay.
I spend over 150 days a year in hotels, I have never had these challenges with a hotel from this chain or otherwise and would never suggest someone stay at this location.

I honestly wish i could put zero stars. Tried to scam us. They told us they had a pool we arrived and they apparently didn't have one, plus it was 300$ for one night. Horrible customer service they were extremely rude. When we got home they continually. Kept calling us saying that someone stole money from our account. We called visa to see if any transactions were made, and none were made. DO NOT STAY AT THIS PLACE

Room is clean and serviceable, with basic amenities. Common areas have a musty smell, like an old building. Housekeeping said they don’t schedule regular room cleaning, despite us being there 5 days. Not someplace I would recommend staying in unless you’re on a budget.

Filthy. Grim. Unreliable. Gave our room away with no warning or notice. We ended up sleeping in our CAR. Turned out every hotel in Moncton, Fredericton & Saint John was sold out. Our guess: they gave our room to someone who paid 2-3x more than the price we'd booked at a month in advance.
Probably for the best: sleeping in a car is better than bringing bed bugs home in our luggage.
You could tell from the lobby that cleaning was not a priority.
Worst part: when we called Wyndham for help they said they would do nothing for us because we booked through a "third party" - CAA!
As Seinfeld likes to say, they're good taking reservations. They're just not good at keeping reservations.

THIS HOTEL IS HORRIBLE! If you’re expecting a regular hotel with usual hotel services, look elsewhere! It’s dirty, everywhere! Rooms, hallways, lobby, eating area, outside. Clearly nobody takes pride in this place. Our room wasn’t ready when we arrived for checking at 6pm! Then it was still dirty. And there were no towels so we had to get our own. You have to get your own towels, when they’re available.

There was no blanket/duvet on the bed. Had to get it ourselves and make the bed the next day.

Clearly understaffed and nobody really cares. This place is disgusting. The breakfast is horrible, ran out of dishes and nobody was looking after it.

This was just a horrible experience. I don’t even know what else to say. Gross!

The first sign of trouble was walking in to find two guests at the counter, both with problems. Despite being after the 3 pm check in, we were told the room was not ready and to "go somewhere else" for 40 minutes. After the 40 minutes, with still no room ready, and the smirking clerk not to concerned about it. I evaluate services for a living, and this presents a very poor image for Travelodge.

Never answered front desk phone, called 3 times, went down and she was sitting there at the computer not busy.
Rooms were not cleaned, found loose change on the floor. Computer chair with flaking leather.
Was given a single pillow, when I asked for more I was told, with a roll of the eyes, the entire hotel only has 2 extra pillows and a guest already took them.
Rude and inhospitable while checking in.
Their “breakfast” was cereal and toast.

Please under no circumstances stay here. They are incredibly understaffed, the entire building smells of smoke, the hallway carpet hasn't been clean in what looks like years (dirt, stains, dust bunnies, and full sized mints stuck to the floor), the room itself was unclean, a couple pieces of toilet paper left, closet door fell completely off the hinged when I went to open it, the most disgusting carpet stains I have ever seen, all the doors looked kicked in… After seeing our room we immediately cancelled and booked a new hotel. We are hoping for a refund. Please do not stay here - cleaning standards are the worst I’ve ever seen.

Booked a room online prepaid for it and everything and had a confirmation number, showed up the day of to check in and they said that they couldn’t find my reservation and that there were no rooms left available and it will take 5-7 business days for me to receive my money back. Very disappointed.

While the bed and bathroom were clean, the place is in terrible condition. It was late and we really needed a place to stay the night. Thought all Travelodge were fairly nice but this is a dump. They put a $100 damage dep on our card (now that's a red flag) and said it would be removed in the morning. The invoice in the morning made no mention of the deposit and when questioned, the clerk said it's just automatic. That isn't the way to do business. Don't charge and not record it. Now we have to check our card and be sure. Don't stay here. Take caution in other Travelodge.

Location is great. And that’s pretty much all, two nights stayed here. Room was not cleaned prior to our arrival. Hair was all over the bathroom floor and in the towels. Food on the carpet, no duvet / blanket on the bed. There were no towels available. Hallways were dirty with garbage everywhere. Don’t stay here

Very bad experience. NOT RECOMMENDED at all.

1. No towels in the room. I checked at front feet and he gave me face towels as there is no more body towels available
2. The garbage bin was full of garbage from previous guest
3. Hair dryer is not working
4. The WiFi is not able to connect seems like not working at all
5. When we entered the room, it smelled like a smoking room

Just checked in to hour room, very dirty, floor not vacumed. Smells really damp in the room, very dirty toilet, mouldy shower curtains, no towels in the room. First impressions are not really good when you enter the hotel strong smell of cigarette. Too bad i cant find anything else because i would of give the key back, never coming back anymore. Definitely not covid 19 safe at all! Dont recommend to stay in a dump like that!

We ended up leaving once we got to the room. It was dirty, no towels, hair everywhere in the bathroom and the smell was aweful.

We even witnesses someone smoking in the hotel. It was disgusting and would not recommend this hotel at all!

This was the most disgusting place that I ever stayed in. As soon as you entered the room the smelll of urine was throughout. The old furniture was something from the 70’s that smelled. We would not even take off our shoes. The curtains were half hanging off the rod. This place should be closed down or pay people to stay there. I would not even stay for the free breakfast as it was a very dirty environment.

Endroit insalubre, odeur de cigarette aussitôt arrivé à l'entrée. Mauvais service, aucune serviette dans notre chambre. Plancher et tapis pas nettoyer, salle de bain désuet (eau chaude inverser avec l'eau froide, vanité année 80, rideaux de douche moisi). Je pourrais continuer longtemps.

Room was clean but furniture was horrible. Shower tiles are all cracked and glued together and the ceiling is water logged from shower steam from previous guests. Complimentary breakfast was nothing, cereal no milk and 1 toaster for all guests. Suppose to start at 6: 30 went at 6: 45 and still settling up and they had to send someone to buy milk lol. I'd never stay here again.

Everything was very poor from cleaning, breakfast, services. Dirt every where.the hotel and my room smells bad.the juice was like a water with color, cereal looks old, potato you can't eat it! They took too much money for nothing! I totally regret it and will Never come back.the problems is the owner have lots of hotels like this, he doesn't care about nothing just take the money of people that's call stealing for me.

The room was clean and smelled nice. Clean bathroom, clean bedding, clean towels.

Older TV, poor lighting in the room (no above head lights at all). The guidebook was so old it still had crystal palace in it. I don't think it's been updated in the last 15 years.

Did not try the breakfast. Poor selection and location of vending machines for late night snacks.

L’hôtel est désuet et surtout très sale. En fait, c’est plus que sale, c’est « crotté ». De l’extérieur on voit bien que c’est délabré et c’est guerre mieux en dedans.
Ne faites pas l’erreur de réserver ici.

It would be extremely difficult to find more unaccomodating accomidations. Staff displayed exemplary disdainful disinterest in dealing with any remote version of customer service. Advice: avoid this exasperating place.

Merely ok!
Most importantly, the bed was comfy. However I feel like there was lacking cleaning in the room (hairs, stains, smells). Also, the hot breakfast really is slim - old eggs and potatoes. Overall, it looks a little run down.
Generally speaking, it’s ok. I probably wouldn’t stay there again

My husband and myself attended the Moncton hotel July 22/22. What a dump! I don’t understand why the health department has not closed this hotel. Obviously, the state of this hotel has not happened over night. We paid $192.76 for a room that was dirty, smelly and old. The hallways, the lobby, the elevator were full of debris. We would not consider eating in the lobby, once I saw the kitchen and a staff member picking up a kitchen utensil off the dirty floor and putting it back in the eggs.
We were stuck. We tried to talk to Marcel (reception) about a refund but there was a line of furious customers ahead of us.
I will never stay on any other Wyndham property if this is what I should expect.

This hotel is FILTHY, not maintained & extremely short staffed.
-garbage PILED up at front entrance (not just a day’s worth)
-entrance/breakfast room- absolutely filthy…floors had food on them at 8pm…can’t believe they can serve food & pass inspections
-no towels
-no bedding for pull out
-in laws pull out was dirty- not convinced room was cleaned
-gave us last pillow, offered to put a blanket in pillowcase
-stairs hadn’t been vacuumed in probably a year
- had Xmas decor up in lobby in July
- hallways littered with broken chairs, laundry hampers, cots
-black out curtains pulled down
-front desk guy was EXCEPTIONAL & very apologetic, admitted they are very short staffed.
-room itself was ok but I am not convinced it has been cleaned
-asked to talk to manager as I could see her in office, he begged me not to as she works 24/7 & is very busy/stressed
-paid over $200

They cancelled the same day at almost 9 pm. They left me with my family and 2 kids with no place to sleep. What is wrong with these people
