Yes, it was the worst deal with them. They have very bad employees.

I rented a 10' box truck. I tried renting one from mountain rd and the staff there very clearly wanted to be anywhere else but there. When I was ready to pay at mountain rd they advised me it was north of $500. Earlier that morning I had called what I thought was mountain rd location and must have got redirected to main st location, but the manager picked up. I explained that I probably need to cancel my reservation because $500+ was alot more than I was anticipating. The manager said no problem what are you planning to move. Long story short he listened to my problem offered me a much better option and honestly I had a great experience. He kept a customer from going somewhere else. That's smart business. The gentleman who helped me at the store was very nice as well. I would rent from this location again.

Booked a truck rental online and received a confirmation email stating the total due at pick up was approx $40. I searched through the FAQs on their website to ensure I could complete the pick-up with my debit card only and to see if there was anything else required of me to do so. The answer was yes I could and stated nothing more.
When I arrived to pickup the truck I was advised I needed to leave a $125 deposit when paying with a debit card. I inquired as to why this information wasn't on the confirmation email or noted in the FAQs allowing customers to be informed and prepared. He just kept reiterating that it was a mandatory deposit. It was just frustrating that they wouldn't advise their customers of this mandatory deposit in advance.

Thank you for NOT replying to ANY of my calls after I confirmed I was going to this appointment.
When I made the first contact, Brian answered and we had a great conversation about what I needed. He then told me someone would be calling the next day to confirm the date, parts and service (his name is Trevor). Trevor never called me, so I called and somebody else told me he was going to tell Trevor to call me the next day for sure! Trevor did NOT call me at all - Then Sunday was gone, Monday was gone and Tuesday I decided to call and explain what was happening. The person I talked to (Lauren) just asked me if I wanted to cancel everything; Well, I called to find out what was going on, but since NO calls were made to me for a week and now I had this rep not worried about solving the problem, but instead just offering to CANCEL everything, thats what I did! I am not doing ANYTHING with U-Haul any longer and dont recommend this lack of professionalism to anyone.
