Vista Ridge

This place was amazing! The cottage was spotless, with a well-stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. The cottage had an incredible view of the bay, within walking distance of shops and restaurants and a few minutes drive from Fundy National Park. Nick was extremely friendly and helpful. Thanks for an excellent stay!

Except for two years lost to covid, our family has been returning to Vista Ridge every year for more than a decade. Over the years we’ve managed to stay in all the cottages. They are all well maintained, well equipped and updated regularly. Nick and his family are wonderful hosts and are always available.
When our kids were young, they loved flying kites from the ridge, running around and cooking hot dogs and roasting marshmallows over the fire pit. As teenagers, they enjoyed walking through town, exploring the beautiful Fundy Park, going to music festivals put on by local performers and swimming in the park’s heated saltwater swimming pool.
Our kids are in college now and this year was our first vacation without them. Though they were missed, it was nice just sitting on our cottage’s porch, reading a book and watching the Fundy tide roll in and out.

Our experience was pretty much perfect. Looking around at the other cabin rentals and lodging in the area, I actually think Vista Ridge has the nicest cabins with the best location and most expansive, beautiful views. Nick is so nice, helpful, and available, and the cabin was quiet and just really sweet with gorgeous views right out the front windows. It wasn't only clean and nicely appointed-it was also charming and tasteful, small while also having an open floorplan and feeling spacious. We felt so happy as soon as we arrived. Very grateful for our stay there.

The owner is really helpful. Provied us with a travel map and some suggestions regarding eating when we checked in. When I tried to start a camp fire but couldn't fine any matches，the owner drove to the site without any hesitation and even brought me several marshmallow sticks! Really enjoyed our gateway long weekend there and 100% recommended!

This was our second visit to Vista Ridge for some hiking and relaxation. The view and close proximity to Fundy National Park make Vista Ridge a wonderful weekend stay location. The cabins have all the amenities, beds are comfy! Spend time at the picnic tables and front step to enjoy the incredible views. The nearby shops and pubs were wonderful as well.

We stayed in one of the lofts. It was very comfortable, clean, well decorated, and the view from the balcony was beautiful. Our hosts were very accommodating. We would love to go back.

Nick was an amazing host. If you are looking to spend some time exploring the Bay of Fundy this is the place to stay. Within walking distance to walk along the Bay and watch the tide come in and out. The town of Alma has a ton of great restaurants and shops and a small general store. However, grocery stores are quite far away, so I suggest you stop at one on your way in. The cabin is super clean and has everything you need. It was a perfect set up for our family of four. The view was amazing and we were super comfortable in the cabin. Nick was very attentive to all of our needs. It was a short drive to the Fundy National park and to Cape Enrage. Hopewell rocks is only 40minutes away as well. A perfect spot.
