Customer retention is definitely not their priority after a sale! We own a 2017 vehicle with under 80,000 km with a known Turbo (wastegate actuator) issue that neither the dealer or VW Canada was willing to assist us with by offering a $675 credit on the replacement on a $4000 cost to replace a turbo for something they're perfectly aware of since the service rep told me they've had to repair numerous of these, and yet VW is unwilling to honour their product. The APA of Canada is also aware of this through numerous complaints. We owned a Golf Diesel prior to this which we traded because of the whole dieselgate fiasco. If anyone is on the fence about VW quality and service, learn from us!

I got the #2 Detail package and my car came back spotless from the inside-out. Huge thank you to Nathan and the amazing team in service. Detailers did a great job.

Nathan helped us in Moncton.and we were very relieved to have our car looked at so quickly as we did not have an appt.
Andrew in service dept in Charlottetown at Brown's VW was helpful and very polite. We ended up chancing driving w our check engine light on and headed back to NB. We ended up going to the VW dealership in Moncton so we would be closer to family in case there was a serious issue w our car. However, Andrew was very accommodating given the timing of our arrival! If it wasn't our last day on PEI, we would have waited for service. But a huge thank you to Moncton VW!

They were very kind and professional. I felt like I didn't have to worry about a thing!

I could write a long review, but it's just not worth it. Don't use this dealership if you would like to avoid headaches and disappointment. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Good if you're driving a new car under warranty. If not, they will overcharge you for every part/service needed on your Volkswagen. For exemple, I was priced 1000$ for a windshield at Volkswagen, and had it fixed at another garage in town for 400$.

On multiple occasions Iv dealt with one of their service members Justin Nash. He’s always been more than helpful every time iv had my car in the shop.

The assistant service manager, Mr Corey mesh, is a great guy, efficient and helpful, a gentleman.

While on vacation from out if province, we called VW Moncton on route from Miramichi with a flat tire emergency. They managed to get the correct low profile tire from elsewhere in Moncton for our GTI. We got squeezed in their full day, and they changed the donut tire to the new one and washed the car to boot! All this done in one hour upon getting there. Very pleased with the service!

I’m three years into my first Volkswagen and I do love my car. However what has been a great surprise is the service I get at the Moncton dealership. In particular the sr service advisor “Joly”. She is a true professional that in on top of her game. I truly appreciate her attention to detail and her knowledge of the business.

Amazing service staff is very helpful make you feel at home. Just bought a used truck from them (ram) had issues no questioned asked fixed it and gave me a truck to use while being repaired, great service I recommend anyone in buying a vehicle go to Volkswagen moncton ask foe Kyle or zach

Went there expecting to buy a pre-owned SUV. My own first vehicle in canada. I had exceptional service from them. Adam and Gillian explained things well how would everything go.where I am still learning things. Lots of things are still new to me.

I was been refuced by several dealerships due to being a new comer and not having a long steady credit history. Been only 4 months in Canada. Having credit inquiries quite a lot on my credit file made the search more challenging. When i talked to Gillian what I specially asked was is only to go through one Lender and to see I will get pre-approved. She got me approved.

Finally I was pre-Approved up to a certain loan limit and Volkswagen Moncton however got me the SUV i was in search or and the financing as well. Although I Had to put down almost 50% I was ok with it.
So i could recommend specially for newcomers to have a chat with them about your situation and they would be able to do the best they can.

7 liters of transmission fluid cost me $340 today. Just the fluid no labour. That's all you need to know about owning a VW LOL. Staff were great though.

The most shameful experience ever. After finding a vehicle that I was interested in I asked about having the engine bay cleaned. The request was denied. The dealership didn't have anyone with the experience to clean an engine bay as they didn't want to damage the engine in any way. OK? Next I asked if there was a cash discount to which I was told that actually I would have to pay $700 more as the price included a financing discount. After making the decision to buy I went with the financing to save the $700.

A couple days later I’m at the dealership going through the sales invoice and there were 2 fees on the invoice I questioned Zach about. The first were the PPSA fees that were $160. I asked Zach why these fees were so much higher than the fee schedule specified at service NB. I was told that’s what the bank charged nothing to do with the dealership. Didn’t really know if that was accurate so I agreed to the fee. The second fee was an etching fee. I asked why I was being charged this fee and that’s where everything went south. I was told that everyone pays this fee to which I replied these fees were not correct and I shouldn't have to pay them. After going back and forth I relented and agreed to pay this fee as the wheel lugs on the vehicle were rusted and they agreed to replace them so I figured it was a wash. Deal done. OH NO

Now this is where it gets really shameful. Here comes the finance guy. Once I sit down in his office. I bring up the etching fee and tell him that I really don’t appreciate the fees the dealership has added. He immediately goes into pushy mode insisting I have to pay for this, he’s been in this business for 10 years and all dealerships make the buyer pay. “Someone has to pay the people that do this job”. At this point I remind him I already agreed to pay but we both know this fee wasn't appropriate so really I shouldn’t have to pay for it. The finance guy was not stopping making some ridiculous analogy that if I bought fries and ordered a side of gravy I would have to pay for it. Hmmm not if I didn’t order it I said to which he just kept pushing you have to pay these fees.

I left his office really angered by that interaction and when I got back to work I sent a message advising I was canceling the sale as his finance guy was really pushy and I wasn’t going to deal with them due to this guy’s inability to just show a bit of empathy and close the deal, he couldn’t put his ego aside for a minute to close the deal instead he kept pushing me into why I had to pay this etching fee.

So shame on Volkswagen for pushing these inappropriate fees on consumers. Vehicles are expensive enough!

Secondly, shame on Volkswagen for using pushy tactics to push these fees on buyers. This is just a money grab.

SHAMEFUL Moncton Volkswagen

So far the best experience i had at a garage.

Before going to Volkswagen i went to 2 other garage and the work done on my car were kind of bad.
While i was waiting in the lobby for my car to be repaired, the mecanic asked me to come check a few problem with my car. Everything he told me actually made sense (because of the problem i was currently facing). I asked if i could stay in the garage with him, which he agreed to while he kept explaining me stuff (since i was interested in what he was doing).

Ended up being the best Garage experience i ever had and will probably go to Volkswagen Moncton for all of my future work, even though i come from Quebec City (Yes, it's a 800 km trip, but i come 2 to 3 time a year to New Brunswick).
I have a 2016 Jetta and never been that pleased at a garage.

The reality of owning any car is that eventually something will need to be replaced! The professionalism and attention to detail we received from Jolyanne in service this past week was amazing. Talk about going the extra mile and taking it to the next level. We really like our VW, but we love the service and attention to detail that Benoit and his team at VW Moncton provide even more. Was going to buy a car here a while ago, and found a number of issues with it, and they wanted to charge me a deposit to do the work. I understand that businesses don’t want to lose money, but almost all of the issues except for one should have already been fixed before selling, especially when the dealer tells you the car is in immaculate condition. Crack in the windshield, a big scuff on the side of the car, and oil all underneath the engine bay.and came to find out that the oil wasn’t even checked! At that point I decided that losing the deposit I left (yes I still lost money for nothing and I shouldn’t have left one to start) was better than buying the car and having issues with it. Don’t make the same mistake I made. Save your time and go to Moncton Honda or Acadia Toyota

I recently bought a Jetta from Guillaume at VW Moncton. He was extremely helpful, honest, detailed and did quick work. He was also mindful of our budget and helped us find solutions that fit our situation. Gillian in their finance department also was a class act! I recently bought a Certified Used Jetta. I couldn't believe how well we were treated. Above and beyond really. Max and Gillian were great to deal with and the whole process was a breeze despite the current Covid situation. Bravo VW Moncton! We will be back for sure when it's time to replace our other vehicle.

I do not recommend this dealership. Go out of town if you have to.

This dealership has sold me a brand new car that had an aftermarket windshield that was very poorly installed. The sales person didn't disclose this information.

This has caused a lot of issues. VW has denied warranty claims because of it, even after the dealership admitted to replacing the windshield with an aftermarket one. I've had moisture issues for years because of the poor installation.

They have refused to own up to their mistake and cover the cost of replacing the windshield, which recently cracked (the technician informed me that poor installation can make a windshield more susceptible to cracking). The GM has made it abundantly clear that he has no interest in helping me because "I've been driving the car for a few years".

VW has also refused to cover my exploded rear window their own technicians examined and determined that it was due to a manufacturing defect. This set me back about $700.

I just want VW Moncton to pay for my windshield to be replaced with an OEM one and for my rear window with the manufacturing defect that the warranty didn't cover.

I've sent an email to CBC Investigates; next on my list is the Times & Transcript and whatever other newspaper is willing to hear the story of how I got ripped off by VW Moncton. I've also submitted a report to the New Brunswick Financial and Consumer Service.

Great experience, I felt encouraged to buy the vehicle I was interested in but not pressured. They worked with me to get me what I was looking for. Very pleased with the vehicle and the staff.

On April 28th I had a bad service experience during the TDI Emissions Recall but VW Moncton has just recently came to a conclusion that is acceptable and I am satisfied. Mistakes happen and I am glad they made it right.

Excellent experience purchasing my new 2020 Tiguan Highline! I was a former VW driver for 12 years and was driving another make for the last 4 years. I came back to VW for the quality but also for the excellent service I had gotten used to (which was lacking elsewhere!). Adam and VW Moncton did not disappoint!

Zach was great and very patient. We came in and test drove 4 cars. Once we took one car out, Zach had the next one ready for us to try out. The whole staff team were super friendly and very professional. We had gone to another dealership (Hyundai) previously and we were extremely disappointed with them. Zach was motivated to help us find the right car for us. I would no doubt go back to Moncton VW to purchase a car again in the future.

I love, love, LOVE the automobile. The service done on my vehicle is great but I find myself consistently waiting longer than needed or originally quoted for repairs, service and maintenance. I have almost arrived late to work several times due to prolonged waiting. Shuttle service is limited, not meeting my work hours.

We showed up at 10: 15 am. The receptionist looked up but didn’t even seem it worthy to give us a smile, let alone a hello. At 10: 30 after 15 minutes of looking at cars, sitting in them and reviewing our options in the showroom we had yet to have a single person approach us and ask us if we’d been helped. In fact not a single person had said hello nor made eye contact.
At this point I had approached the receptionist to ask if there was a sales agent available. She said no they were helping other people but it would be a few minutes and someone would be available. By 11 am still no one, not a service agent, not the receptionist, not even a sales agent had made eye contact with us. Thats not to say the place was deserted, as in contrast it was relatively busy for a Saturday morning with people buzzing around steadily. The receptionist didn’t even bother to come talk to us and apologize for the wait, and let us know she hadn’t forgotten about us.
Now I understand them being busy, but the lack of interaction even a hello is quite frankly mind boggling. Considering I had walked in and was ready to sign on the dotted line, the lack of service has certainly made me reconsider my decision to choose a Volkswagen atlas cross sport.

A few years ago we were on a road trip of the Maritimes when we had an incident on the road. We managed to limp in to Moncton, where these wonderful folks truly went above and beyond to make us road-worthy again.

Thanks to their generosity and their creativity in sourcing parts, they had us back on the road on our original schedule, when it could have taken a couple of days out of our trip.

I had such a great experience at Volkswagen. After many many times being harassed by other dealers who continuously checked my credit without consent, or countless times being brought cars that either weren’t for me or WAY out of budget, less than an hour spent with Eric, he put me in the right vehicle for me, and I’m just one day 2 of the ladies in finance worked out a deal I could reasonably afford. It was looking rough for a minute because of prior inquires I almost couldn’t get a deal without sky rocketed interest and then a few hours later, was called and told they gave me the same interest I already have, tacked in extra warranty and had me totally approved thank you so much Volkswagen Moncton for finally getting me into a vehicle I can love and appreciate!

Overall good experience dealing with VW Moncton. Process from start to finish was quick and easy.

Pretty good service, took my car In here to get the radio looked at, took alot longer than it should have but they only charged me for 1/2 hour so that's customer service. Labour rates are a little pricy tho

I've only ever owned Volkswagen cars. This dealerships lack of tact and accountability has made me run for the hills.
The service department is NOT to be trusted. They wanted to charge me $1700 for work in order to pass inspection. I went to an independent mechanic and the repairs cost less than $400. Not the first time this type of thing has happened at this dealership.
If you asked me what I thought of the old Dieppe Auto 10 years ago, I'd have given them 5*.
Plain and simple, I don't trust them anymore.

The first thing I want to say is that these staff are really the best. Ever since I immigrated to Canada, I have searched many cars, but I have never satisfied myself as much as these people.

The second thing, what can I compare the driving of this car? Feeling to meet my really close friend in a long time? In a word, "I am rather pleased to wait". The reason why this wait is pleasant is that I trust him because he really knows me among many people. This car is for me.
