Walmart Supercentre

Very junky store for a newer store, it has really gone downhill over the last three or four years. Cannot find inventory, cannot find an employee to help as they are all milling around chatting with each other hiding out from customers. Shelves are a mess and not restocked, this store is looking like management no longer cares. Need a new Walmart in the WK…. Perhaps Costco?

Very poor management, false advertising on the self check out about accepting cash, none working express. People with two items having to wait 20 minutes for check out

Was very displeased with Sandra’s attitude at the customer service desk.
She was rude, unwilling to help & when I asked to speak to the manager, the response I received was “I am the manager”.
After finding out the main manager’s name, Sandra refused to let me know when I can reach him.
After calling back the following day when someone else was on staff, I was able to connect with the main manager & my problem was resolved quite effortlessly & with a smile.
Part of my issue was I didn’t have my receipt which Sandra said she couldn’t look up.
After I was helped later on by one of the higher ups, they commented how easy it was to find my receipt with the info I had provided them.
Sandra’s attitude & lack of effort to service the customer was very irritating.
Over all, happy my issue was resolved when dealing with people willing to do their job. Over-all I am happy with Walmart, but displeased with Sandra.

Very unkept store- filthy floors; but store staff looked after checkstands more efficiently than any other store I have visited in BC & Alberta. Unlike most Walmarts customers weren't forced into utilize self-serve checkstands.
Walmart seems to have no Regards in serving older people. Store in Trail, BC definitely needs to be remodeled & upgraded. Selection of grocery items is extremely poor. The only reason people shop at Walmart is cheaper prices;but company could even be more profitable should they evaluate profit to customer needs

Worst experience ever! Jackie the manager of customer experience don’t even know how to treat the customers and i am wondering how she would is managing her staff if she don’t have skills…
I was asking greeter how her day been, suddenly jackie came and told me to leave the store if you are done shopping! I think she is no one to tell a customer to leave the store.in order to handle the situation she should have talked with her staff rather than customer….

I made a return today with no issues.
They had a product that would only work in the south or warmer temperatures and would only be useful in the summer months here.
They should research products before bringing them north of southern California.

Frustrating Actually!
It seems this pharmacy spends a lot of time, either closed or irregular hours.

Being in the Kootenays, there's not a lot of services to begin with.
I had gone to one store in town attempted to fill a precription, but there were literally six people in the lineup waiting to talk to the pharmacist, so decided to leave and drive to Walmart instead, at 5: 30 in the afternoon on a Friday only to find out that it was closed.

Brutal 15 carts lined on one till open people in self check out all confused 3 employees wondering around trying to help. 5 tills vacant.

Here we go again. It's a Walmart. I got a tv there. If you don't know what a Walmart is, just visit any one, they're all the same.

Had a couple of questions while I was shopping & I had no problems finding an Associate & they were able to answer my questions! That was probably a first!

I would like to complement the young man working in the flowers department at the Trail Wal-Mart today. I was there around noon May 4,2021. He was very pleasant and made me feel appreciated for shopping there. It is very seldom that people show good manners and make you feel good about shopping at their business. I just want to acknowledge him for doing his job very well.

This is one of the worst Walmart’s I have been to in B. C, really sad actually and the staff is constantly following people around for no good reason other than to make them uncomfortable to be shopping in this particular store. It’s to bad that trail doesn’t have more options for shopping.

When you’re bored and living the retirement life this is one of the places to go to get your mind active. Great selection and decent prices. Wait to buy the rollback items if you have patience. The McDonald’s inside the store has most menu items, but can be slow at times. Don’t forget to look at the scenery outside. You’re in Western Canada and this Walmart has one of the best views of Mother Nature.

I like it but it need a major renovation, inside and out, with more organized shelves and cloths racks.

I love this store for different reasons probably than most! I love that they have the motorized shopping carts for handicapped people. A few months ago I asked for help with my cell phone and the young lad who waited on me was EXCELLENT!

They have everything you could imagine here. Huge parking lot with wheelchair accessible entrance. From light duty tools to fresh veggies they got you covered. The grocery section is big, lots of good deals to be found if you look for them.

Staff is great and therefore Walmart receives a star. I swear they probably have more stock in back than on shelves. As for most of their clothing and shoes, I swear we get what you can’t sell elsewhere. Selection is awful unless your there for hair products or meds. I used to enjoy shopping around the store and I am spending much less time there.
Up side for some shops is that I am spending more money elsewhere now.

Has everything! Customer service is not part of the Walmart experience. Thats why they have unbelievable prices. The staff are there to mainly make sure you dont steal and make sure the shelves are constantly stocked. I love our walmart its the best store ever.

Hard to say has it's good days and bad days only place to shop dont have nothing that people really need or whant but tons a cheap stuff for an extra charge for handling employees, building, storage bla bla bla and no powerade tons a uchky Gatorade.

No selection except in food department. Many departments so small that there are not every day items available. Encourage self checkout rather than open a til when lineups occur

Horrible selection of kids clothes. I can never find the women's clothing items in the sizes I need. Sub-par quality "fresh" food. I won't buy food products here.

Bought 2 bags of great value crinkle cut fries. Smell kinda odd in bag but smell completely rotten after cooking. Im done with great value barf brand. On par with Sobeys Compliments brand cheap garbage.

Customer service is completely lacking. If you order anything off their website just pay the extra and get it shipped to your house. And order way in advance. I ordered a product that was supposed to be a gift for someone and was slated to arrive April 30th, 2019. I picked it up on May 10th. Way past due. The staff at the store level were unsympathetic, very disorganized and seemed more concerned with getting me out of the store than actually helping me figure anything out. The manager I dealt with over the course of this ordeal told me its their shipping companies problem not theirs. Passing the buck and not accepting any responsibility was not really an acceptable answer coming from someone who was supposed to be there to try to help me solve this. Basically these guys couldn’t organize a free lunch. I went in cool, calm and willing to work with the staff to solve the issue and they pushed every single one of my buttons until I ran out of patience. It’s too bad the area is so bad for shopping because I suggest you take your business elsewhere.

I dislike the self checkout as I do not work their and I'm not being paid to check myself out I think it's down right lazy the self checkout as Walmart doesn't want to hire people rather have a machine do the work and how all the easy Indians speak in their own language while they are working. And I find some are rude I dont recommend shopping at Walmart and I personally wouldn't call it a super store

Was a little frustrated that photo lab was closed at the only time I could get in there. It seems it is closed every time i try to go.
