Walmart Supercentre

The best thing about walmart north is friendly staff! Try their best to help you out. Shout out to their workers for being friendly, helpful and nice. Sadly, often these workers get some recognition.

Its clean and shelves are full most of the time compared to south side. The best time to shop is early in the morning when the store looks brand new with filled shelves. Its also less crowded ;

Store is pretty well organized although aisles are a little narrow to move around. Occasionally, there are not enough cashiers which has been an ongoing issue for Walmart. If you are unlucky, you would end up waiting for one cashier to ring you in while finishing a long line.

This walamrt got a huge and nice garden centre and with lots of collection. It looks beautiful in summer when plant section is open. Most of the seasonal items are also available in GC ie Christmas, Halloween and easter etc.

They also got a nice and huge pick up area for online grocery. The store online grocery pick up is right past Garden centre. In between Canadian tire and walmart garden centre. Some people where the automative used to be. If someone is wondering to get a fast and hassle free shopping online grocery is the best bet. For superior service, use express order. Check in with the app proves to be faster in receiving order than calling.
At the same time the main parking spot is huge and always plenty of room for parking unlike regent mall.

Lastly, two things to mention -
1. Friendly Greeter!
2. Fully charged electric wheel chair always available to use!

My favourite WalMart in the City, organized and the associates are pleasant. My only complaint is that there are no dressing rooms. I've been told that there is too much theft going on so the manager got rid of the dressing rooms. So if the customers want to try clothes on they have to buy what they want to try on and take them home and bring what you don't want back. That isn't very practical. I wish the Manager could come up with a solution other than punishing their customers. Disappointed!

For some reason they have blocked off an entire isle to close the photo center. This includes lights, power blocks, phone holders, trading cards, and more. Last I checked these are not part of the "photo center". There is no reason for these items to be completely inaccessible while the store is open.

Today, Sunday April 30th at approximately 9: 55pm I walked into Walmart to purchase ONE (1) package of cold slaw. I know they closed in 5 minutes and wanted to quickly grab one and either pay via self checkout or a cashier ; as I had both payment options available. Upon entering the store I was greeted my a very friendly elderly man who said welcome to me and my girlfriend. He also greeted the 2 persons who were maybe 2 feet away in walking distance; as they entered roughly a few seconds before us. My girlfriend and I were already through both entrance doors and about to enter the ‘main entrance gates’ when a lady, we assume to be the manager rudely and abruptly approached us. She sped over and said “the store is closed! ”, my girlfriend responded saying “the store closes at 10, we have a few minutes before you do. ” I looked at my phone and saw that it was now 9: 57pm so I said “it’s 9: 57pm and I only came for a package of cold slaw”. Listen… I’ve never felt soo disgusted, disrespected and upset! The lady was soo unmoved and uncaring regarding what I had said. She goes then again to say that their closed and the store closed at 10pm. My girlfriend brought to her attention that there was another couple that walked in seconds before us, we were actually still watching them walk in the produce section. My girlfriend called her a racist, as we’re both black-Caribbean. She then produced a fake flabbergasted facial expression and said “oh wow, really? ” And walked away. My girlfriend was still upset and was asking why would you even approach us? What was the difference between the couple that walked in less than 10 seconds before us!? It’s soo upsetting because now we have many frustratingly unanswered questions; Why not tell your worker at the door to not allow anyone else in? What did you think we were coming into your store 5 minutes before closing to do? Why after I said that I was only purchasing a package of cold slaw was I not able to? Why when called a racist did you not apologize and correct it? I am NEVER shopping at this Walmart location again. My girlfriend legit spends hundreds between your location and the regent for work; NEVER AGAIN! And when friends and family members visit I’ll tell them the same! It was ugly, bitter and hateful! And of course she felt nothing was wrong with what she did; but that does not make it right! I don’t require an apology but I will be letting the world know of my experience via this review and social media.

1067 North side Walmart is clean, organized, plenty of friendly staff. They always greet me with a smile. They will even offer to get me a cart when I come in to buy one thing, and next thing you know, my arms are full.

Went to return a few purchases and Customer Representative wouldn't let me have store credit without the receipt. Figured I would try the south side location and everything went great! Wonder why Northside Walmart is so rude?

This is really the one of the only place to get what you need in Peace River. However the staff are very friendly and always helpful. The supply is very good for a small Northern town.

The greeters and staff at customer service are always kind and smiley, the store is pretty clean and the washrooms are always clean! The staff walking around aren't usually very helpful from my experience but overall it's not usually a bad shopping experience!
