Yanakee Sushi B.B.Q(K-food)

The place was cozy, had a good range of sushi options available. It was a little late that we decided to grab dinner and the place was not at all busy! We got the combo sushi option and it had enough items, totally worth the price! Service was good, there was enough parking space outside the restaurant. It being winter, it was a little colder inside. Nevertheless I liked the ambiance of the place and definitely recommend it. Service could be a little better!:)

Best quality sushi in town! Trust me because I had been to every sushi place multiple times over the past 15 years. Yanakee is the only one I go to because it's worth the price. They never wrap with too much rice and the salmon is so fresh also the avocado. The owner is definitely not stingy. Other sushi place just stuff the sushi with so much rice and these fake meat. They actually put really decent amount the main ingredient of each sushi.

Love all the hand made decor in the restaurant. Highly recommend!

Food was not good…. Smoked salmon was super salty as if someone spilled salt in it… spring rolls where cold and dry.overall not good at all don’t understand the ratings over here

We liked this place, it looks unassuming from the outside, but inside it has a lovely atmosphere. Everything is decorated with knitted toys, which is very cute.

The portions are very large, and we were stuffed. Everything, except for the dessert, was delicious. We ordered a cake for dessert, but I didn't like it as it was too sweet for my taste, but that's a matter of personal preference.

Order chicken teriyaki it was smushy like the chicken was not fresh and it smells bad…. Sushi was fresh …. I think they should check where the chicken is stored because it is very sensitive to temperature.

Spend my 23rd birthday here, even we arrived a little bit late, we still had an excellent experience. Thanks for the cake and photo! Look forward back to here again.

Great food, amazing service and clean. The server was very sweet! The Macao chicken was delicious and the Korean wings were very good! Definitely recommend.

The food was delicious, and the waitress was sooo nice, but the portions are on the smaller side. Overall experience was positive.

Food is delicious, staff is very friendly. Vegan options available. I wish they would use biodegradable containers stuff of styrofoam. So much waste and pollution.

I really want to recommend you to try sushi and port meat BBQ with rice. Delicious, pretty good!

Food is very mediocre to me, nothing sets this place apart from others. I got takeout and my rolls were in the bag on top of my bento box, they were HOT.awful food preparation standards, could have gotten sick.

Regular customer for 2 years. Never a bad meal! The best in the area. Our regular items are bulgogi and yanaki roll combo but anything we have tried was excellent.

I had an amazing lunch experience there! Staff was very friendly and attentive. The price was very affordable and the sushi portion was surprisingly big for what I imagined. I went with family and all the other dishes ordered looked great and they were all happy.

I usually have a go-to sushi restaurant, but decided to try Yanakee since the other place was closed and oh my! Might just be the best sushis I ever tasted! Sooo good!

One of the best sushi restaurants in the city, the mango rolls here are absolutely delicious. Overall very good food quality in all their dishes. My wife and I visit this establishment atleast once a month and we always leave satisfied by the food, atmosphere and friendly staff.

We were greeted by who we consider to be the best waitress we have ever encountered, her smile was genuine and full of joy. She was absolutely wonderful, and the food was phenomenal, we had the sushi roll combo plate and assorted tempura. Just wow. The waitress went above and beyond to make our experience memorable.

This place is absolutely amazing! (I had eaten some of the salad, forgot to snap the photo). The sushi is fantastic, I had 5 of their wings, BEST I have ever had. Period. I am a wing guy. My previous favorite wings were from a restaurant that closed in Halifax, I was soo sad. No more! A+ Stop whatever you are doing right now and eat here!

Very cute place with great service. I had the sashimi bibimbap which was excellent (generous portion too). I'll definitely be back!

You need to try their tempura and home made sauce its really good. I ordered bento and really satisfied. My husband ordered ramen and its delicious. The california roll. My kid always like sunnyside up so I asked the staff if I can request egg separately and they do it for him. Very nice place to dine. If I were to ask I will definetly come back.

This restaurant is my "go to" place when I am visiting from out of town. The staff are amazing. The food very tastey with generous portions. Great selection of food items. Reasonable pricing.

Beef Bibimbap expresses the taste of Korea's representative cuisine as it is. It is very delicious!
The sashimi bento was very fresh.
Macao shrimp ordered as an appetizer is the best dish.

Never had a disappointing experience. Order from here at least once a month and it has been consistently great quality, kind staff, and amazing prices. You can tell by the wall of thank you's that other customers share the same opinion.

Second visit 10th of December: nice food! Although I found the shrimp tempura very heavy and I still felt it very oily!

I’ve never had take-out handled with such care. The driver was a bit late so they went out of their way to give us a fresher version of our order and extras. Your team deserves 5 stars! The food was great as well - thank you!

First time for us, was okay.
Spring roll were amazing,
had the california roll, yam roll and shrimp tempura roll. Shrimp was cold like it was already prepare in advance. Tempura was mushy. Yan roll was good. Husband had wings salt lepper they were freeze burn.
Wont be coming back.

It was awesome, I usually order through Skip, but eating there was a different thing. Friendly server, jazz as music, Bento for my meal, so calm, simple decoration but really nice and the place has some good vibes. And they're actually japanese! I'm full and fully satisfied. (Wasabi is fire in mouth! You can sell your soul for water at this moment?). But I enjoyed my meal listening to them, speaking in japanese. It was really refreshing. And the meals are affordable.
C'était génial! J'ai l'habitude de commander sur Skip mais manger sur place, c'est tout autre chose. Le serveur était amical, il y avait du jazz en fond sonore, mon bento devant moi, tellement calme. La décoration est simple mais vraiment belle et c'est ce qui fait le charme de l'endroit. Et ils sont vraiment japonais! Je suis rassasiée et pleinement satisfaite. (Le wasabi c'est du feu en bouche, tu peux vendre ton âme pour de l'eau à ce moment?). J'ai vraiment apprécié mon repas en les écoutant parler en japonais, c'était vraiment rafraîchissant and leurs prix sont abordables.

The takeout food was really good and fresh. Bibimbap was tasty and beef tender. Love the shitake mushrooms. Prefer spinach to lettuce tho. Sushi was great too. Look forward to another meal.

Amazing food and amazing service! Got take out and the staff were so friendly when I came in to pick up. Highly recommend the Macao Tofu.

We live outside of Moncton and the food was still hot when we got home. Can't wait to come back and dine-in next time.

Loved the decor and plating was cute.

All I have to say is wow! Just ordered on DoorDash for lunch and got the tempura roll box, the tempura is some of my favorite that I have had, I didn’t like one of the rolls that came with the box so I called the restaurant and they said it was no problem to switch it out for a different roll. Everything was packaged very neatly, the tempura was still warm and the soup was hot! This is hands down my favorite new place for sushi in Moncton ️

Very delicious and good prices. The fish is fresh, and the tempura very crunchy and light. The salmon sushi was the best I've ever had. I also appreciate all the different little sauces that came with the bento box. My favorite sushi place!

The food was great But will never go back there again. The server was being rude when I ask for a spoon & fork since I don’t know how to use sa chopstick then he gave me a long wooden spoon and a normal stainless fork And then told him can i get a stainless one? Then he gets the stainless spoon and told me in front of my friends “this? This is the kitchen spoon”. And i was shocked and embarrassed that he lectured me that way knowing that never in any korean/japanese/Chinese restaurant that we’ve eaten before gave us a spoon like that. It looks like im cooking the sauce of the pasta.idk its just so rude for me! I even brought 8 of my friends that time cause I recommended it to them that the food there was really good. Even them doesn’t wanna go back there anymore after that happened.they even find him rude.

This restaurant is the greastest sushi restaurant I have ever went! All foods are delicious and the service is satisfying)
