Once, I ordered a shawarma plate and asked it to be spicy. He added so much crushed red pepper that I was not able to eat my food.
2nd time I went for biryani, which was nothing but boiled rice with a piece of chicken leg. In the name of the salads, he added a few pieces of Lettice and tomatoes. Only gave hummus but no tzatziki.
The most of the time, his shawarma has no taste in it, taste liked boiled chicken pieces, not thin shawarma slices.

Seven Spices, a Syrian restaurant that serves up some delicious food! I recently had the pleasure of trying their chicken shawarma and falafel wrap, and I have to say that both were absolutely fantastic.
The chicken shawarma was tender and juicy, with just the right amount of spices to give it a flavorful kick. And the falafel wrap was packed with crunchy, fresh veggies and a deliciously seasoned falafel patty that was cooked to perfection.
Overall, I highly recommend Seven Spices to anyone looking for a taste of authentic Syrian cuisine. The quality of their food is truly top-notch, and I can't wait to come back and try some of their other dishes!

Incredibly friendly service, and the owner gave me a free lentil soup while I waited for my shawarma! Delicious!

We ordered the chicken shawarma wrap, the mixed shawarma plate and baklava. All for take out.
The mixed shawarma plate was probably the best I have had in Halifax in a while. It’s a petty I was too hungry to take any pictures because it’s presentation was great. It came with salad dressing, pita and hummus on the side. The beef, lamb and chicken way perfectly coated in the shawarma spice and in generous portions. One thing I will add is I wish they included garlic sauce in the meal.
Then came the chicken shawarma wrap. It was a little disappointing. The flavours were all there. But the chicken was a little undercooked, and the wrap was greasy.
The baklava was the highlight. It was probably the most fresh baklava I have had in Halifax yet. Although i prefer pistachio over walnut in my baklavas, this walnut baklava was a treat. It was bigger in size compared to other Arab restaurants around. Crunchy on the outside, soft and slightly sticky in the middle, and held together. I only managed to take a picture after eating the one half
Will definitely be back and trying their other plates. I feel like the wrap was a one time off.

Just had a beef shawarma, the portion was so huge, beef was well tendered, sauced really good. The restaurant is clean and tidy, it's recommended. Will definitely visit again for sure. Best shawarma in town

My favourite new (to me) restaurant! Delicious, healthy, super filling, and huge portions. Highly recommend!
