The food is just AMAZING! I was so amazed when I visited 902 restaurant for the first time! The food tasted sooo good and the portions were so generous. We ordered chicken, beef shawarma and lamb chunks with rice. The garlic sauce is very well done. Everything tasted so great that I decided to never eat shawarma again somewhere else lol

You should never look for other restaurants when you d like to try middle eastern food.

Food quality and taste were beyond my wildest imagination! Thanks! I only have one comment: I wish the volume of the music was lower.

By far the best and most authentic chicken shawarma in HFX. The lentil soup is delicious! However, the interior of the restaurant resembles more as a chinese restaurant, as the seats are uncomfortable

This is a Syrian restaurant in downtown Halifax. Good food and friendly staffs. Went to check out first time and given the area competitions I would say their food portions are much better than any others.

Tried eating out at 902 and found it to be a great place. The staff was friendly and helpful, the service was amazing and the food was mouth watering. I would recommend 902 for Mediterranean Food!

The restaurant is just past Halifax Citadel, very good ambience the host Hamood was really kind and courteous he suggested me a Syrian dessert Muhalaya which was really palatable and cheaper than my original choice Om Ali! If you’re in Hali dt and visiting citadel do check this restaurant out!

Go for the food. We had the Syrian Kebab and the Chicken Tandoori.
The salad, rice, and fries with the garlic sauce were perfect to complete the meal.
We were just driving around and discovered maps (new to us) feature to write in the cuisine of food you like, and this restaurant came up with a few others.

After being away from Halifax for a couple years, I went back to my favorite place. This place has gone downhill in an unbelievable way!

My whole order was the following:
Om Ali
Kunafa
Ayran
Tea

For the above, we had to wait for more than 30 mins, which is not the main issue. We received Om Ali and the Kunafa and they were terrible!

The Kunafa especially was my favorite dessert here. This time, it had almost no cheese at all! And it tasted so sour!

With such terrible service and taste, management really needs to pay attention.

We got the kebab mix and kibbeh, they were soooooo good. Finally a good Mediterranean restaurant which isn’t too expensive and worth the price. I was on the lookout for good shawarma places and this definitely is on my list. Flavors are spot on, we have never encountered any undercooked food, so far so good!

Previously purchased the best shwarmas from this location from Alladins. Tried the new place. The wrap was a tortillas, not a pita bread, the meat had dried out pieces of meat, it wasn't bad however didn't taste like real shwarmas. Was a disappointment. Im sure the other food in restaurant is good as it was busy, however the shwarma was not up to standard of a good one. Hopefully they can improve this.

We did takeout for dinner. Our large group ordered different things from the menu with the intent of sharing and tasting the variety. Everything tasted almost authentic to ME food we have tried in UAE and portions were sufficient. The rice, chicken, hummus and baklava. Yum! Great customer service to boot.

Been here a couple of times now because the food is reliable.

This time out again, the food was good. I got the Syrian kebab. As usual the garlic sauce and spicy sauce was amazing and added the best touch to the food. However, it seems like the kebab pieces have shrunk in size. I was not too bothered by it as the food was still great.

However, the service was not the best. Although the waitress got us everything we needed, I noticed them rolling their eyes at us a couple of times. Now i don’t mind if you are smiling or not, but rolling the eyes is a bit much I find.

It was also pretty warm in the restaurant. But we were sat next to the kitchen, so maybe that’s why.

The baklavas here are okay. But I’ll probably try them on a better day again.

Overall, food is good but environment not the best. I would suggest takeaway for the best experience here.

The best Halal fried chicken in Canada. I have tried many places in Toronto and Montreal but nothing beats the taste of Syrian Fried Chicken.

Excellent food. All halal. Right in the middle of downtown. Their service is exceptionally good. Love how the lady (never asked her name) greets every time I go! The portion size is enormous and they're very generous with their special garlic mayo.

First time there and won't be the last. Food was amazing. Service was amazing. Will be a regular stop from now on.

We’ve never dined in here but order off Uber Eats delivery from here all the time. We love their fried chicken and lamb shank with both versions of their rice. The highlight are their two sauces. The white garlic and whatever the red/orange sauce is, they both go well with everything we order and then some! We always order enough for leftovers and they all reheat well too!

Amazing Taste of Fried Chicken with french-fries are Unique and MAINLY HALAL which is in centre of downtown. Shawarma is also good which will make you full.

Used to be one of the best restaurants, great food.
But since the owner changed, it doesn’t taste the same, the taste of food degraded to the lowest level.
No authentic taste now.

They never fail to impress. I have tried a lot of items from their menu, whether it is burgers, tandoori chicken, mix kebab, jumbo shrimps, lamb shank, Kanafe desert and the food is always great, tasty, well seasoned, reasonably priced with good fulfilling quantity per meal. Well done keep going.

It's a really good restaurant with authentic Mediterranean foods. The seating is really good as it gives you ample privacy between tables. Prices are reasonable. Probably due to covid, they won't serve you water in glass, you have to buy a bottled water. Overall a great experience

The most delicious Arabic food in Halifax! It surpasses all the others! Very delicious. Specially the rice with Saffron.

Everything was dry and burnt and bad food i had 2 five ppl plate for 69 $
and The kebabs are burnt and a few chickens only for 5 ppl the plate only for 2 ppl >>

Our first visit to this new Mediterranean/Syrian restaurant, in the former Suzuki Sushi location. The food was excellent, and produced and served efficiently and nicely plated, which is impressive after being open such a short time (16 days!). However, between father and son in the kitchen they apparently have more than 45 years of cooking experience. The other son worked front of house and was both pleasant and skilled.

The meze were delicious, and somewhat different from the usual. Loved the green beans. Falafel were crisp on the outside and moist inside. The spice balance in the lentil kofte was perfect according to my daughter, a lentil kofte connoisseur. And the lamb shanks melt in your mouth. I was also blown away by the pomegranate vinaigrette on the fatoush salad.

I gather they’ve been very busy over the Christmas week, which is good to hear — they certainly deserve continued support. Highly recommended.

A fantastic addition to Halifax. My first visit today. Tasty food. Reasonably priced. Simple and cozy design. Some little nooks offering privacy. Great for both couples, friends and familes. Something for everyone. A really varied and well thought out menu offering a "trip around the world" as dar as different culinary choices! You won't be dissapointed!

Very delicious and have a large menu of middle eastern variety. We tried most of their barbecue options and they were all good. Lamb chops were really well done. Rice was full of favour as well. If you go there you have to try their cheese konafa “akawi” which its serving size is plate size and can easily be shared by 2 to 4 people. Reminded me of Konafa i had in Istanbul.

It is hard to find a good authentic Middle Eatern food. So far, my favorite. We've been twice since they opened. Fresh food and very nice people.

Service was great! We had chicken tandoori and Syrian kebab, both were really delicious and tasteful!

This restaurant is the second restaurant in Halifax that I could finish all my plate. It is not just delicious, it is fantastic. Thanks for everything guys.

Nice place & good environment. I hear they just open recently so went with some friends to try out their menu. Their menu was looked good because it wasn't just focusing on one type of food recipes. They had food recipes from different part of the world for example Moroccan, Indian, Arabic.the food was delicious. We ordered six different dishes and tried them. Will recommend to others to tryout their new menu.

THE GREATEST place of all time I went there with my friends it was the best food I have had in all of Canada. I can't even describe how professional the server was. Very good and friendly service. I will definitely go to that place AGAIN and again. Thank you guys so much keep it up
