Great service. Special thanks to Angie and both Joes (customer service & mechanic). Helped us today with our ZeroTurn front tire which was really a special case. We are so grateful.

We needed help fixing a puncture and tire rotation on a heavy duty off road customer tire set up.
Angie, Ian and Colby we absolutely awesome! We showed up right before closing. They checked out the truck and made sure they had everything. They got started first thing in the morning and had us back on the road in a blink.

The team at A1 tires helped me out while I was on vacation from Montreal. We needed help fast and they answered the call while other garages in the region said they were booked for a week.

Angi at the front desk also suggested some places to visit to make our vacation a safe and pleasant experience.

Got a flat tire the morning I had to catch a flight to the airport, managed to get me in right away to repair two punctures in my tire. Didn’t even charge me for it. Extremely friendly and helpful. Turned my bad day into a good day. Will be returning to give them more of my business.

I meant to post this many months ago, but I'm a procrastinator! 8 months ago in October, 2022 - my girlfriend, her brother and I drove from Chicago to Newfoundland. We were pressed for time as we were trying to make it to our scheduled ferry ride in Sydney, NS to Newfoundland. We went to Bay of Fundy earlier in the day then went driving on Hiway 104 across Nova Scotia on our way to Sydney when we got a flat tire 25 miles west of Truro. The terror and grief we felt was surreal as we were out in the middle of nowhere and didn't know who to call since I didn't have a jack to change to a spare tire and also knowing we wouldn't make our ferry ride that evening which would affect our pre-paid hotel reservations and such. But, long-story-short, I was able to reach a tow driver who actually came out to help change the tire - he said he grew up in Truro and the best place to go would be A1-tires in Truro (the other front wheel had the metal threading showing throught the tire also, so I needed 2 new ones - this was all due to a mis-alignment on new tie rods and a control bar I had installed shortly before leaving Chicago. Given that it was 6pm already, we stayed the night in Truro until the next morning when business would open. Angi, the manager, said they could change the tires as soon as we got there, but would have to wait til 1pm or 2pm to get the necessary alignment due to other appointments having already been made for alignments - we didn't have any choice but to go ahead and wait, but we were concerned this might make us miss our re-scheduled ferry ride a 2nd night. As the tire change process took place, Angi said she could do the alignment immediately after! We were there a total of only 2 hours and were able to leave by 10am which gave us plenty of time to catch the ferry to Newfoundland. In fact, we had so much time that we actually detoured and drove around the Cape Breton Highlands Peninsula before arriving at Sydney! We made it to the ferry terminal just in time. Thanks Angi for getting us done very promptly!

Had a slow puncture and called to make an appointment that afternoon. Tire repaired free-of-charge. Much appreciated!

Update: May 2023. A1 is still killing it in the customer service department. Just go see them.

Always have a good experience with A1. I called looking to get my vans wheels balanced and they said to bring it in anytime. Dropped off the van and had it back a short time while later.

The staff at A-1 are so kind and helpful. Wonderful service.

If it is an emergent situation, they will find a way to get you in as soon as possible.

I had a screw in my tire, called them when they opened and they were able to accommodate a fit-in appointment and dropped me off at work. Prices are more than fair.

Waking up to a screw in my tire when it's minus a billion degrees doesn't make for a good day. But calling around 15 mins before shops open and actually getting an answer at one, then to be told they'll get me in asap, does turn it into a good day. True to their word, I was in and out with my tire plugged. Staff were all smiling and enjoying themselves. And the waiting area was bright and actually clean with chairs that didn't make me want to go for a walk instead. 15/10 I will be back for anything else I need.

Yes indeed, They are giving super service on time. There was air pressure decreasement front and rear tyres of driving side. They cleared that within short period with good customer care. I recommend this place with my experience.
