Jeff has been a wonderful groomer for our dog for over 8 years. His knowledge and experience is unmatched and his rapport with clients is delightful. A true local icon.

I brought my 12.5 year old dog into Jeff last week for the first time. He gave my dog and awesome haircut. I will definitely go back there. Thank you so much Jeff.

Yes his behaviour was so questionable that he took treats from your hand. Lol. The only time he growled was when you reached for his back Paw because you kept saying that it look like it was bleeding even though there was no blood anywhere around. I told you when I came that he doesn't like his nails being cut. And that I needed to pet him and keep him occupied while you cut them. You didn't even get that far based on the type of dog he is. The first time I called you didn't even call me back after I left a message. I think your behaviour as a business owner is questionable

Pleasant experience and very happy with their quality of grooming. My dog was happy too. I wanted a clean puppy groom for my 7 month old springer spaniel and I was very happy with their work. Will go back!

Jeff and his team are professional and talented dog groomers. They are always cheerful and take patient and loving care of my old dog. Although we try to keep my puli's tight curly coat short, it grows fast and can quickly get out of control. Since his fur is naturally prone to matting, I can appreciate how much work Jeff has to put into grooming him. I feel good leaving my shaggy old puppy in their capable hands because I know that he will always be treated gently and come home looking very sharp and handsome! Their new salon, located near the MacKay Bridge, is nice and clean, has lots of parking and is very easy to get to. Highly recommended!

Overall I am not very happy with the service. Their website claims they do the pads, nails, and put on perfume. None of this was done. When called was told that I did not ask for that, and bring him in as a walk in. I should not have to ask for what they say is included in the service. My cat has anxiety so this is not feasible. For 70 I expected much more.

They were not able to trim my dogs front nails, told us to take him to the vet. Still charged full price. I took him here because webpage states they handle difficult dogs at an extra charge. Got the extra charge just not the service

I took my dog there to get groomed today and was called to say he couldn’t finish his groom we had to go up and help and then he proceeded to tell me how horrible my dog is I will not be returning.

I had a fantastic experience taking my dog Ellee here. She is a Brittney-Springer Spaniel and desperately needed a summer cut to cool off in the heat. The groomer at Pooch Parlor did an amazing job, exactly what I asked for. The hair from the top of her head down her neck was faded in really nicely, overall even cut and she is so soft now! They trimmed the hair between her toes and gave her nails a good cut. Lovely staff and overall great experience, I would definitely recommend!

Jeff is amazing. My dog is scared of everything and she even likes going. Still hates baths. Just lives the owner.

Whet there for the first time and they did a great job.our 2 pugs had nail trims and are normally scared, but they weren't here:)

Watching them work, it was clear that they were keen to keep my cats safe and comfortable. I never got the impression that they were rushing. Once I had retrieved my kitties and paid for their services. They were again very patient in answering my questions, they were in no hurry at all to make me leave.

This was a very pleasant first time grooming experience for me and my cats. I would definitely bring my furbabies back here again!

Someone close to me took their dog here. The dog has a double coat, so in the summer only the undercoat should be removed via brush and blow dryer, as their top coat protects them from the suns rays and burns, and allows for cool air to go to their skin. It also takes a long time for the top coat to grow back, which is why in dogs with double coats it should not be shaved ever unless for a medical procedure.

Instead, this grooming place shaved her even though they were given specific instructions not to shave, but to trim her and cut any clumps/mats out. This is not only dangerous for the dog, but shows poor business and poor knowledge, and no respect for the owners wishes.

I will NEVER take my dog here, and will never recommend this place to anyone I know.

I Love Pooch Parlour! They have amazing staff that took care of our miniature poodle who was very nervous for her appointment.
