Aberdeen Motel

Not only is the motel in a serious state of disrepair it is also a violent place. One individual said to me that the motel is basically a homeless shelter for the nearby community. Had a knock on my door late one evening. It is a woman claiming to be management & an individual who is supposedly the manager of the Aberdeen Motel. They told me to lock my door, turn off my lights, keep my curtains closed, turn off my tv & don't make any noise. I took it as harassment & intimidation. I am a senior & was terrified after getting this message from them. Apparently some customer threatened to beat up the manager. Next he came pounding on my room Almost as if it was a staged event. Next morning the customer came banging on the big picture window & threatening me. It was a horrifying experience.

The motel is under new management. The manager is not there. The person who runs the place for him is nice and helpful, but he cannot do it all by himself. The rooms are dirty and disgusting. Stay away!

False advertising at its finest. Pictures on website are not accurate at all. Very deceiving. Parking and turning around is near impossible for anything larger than a car. Garbage outside on the ground. Mold on bathroom curtains. Reception/take in area smelled smokey and musty and was dirty. Was given 2 bath towels for 4 people. Yellow ice in the freezer. Very outdated. Pictures on website are very very deceiving. Wouldn’t recommend staying here unless you had no other options

Dirty bathroom, dirty carpet, and dirty sheets. Apparently their website isn't their website anymore. Charged me more than they said they would when I called to book. We brought our own pillows and sleeping bag in from the car because we refused to crawl into the sheets. Would sleep in my car before sleeping here again.

Stayed here before got good service after Covid they forget who pays their bills.travelers that who! DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL!

They are very well managed and very kind to Travelers! The rooms are Circa 1970s and very clean! Everything you need and nothing you do not, for the best price bar none! They also have an excellent location to launch a day trip into the Cabot Trail and return back to the hotel for a comfy night sleep!
