Acropole Pizza

Please bring arcopole to Antigonish, the pizza around here is absolutely horrible, I debate on driving there most days jus to get a hot slice, unlike the abomination they sell here

Best Donair I’ve had in 3 years. Get the large and share it, or eat it yourself, if a meat coma is your goal……. 10/10

We were told to try a Donair while in Nova Scotia. A friend who used to live in New Glasgow said to go to Acropole.
And wow!
Never had them before but they were fabulous. We just ordered the Small size. You would never know they were stuffed. Tons of beef. Hard to hold and could use a bib to catch the sauce.
And our friend said it's the sauce that distinguishes a good Donair from an imitation.
Acropolis does the sauce right. Perfect!
Highly recommended but be sure you're hungry.

I've been to Westville Acropole & New Glasgow, they serve theee
best donairs in Canada. (I've been across Canada numerous times and have had donairs but not as good as this place)
Their Donair poutine is to die for!

First time trying this place and I'm delighted! Delicious garlic fingers. The perfect amount of garlic butter and cheese, cooked to perfection! Service was fast and friendly and reasonably priced!

On the 8th day God created Acropole pizza and then he rested. Or at least I think that's how it goes.

Me and my partner went in to get some fish and chips I found 3 Pieces of plastic in my food when I told the staff all they did is joke and laugh about it not going back I can tell you

Best pizza in Nova Scotia! Perfect dough, amazing sauce and so many fresh toppings. I've been to many many pizza places and this is the BEST

We always order Donairs and they are so tasty. Wish they were open later. But it is what it is.

Local recommendations led us to 2 slices of Acropoles pizza. It did not disappoint. Thick cheese and lots of flavours. So satisfying.

Hands down the BEST pizza! From the crust to the sauce to the delicious cheese! It tastes so fresh and it's so full of flavour. We got two pieces to go and had to go back to order a pizza to take home

At one point, this location had amazing pizza. But, now, the quality had gone down. The pizza lacks flavour. The sauce is not as spicy and does not taste the same. So disappointed?

I had a fantastic chicken souvlaki platter from Acropole this week and I was so pleased. The donairs are great too with perfectly sliced pepperoni and the option of tzatziki sauce. Will order again!

I ordered pizza &donairs here twice in the past few weeks. The cheese wasn’t brown &bubbly on the pizza like it previously was. It was definitely undercooked both times. However the service was friendly & I would highly suggest their donairs

Acro in New Glasgow is delicious pizza, by the slice or by the pie, and great for a snack while enjoying the downtown scene shopping or for an event, fast and hot, great mid day or late late night:)

OMG this pizza is so amazing. Always indulge when I am down home. A little pricey but to me it's worth it. Best pizza in Pictou County!

Here on vacation again.ordering for the 3rd time tonight before flying back tomorrow. Still awesome!

Service wasn't the best. When my order was ready they never called my name, just put the order on top of the oven. I was told 20 minutes but I waited 40.

I've been eating the pizza and donair sauce here for as long as I can remember and it still tastes the exact same. Consistency, my friends.consistency.if I could give more than 5 stars I would.

Crust was perfect, sauce was tasty and lots of toppings:) my family's new fav place when we're in New Glasgow

Delicious. Combo slice was loaded with toppings and sauce, donair burger was filled with meat and onions. Service was a bit of a wait, but worth it.

We came here after hearing it was the best pizza in Pictou County. The pizza did not disappoint, but the use of styrofoam meat trays to hold the slice did. The world is filled with trash no need to use stryofoam trays when there are so many other recyclable or compostable options available. Please consider switching to something more sustainable.

Should not have taken 45 minutes inside to receive food. But food was good. People walking in ordering food after me were served faster.

I would have give 5 stars 3 years ago. Last 2 pizzas were burnt top and bottom and delivery was almost 2 hours for a 10 minute drive. Come on everyone is busy tell me if delivery is backed up. Lost my business.

Great pizza and friendly staff. Also you can buy cold slices for either 2 bucks or $2.50. Which i always put a hot slice in the freezer to cool it down. I love cold pizza.)

Claim to be open until 1am Mon-Thursday on their website but nobody will answer the phone after midnight.

For some reason only the Acro pole newglasgow thinks it’s a good idea to put a cheese burger in the same box with a poutine. Gross soggy burger.: : : : didn’t even start eating when I first wrote this review but a few bites into the poutine found what was either a pube or a spider leg. Everyone was completely turned off their meal and nobody finished. Went back for a refund on the poutine and they refused. Offered another poutine but sorry I don’t want another hairy poutine. Will never return

Probably one of the most "notorious" places around to purchase pizza! I also LOVE the fact that they also offer a wide variety of other great food, such as Hamburgers, Cheese Burgers, Poutine, Fries, and much more.

I'm telling you, ive tried a hand full of pizza places all around N.s and N. B.and by far this was the worst tasting pizza ive ever had.
The sauce tasted like tomato soup. No flavor whatsoever and the crust was hard as nails. The only part was good was the cheese. Overall I will never eat pizza here again.

Being from Ontario and no one knowing how to make a real pizza I always look forward to having my Acropole pizza when I am in Nova Scotia.
