Love this place day or night, great area for dogs, family. Awesome playground for the kids and stunning views. Also a very historic part of halifax.

Did not know about this history we went to the museum which was suggestion without driver who was driving around and called the black cultural area of Halifax very interesting learned a lot

Nice park with a view to harbour entrance from Bedford Basin. Picnic tables and Toilets available.

It was really sad to learn the history of Africville. I hope people will appreciate here more and don't make the same mistakes again.

A wonderful experience and beautiful heritage and history to celebrate. Good music, dance and friendly people all ghe way. Certainly worth experiencing.

J'ai beaucoup appris de cette histoire que n'avais jamais entendu parlé. Excellent musée. Très tragique. Il y a une belle église et un très beau parc. J'ai bien aimé.

Catered to a picnic there and not enough parking spaces for the amount of people wanting to visit it.

It's a peaceful place, especially during the week we don't see many people there. A good place to relax your mind, pray or meditate.

Nice spot to park during the day. I know it's a bit of a "cruising" spot at night but the number of creepy 50+ year old men parked and just STARING at you (I'm a dude) during the day is pretty off putting.

This is a lovely park with a great view of the basin. The park seems to be quite popular among families. There are no facilities however.

It's a must go if you are gathering places to know more about history while staying in Halifax! Wonderful experience and friendly staff is a plus.
