Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge

The food was old and dried out, mostly empty. No fruit, nothing - bare bones and just plain awful.

They only have 2 beer options (Guinness and coors lite) both of which are hot garbage.

As others have mentioned it’s super dirty and the staff rarely clean or refill the food. Typical Canadian experience tbh.

Lounge was ok, very crowded and not exactly the best lounge, but it was still nice to sit down and have a nice view with a drink

Lots of seating available, and fairly quiet. Good wifi with lots of outlets. Mediocre coffee options available through a machine- including decaf- but the selection of food can definitely use improvement. They also do not carry any dairy free or gluten free options, so the lounge won’t be worth it if you have diet restrictions.

Hot food - tuna wraps? Said chicken but they were tuna
Cold - AC too high for a cold day

Very spacious with a large business area. Our timing was good and not very busy. Lots of seating available. They have hot chocolate powder available but not in the machine. There was also no fruit available. The selection of wraps did look good but we didn't try any this time.

I just went up there to see if I could buy a day pass to spend my 4hr lay over in the lounge. The guy informed me that you can’t buy a day pass the same day as your flight which is fine if that’s the policy but he was very rude about it. I just asked a simple question, all I needed was a response, I didn’t need to be talked down to like that. I felt disrespected and I was very disappointed. Would not recommend this place for that reason.

For a MLL at Halifax - the offerings and services are quite good. The food selection was nice and restocked quite frequently. The front desk service was a bit snappy when he asked me where my connecting flight came from. The lounge was very crowded when I arrived early to mid-evening. This was my biggest issue.

Only lounge in the Halifax airport full bar self serve nice selection of food greet spot to chill before a flight plenty of plugs for charging bathrooms business area which is more quiet and the selections of liquor are great and mostly top shelf small selection of cookies to satisfy your sweet tooth and some soups that are less hearty

Fish tank has now been emptied. Heated frozen peas and pasta with bag sauce were offered. Cookies that are hard are way old and should be avoided. Unless you're here to fill up on alcohol, it's probably nicer to eat at even the worst garbage at the airport like tim Hortons. Best description is "it's a place to sit" that is less good than the free observation deck. Wifi, business area and booze will be your only possible reason to visit. Air Canada needs to do better. (The tea sign explicates they don't trust you with honey)

The food here is so awful literally the exact same food every time. Sloppy presentation.alot of it looks like its been sitting out sll day and the lounge is always rammed with people. It doesn't feel exclusive anymore.

The check-in process was smooth, but the service was not up to par. I observed a delay in cleaning the area after the previous travelers had departed.

A smaller Maple Leaf Lounge, but nicely appointed, good ambiance, amazingly friendly and efficient staff and a good selection of fresh, tasty food. I loved the lobster sliders!

If the maple leaf lounges, I found this one clean, furniture and decor was well kept. The beverage selection was excellent too,

My favourite MLL. Opens nice and early so I can enjoy a Latte and breakfast before the earliest flight.

The Halifax lounge is probably the most least stocked lounge of all the MLLs. It could definitely use a refresh.
I found with most of the MLL’s the bathrooms could be larger as well.

A good place to hang out and wait for a flight. The food meh definitely could be improved. I'll wait for the meal on the plane. Alcohol premium brands. Staff working were very polite and helpful.

Very busy. Food is cold. Staff are friendly. You go here because you have status or free passes or business class ticket.

Never spend real money for this place.

I spent almost eight hours here after my flight was cancelled 18 times. Overall it was a good place to relax and load up on decent food before heading onto the plane. The self-serve bar definitely helped to numb the pain of waiting.

Definitely Needs a Renovation

To Preface, I only had access to this lounge through Star Alliance Gold and definitely would not pay for it. The selection of drinks was fine, but the coffee machine was broken and there was no hot food for an early morning flight (6AM). The seating felt quite dated and the whole lounge felt very old and poor. With some new furnishing and a better food selection would definitely visit.
