Alamo Rent A Car

Reserved a truck and after getting to the desk even after eating at the airport they didn't have a truck available. So Alamo knows how to take the reservation they just don't know how to hold the reservation, after booking a full size truck.
Poor customer service, the attendant just shrugged And said there's nothing he can do will have to wait for one. After waiting 45 min they tried giving us a mini truck instead Should be able to give half star rating.

Very slow service. Had to wait forever to get keys to vehicle only one person working

Had never rented from Alamo and wondered what it would be like as usually rented from Budget or Enterprise. When I originally came to the Alamo counter at Halifax airport I was greeted by a friendly yet very efficient Jason who looked after my booking and got us on our way very quickly. When I dropped off the car Megan was friendly and looked it over and we were gone in no time so we really appreciated excellent service!

My car hire was faultless, a new car that took me all the way round nova scotia without missing a beat.great service from staff who were very thorough yet experienced.i put car thru a car wash before returning it which surprised them but its my responcibility to give it back in same condition so why not, i videod the exterior to prove the condition and car was accepted back with a smile, ill definatly be using Alamo again, as long as i get the chevy malibu!

I rent a few times a year from the Halifax Airport and I have to say I think all of the Alamo reps are great. Cars are clean, gassed up and if one is not available an alternate in a higher class is always offered. They are fast and efficient on pick up and return. I have rented at other Alamos in the states and Quebec and not found the same results so I just have to tag the Halifax crew and say it is always a pleasure!
