Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site

Excellent comintary and history if his life and accomplishments. Took a boat tour around d the bay with a great view of his home.

It's a very beautiful and quiet museum. I really believe the pictures and texts. I like the architectural style of this museum. It's very beautiful.

Enjoyed the museum and the grounds are beautiful. The only issue we had was that there was lots to read but if there was a couple of people ahead that took their time then it would cause a bottle neck so in the end you skip ahead and possibly miss some key points.

A wonderful and informative museum. Most people don't know how important Alexander Graham Bell was and the incredible inventions he was responsible for. This museum opened my eyes.

The staff at the Alexander Graham Bell historical site went above and beyond by sending back our baby’s vaccination card, which we accidentally left behind, despite us being in a different province. Their thoughtful gesture has left us incredibly grateful!

This museum offers a fascinating history of Alexander Graham Bell's extensive work. While I knew that he was the inventor of the telephone, I learned at this site (among other things) about his groundbreaking work with the deaf, his research into aviation, and his invention of the graphophone. If you are in the Baddeck area, this museum is definitely worth a visit.

Really interesting museum - popped in for an hour before closing. Was able to see most things, but definitely need longer to appreciate it more

Wow, this museum easily makes it into my top 10 list of places I've checked out in Canada. Seriously, the design is on point, the layout is spacious, and they've got these cool sections that just make sense. It's like a surprise waiting for you at every turn.
But what really wowed me was how they set up those models in the big hall. Plus, they back it up with articles and videos that give you all the juicy info. Major shoutout to the awesome staff, too. They're all super friendly and ready to help.
Oh, and don't even get me started on Baddeck, the place where this museum is based. It's like a hidden paradise. Thanks to this museum, I stumbled upon Baddeck, and now I'm telling you, if you're ever near Cape Breton, you absolutely have to swing by this sweet little village and check out this epic museum. I'm definitely coming back for more!

A very lovely museum, well put together with lots of information about Alexander Graham Bell. Lots of displays and a reconstructed silver dart.

Very good overview of Bells' many interests and inventions. Could use more depth in theory of operation of items and hand on examples. Would have been great to see/hear/touch examples of the early telephone, telegraph, phono graph, air foil, etc. Great life size, rebuilt examples of airplane and hydrofoil

Very interesting man and I was not aware of all the varied scientific endevors. What an amazing man. The facility is wonderful and a must stop if in the area.

Must visit when in cape Breton. Huge historically significance.

Un incontournable? Probablement pas. Mais si l'histoire vous passionne, vous y découvrirez qu'Alaxander Graham Bell, c'est beaucoup plus que l'inventeur du téléphone. En fait, cet homme était un génie. Le musée, situé dans le petit village de Baddeck est parfait pour combler un après-midi pluvieux ou pour profiter de l'air climatisé en temps de canicule (Ce qui était mon cas). Et pourquoi pas profiter des quelques terrasses qui se trouvent tout près du musée avant un bon souper au restaurant de fruits de mer.
