Ice cold Donair. Ordered in rush hour but Donair was obviously slapped together 50 minutes ago

Edit: the copy and paste answer to my review is comical. Not calling the store for you to send me another cold donair. With all the pizza shops available around me I’ll leave my 1 star review and move on

Got the deluxe pizza. Was fresh out the oven, was greeted with excellent customer service! I will definitely be back to this location.

Strange canned dog food content in the donair egg rolls, old snd dry. Food came cold. Pizza ok but not worth $60 for 2 pizzas. Overpriced, I probably won't order again.

I order the 3 pieces of fish and chips on Uber eat, but what I received is 3 pieces of chicken and with no chips! I can’t eat this meal! I called to the restaurant, and the staff is very rude! He said because I ordered on Uber eat, so I should call Uber not them! Ridiculous!

Hair in my food. Uncooked dough. Extremely rude staff/manager when I brought up any issues, I have worked in kitchens my whole life and the manager decided to try and gaslight me into thinking my order was fine when the pizza had raw dough just dripping off, covered the whole pie in sauce/over the crust, I couldn’t even pick it up. Only bought food from them as I work nights and it was the only option open, I’ve had issues with them before. When I asked for a refund the manager literally accused me of trying to get a free pizza but I couldn’t even eat it/want it so idk why he felt the need to be so rude. 100% won’t be going back.

I had vegetarian Broccoli hot pepper Pizza today it was ultimate. Too delicious excellent flavour, texture, spice, salt everything was perfect. I highly recommend this place to every vegetarian. One of the best pizza in 2 and half years in Canada as I tried many pizza stores. They areI “THE BEST” love their service as well, very kind and helpful. Love them and their service. Will visit them again for same pizza.

Their website adversised real bacon for their Garlic fingers (and other items) I got whatever excuse for bacon this is. Ground pork maybe? Certainly not bacon, nor is it advertised properly. Get your **** together Alexandra's. I won't be ordering again. False advertising.

It was absolutely disgusting I ordered a clubhouse with fries and gravy the club was so dry it wasn’t fit I cut my mouth trying to eat it there was no chicken on it at all and the small pieces that were there had to of been a week old. They smothered my fries in gravy which is normally a good thing but they were so soggy and you could tell the chips underneath had been just sitting around for a while they were fresh. Highly disappointed.

Moved to this location with new owners. Good okay, not overly friendly and didn't look very clean.

I ordered delivery for lunch which I don’t normally do.
I ordered a club and fries. Well the toast was so burned on half the sandwich I had to separate what I could eat and toss the remaining.

Had a donair and it was great. Also had a Specialty pizza, and the chicken pcs on it were very dry, disappointing.

New management is really terrible. They messed up our orders twice now. We paid $3 extra for bacon and they forgot to put it on the pizza. They also somehow messed up pepperoni pizza. They forgot the pepperoni. They barely put any sauce or cheese on our pizza or garlic fingers. They used to be my favorite pizza spot but not anymore.

As a former worker in 'za and donair, I have to say this is the best donair I've had since moving to Fairview several years ago. The meat and pita were both lightly crisped on the grill, and not too much garnish. A win! Though I picked it up, I was pleased to note they are NOT using an expensive delivery service, which is rare. The family team was so great to deal with, too.

You can count on the consistency here. They always make amazing food and the prices match the portions and quality!

This pizzeria also does electric-oven pan pizzas that deserve recognition. The must-try is this three-meat feat, piled with chorizo, soppressata and smoked bacon, plus fior di latte, mozzarella and a one-two punch of San Marzano tomato sauce and cherry tomato confit.

It looks homemade—like it was lovingly prepped by someone who won’t be happy until you’re stuffed

In Halifax now so we had to switch which Alexandras we order from. My daughter is pretty loyal and always gets a large chicken poutine from here when we order take out.

My youngest has had the donair poutine, chicken poutine, and steak poutine. Loves them all.

My middle usually gets cheeseburgers or cheeseburgers and fries, and he said the burgers are really good!

The workers are nice and my kids are always comfortable going there to pick up food!

I order the honey garlic chicken pizza and all I tastes was honey! It felt I was eating a pancake! Worst ever pizza

4 years since I tried these Donairs still the best, Glad to be back in the area Of the emperor of donaires.

Ordered clubhouse and fries, and deep fried pepperoni.
2 small piece of bacon in the sandwich, bread was badly burned, the fries were old, crunchy and cold. Pepperoni was way over fried, rock hard, inedible and cold. I live a 2 minute drive up the street from the restaurant. Food should not have been cold.
My boyfriend picked apart the sandwich because he was starving. We also remembered what happened last time we had subpar food from here, absolutely nothing. Find somewhere else to order sandwich and fries from. Complete waste of $30.

Just ordered a large Brothers Pepperoni pizza. It came with no pepperoni other than a few slivers under the cheese. I called to complain and was met with animosity. He says Brothers Pepperoni is expensive! I know! That's why I paid 35. For it! No pepperoni. He argues with me.
Have been ordering from here for 5 years. No more. Rude rude ripoff.

Alexandra's in Fairview is the only place my family and I order pizza from. Their crew is great, and their pizza is always perfect. Thanks for being awesome, guys! Happy Easter!

I called and asked for the best Greek pizza in town, and he assured me that it was. I was a little skeptic. The pizza arrived in about 30 minutes and it was delicious. The owner/ worker called me back and asked if I was satisfied. I told I’m ‘hell yeah”. Great pizza and great service. Thanks

Love Alexandra's pizza! Before the pandemic, we had their pizza several times. This time we got two large pizzas. They were still delicious as usual, but this time the broccoli disappointed me a little bit. Generally I like the broccoli on Alexandra's pizza, but this time we can barely find the broccoli. I still like their pizza tho, I definitely wanna try different kinds of pizza next time!

Never follow order directions. Might be the worst Alexandra's Pizza in Halifax.

{EDIT} Did not call me 4 times. I do not know why one store would charge extra for something another Alexandra's does regularly for me.
There is also no way to add my requests in the ordering section. There is only one comment/request section and it is when you pay online and enter your card details.

Though it was super busy the time I came in for a take out order, the staff was very nice and let me know ahead that my order was gonna be a wait. They moved super fast and got my order much quicker than expected. I unfortunately didn't get the name of the server who helped us but she was very kind and even brought out order to our car. Would definitely order from Alexandra's Pizza again and their garlic fingers and pizza are very good!

I've been ordering from here (Fairview location) for over a year, and the pizza has always been fresh, hot, and delicious. Drivers are always nice, delivery in a reasonable time. Highly recommend the thin crust buffalo chicken. (I've ordered from Spryfield & Highfield Park over the years, and had the same positive experience)

Very bad customer service. We order deal and got raw wings. We called and asked to deliver us a wings which he was not ready to do that even we wait for more than 2 hours. After that also he was not ready to send driver. We were ready to give him raw wings. He want us to drive back to his store that we could not do as we were having 8 month baby with us he was sleeping. And my husband already left for his work. I was all alone by the baby and he want me to drive to his store for 10 wings. Very bad service. I asked for refund he said its my mistake that i did not ask them to do well done as i know how raw and how cooled wings are.

Good pizza, great donair, and most importantly, fantastic staff. Every time I go in they're extremely helpful and kind. They even broke my 5 doller bill into change for laundry. I highly recommend this place.

I highly recommend this place they have the best poutines in halifax. Once they forgot gravey for my poutine but they brought me a new one and it was delivery so that was great!:) they are only human everyone makes mistakes once in awhile.

Fairview location is the best pizza in HRM, the Canadian Classic is a true "classic" and absolutely delicious you cannot go wrong.try it!

My favorite place for a slice and pop. 5.00 taxes in, good pizza. Everyone there is always nice and friendly to me.

The donair was was like eating an oil slick, The worst one I have ever tasted. Didn't feel good for hours after eating it.

Beware of their food preparation. I ordered chicken shawarma around 11pm.the lady took pre prepared chicken from freezer and started heating it in microwave for 2 mins. She DID NOT remove the plastic wrap from the chicken. I was so hungry and ate that, it wasn't good at all. It's like rubber pieces.
I will never order shawarma here again.

I ordered a pizza from their online platform, asked for donair and onions on one side and some other stuff with ham on the other. I wrote in the comments about the donair sauce being added on top of the pizza, which you see at alot of places for donair style pizzas. I got a call saying my order was really confusing and they won't put donair sauce on the pizza. I said ok don't.and then it was delivered with donair sauce on the pizza? It was weird. Pizza was OK, tastes a bit off, but that could just be me.not as good as it usually is. I found this interaction strange, calling to confirm is one thing but it was an off putting conversation. I hope it is a one off because I always enjoyed their food.

Was in Halifax for a week and was told this was the place to get a donair. They were right. Will be stopping here next time.

Great pizza and delivery service is speedy. Lots of options and prices are fair for the pizza market. A great option for your personalised pizza. One of my faves are The Canadian Classic!

If you like hair in your pizza order from here. Then when I call im told i have to bring the pizza back. So i bring it back and the owner argues with me that is wasn't hair.

Awesome pizza is rare in Halifax. You won’t find it here BUT they do a good job. Get the Canadian Classic to start. Crust crisps up nice on a pizza steel or upper BBQ rack. Good donairs. Not too spicy. Bizarre poutine options aided by neither frozen fries nor factory gravy. Garlicky-ish fingers.meh. Delivery guys are great. Sub-par web sales portal sucks a little less every time. Fairview location is OK by me.

Worst pizza I ever had. Even after telling them about the certain topping they are not apologizing about the fact that they are wrong instead blaming us for getting that topping. Worst customer service. I wouldn't order from this location. And the manager is damn rude. Please first know how to talk to customer.

I called 20 min before they close and asked to make an order for pick up. Buddy said they stop taking orders 15 min to close. I mentioned it was 20 too. He said ya that’s when we stop taking order. Trash service. Will never go there again.

I didn't want tomatoes in my donairs. I asked for no tomatoes and then extra cheese, onions and sauce. They were good but the tomatoes were horrid.
