Angies Family Restaurant & Pizza

Cute little place with good food and service. Stopped in for lunch and had fish and chips along with seafood chowder. Food was fresh and tasty. Service was from the owners daughter (I asked who’s Annie and she responded it was her mom) and another young lady. Both were upbeat and friendly. I would definitely return.

The Pizza! Search no more, this is where the best pizza is served. Generous portions for an honest price. Order the meat lover or the deluxe, you will not regret it!

Food wasn’t good. Terribly under seasoned. Fish was over cooked. When I told them it wasn’t good they didn’t apologize or offer to remedy it at all. Service was insanely slow. Space is understandably small but the temperature was way too warm. All they needed to do was crack a window. Could smell the stinky bathroom air freshener while you’re eating. I reco finding another place to eat.

Nice and cozy place to stop after a hike! Food was excellent and our waitress was very friendly. Also, good selection of craft beers and A+ on serving it nice and cold and with a chilled glass!

Great service, but hours after eating we both had upset stomachs, and in my case it was a very long night.

OMG, the seafood chowder is freakin amazing. Only 12 bucks for a large bowl with biscuit. Would go back everyday if I could. A real find.

We had lunch here today. Food is tasty, home made and very well done. Service is kind. All clean and comfortable. We had seafood and salads, all fresh and tasty. Special mention to the chowder and to the apple pie: excellent!

OUTSIDERS STAY AWAY!
Highly unethical and rude business place.

It literally has ‘pizza’ in it’s name and when we went they told us they are out of pizza.they made us order something else and then made us wait for over an hour.
We felt so unwelcome just because we were outsiders.
They overcharged us for beer too.first the beer was $3.25 then suddenly they billed us for $8.50 a beer (domestic).

Highly racist.please find any other place to eat!

This unassuming little diner hides some of the best food in Cape Breton, if not Nova Scotia! I ordered the lobster roll just about everywhere I went and this one was probably the best. Lobster was cooked to perfection. The fries were fresh cut and fantastic, while the coleslaw was the BEST I had on our whole trip. The fish was also hard to beat.

If you're anywhere near here you HAVE to stop by!

If you want dried out Mcdouble size burger for the price of a juicy steakhouse gourmet burger in the City and you don't mind getting diarrhea, this is your paradise!

We got what can only be described as milky soup with a few fish flakes aka “seafood chowder” and a burger literally smaller and more pathetic than a Mac Donald’s happy meal burger for a grand total of almost $50. I’d have been embarrassed to serve that food if I worked there. Left hungry and angry. Total rip off.

“Family restaurant” isn’t just some throwaway line to get you to come inside. The food was great and felt homemade. My girlfriend’s eyes rolled in the back of her head when she had her club sandwich.

Grilled fish and the house burger were great, excellent service. Vegetables were a little bland. Great side salad.

A good place for a bite out in Cabot trail. I ordered the lasagna and found it a little dry…. But I also tried the grilled haddock and that tasted fresh and was tender. I’d recommend this spot in the area.

We were here in May when there are not many restaurants open in the area, but we are glad for that because it meant we got to eat here!

Don’t miss this place and their amazing food. We had the fries and lobster club which were incredible and there is a great general store just across the road.
