Brought in an old work iPad that was locked out, with unknown login. They were able to wipe and unlock for me in less than an hour. Reasonable wait times to speak with staff.

Austin & Kyle are absolutely terrible!
Thankfully the 1800 apple number was able to help me (also told me that they SHOULD have done this in the first place at the physical store, but instead Kyle and Austin decided to argue the whole time) could have saved a lot of effort and time if instead of yelling at me that “I’m not listening” they actually took the time to understand the situation.

Some employees are stuck up, others are just not knowledgeable. I’m still dumb for buying Apple products but i will just continue to make my purchases from other stores.

There are quite a few people bustling around here, as expected. Every time I visit, there seems to be an abundance of customers. However, the staff makes a valiant effort to attend to each individual with care and attention. To keep the young ones entertained, there are iPods provided for their amusement, which is a godsend for parents looking to save some time. The ambiance is pleasant and welcoming, and the service is courteous and accommodating. Furthermore, the establishment boasts an expansive area, ensuring that you will find everything you require here.

I don’t know his name but there’s a man who’s been working at the Genius Bar for years and he’s probably fixed all of my devices at least once at this point. He resolved an issue with my laptop today while simultaneously helping others because it was so busy. He knew exactly what he was doing and didn’t seem stressed at all. A tech wizard. Super professional and respectful of personal privacy. He would always ask if he was going to open an app or change a setting. I’m stupid when it comes to electronics and he answered all my dumb questions with poise. Turns out, I should update my laptop more than once a year or else the keyboard will malfunction and I won’t be able to log in. Who woulda thunk.

Good place to get an idea about Apple products. Service is very good too. People are helpful and they can give you clear answers for all your questions. But lot of Apple products are not available for on spot purchase. Ordering ahead recommended for pick up.

The staff Herr was very friendly and knowledgeable. They even took the time to ask what we were purchasing the iPad for and when we told them it was for school offered us a discount we had no idea was available.

On the positive side, the store looks nice and the employees I encountered were all genial. However, I had book an appointment at the “Genius” Bar about 2 weeks ahead. I the booking I said the battery needed to be replaced. I was there at the appointed time after driving an hour to the city then through traffic snarls and the construction site/parking lot to get to the mall entrance. The Apple store is pretty much at the opposite side and level from the main entrance. So I’m there and the “genius” says “l’ll just run a diagnostic to make sure there’s nothing else wrong. ” Ten minutes later genius tells me “There’s nothing wrong, but you need a battery. ” Fine. “And we don’t have any batteries in stock, so I’ll order one and it should be here in a few days. ” So there was no point arguing with circumstance, so I said I would have to do that in the new year (as I wasn’t about to go through holiday shopping traffic for this). So, bummed, I drive out of the city through the same snarls etc. A few kilometres from home, an hour away from the Apple store, I got an email from the Apple store. They now have the battery I need, and if I come in within the next 5 days they’ll be happy to replace my battery. If I can’t be there by they, they can’t guarantee my battery will be there
From now on, I’ll find a local genius and eliminate the hard drive.

Thank you for reinforcing staying with samsung products. My son tried to have his faulty earpods replaced with his previously purchased apple care plan tonight. Both the CSR and assistant manager spoke over him multiple times and denied the warranty coverage. Very very poor customer service.

My partner and I visited the Halifax store on the evening of Friday 07 October 22. Our intention was to purchase a new iPhone 14promax and a new Ipad. We were in the store in excess of 45 minutes. Looked at phones and IPads, walked around the store. There were lots of staff, but yet not one person approached us to see if we needed help, despite the fact several staff were aware we were in the store. In the end our plan to spend around $4k walked out the door with us. This is not the first time this has happened to us in this store. We are of an older generation, reasonable tech savvy, but have on past experience gotten the impression that the staff are not interested in serving people who fall in the “older age” bracket.

My wife purchased an Apple Watch SE in 2021 from the Apple Store. After 18 months of use, it is completely dead. We have been told the only option is to pay $289 for repair or replacement. That is over half the cost of a new watch! Is this what Apple product reliability and support are coming to? I miss the old days.

Extremely poor service and most all the calls are rerouted to the USA. They cannot tell you the status of your order. They cancelled an order without any reason and did not notify. This is Apple and should excel at customer service.

I have a 2015 MBP with a bulging battery that is on the recall list. Store refuses to tell me if they have replacement batteries in stock unless I drive 90 mins to the store.

Staff broke my iPhone that was under warranty and refused to replace or fix the issue. Wouldn’t even admit that they broke it which was absurd, it wasn’t damaged and worked fine when I brought it in, then tried to get me to buy a brand new one instead. Thankfully I talked to service and they were very apologetic for the mishap and agreed to replace it. Wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone. 0 stars would be more appropriate like the last review said.

Front mic of 18 month old I-Pad stopped working, went to Genius Bar who ran all diagnostics and told me that the mic was non repairable. My options were to buy either a refurbished unit or buy new. Neither of there options were palatable. Went to GEEBO and they repaired the unit for free. The problem was the mic was dirty and they cleaned it.working well.

We didn’t have appointments. We came walk in and they saw us right away and told us to wait for 40 min and sharp 40 min we got text to see the tech. The tech was really helpful and solve our problem

Props to Royal and Kayla for being the absolute best salespeople I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with! My best friend and I have been in and out of this particular store multiple times recently and not only have they have both been extremely helpful in in answering any questions about any of the products, but also went above and beyond to even help us with gift-card complications. They are the best to ask for candid shopping advice as well as they both have your best interest in mind and shared the best bang for our buck instead of plugging us to the most expensive deal at the store, or try to upsell and make you buy the latest product with features you don't need. Whether its iPads, iPhones, MacBooks or AirPods, they're both extremely knowledgable and I highly recommend that you talk to either of them before purchasing an Apple product.

I got an iPhone 12 with a 2 year plan and flashing on the screen started happening before the 2 years ended and the only way to get it fixed is by paying $400 even though it should be covered.

I'm not an Apple user but my mother needed a new phone. They were so patient and explained everything. They even told her to think about the selections and only talked about the items that she was interested in.

Its been my second time here and i waited too long as per expected. One of the representative told us to stay on position and they never came to us until we go to them and ask them for their help again. Very bad experience not expected Such a big brand to give such a bad service.

Went to “Genius Bar” Fri Oct 8th at 3: 15pm
Brand new M series Mac Book Air
Fingerprint ID not working. He takes my machine comes back 20 mins later- shows me ID is working and says all set.
I arrive home and open laptop- EVERYTHING IS GONE!
I then had to hire a remote IT specialist for $250 to re set up my laptop. Nice one!
What an excruciating experience. Thanks “Genius”

Went into the store to ask a tech for assistance fixing the connections on the inside of my iPhone 6 and after 2 seconds of looking with a flashlight looking in the charger port and where the SIM went in said it was unfixable and then offered me a new one for 400$. I went to Best Buy a got an iPhone & for 0$ during their family and friends mobile event. Probably won’t be back in the future.

The bitter truth is that Tim Cook and the rest of Apple's decision-makers have made money and profits a top priority, and quality and sophistication have become an afterthought. When it comes to both hardware and operating systems, we can see how Apple has become "very lax".

Let's talk a bit about some of its latest products. First, we'll be talking about iPhone 8, frankly it's an iPhone 7s. Although many people have been thankful for this update saying they changed the phone background and the like, it's a very modest update, But even worse, it was deliberately mediocre, because the company wanted its customers not to use it until they replaced it for the best and most beautiful update of iPhone.
I think the problem is that there are not enough courageous people to express their rejection of such neglect, and to tell them that the company will not issue this "lazy" version of the phones with that stupid snout, which Steve Jobs was already doing, Prevent myself from imagining the face (Steve) when they come with this design laugh in their faces and then send them back to the workshops design to come up with something better
And from there to hold Apple responsible for what it does with its phones, and to stop wasting money on its products only because they have bad badge on Apple, in the meantime may only reconsider the company's policies, until that time, the company will remain as it is because no one asked Of which change is simple.
