Getting headshots can be awkward and uncomfortable, for most it isn’t something we do that often. Liams positive energy is contagious! Which helped me feel comfortable & relaxed, resulting in some pretty awesome photos ;)
He gives great direction and has helped me achieve my vision every, single, time.

Had a funny experience booking them - turned out that their system wasn't working as they thought. I sent them a video of what I was seeing from my side, and they were able to solve the issue in minutes and get things on the way. Great service!

Great experience getting grad portraits done by Liam at Applehead! He was so patient and kind, making me feel comfortable and working collaboratively with me to get the perfect portrait.

Liam is extremely unprofessional and rude. Do not be surprised if he cancels on you and then refuses to refund you.

I would just like future clients to be aware that when you book portraits with Applehead studios, you are taking the risk that your appointment is cancelled 20 minutes before the shoot is supposed to take place. I had received multiple emails that my session was confirmed including an hour before the appointment, and then it was cancelled. I received no form of compensation from the company for their last minute cancellation. I had paid to have my hair and makeup done, travel to those appointments, and was at the studio when I received an email that my appointment was cancelled. Liam offered a $75 credit, however, this does not cover the expenses I spent due to his mistake and short notice, and I do not want to rebook as Liam could not guarantee me that this mistake would not happen again (so I never received any compensation).

Wow, Ash and Rich were absolutely awesome. Right from the moment they arrived, they were so friendly and supportive.

Anytime there was a moment we hoped would be captured, they were already there. They took charge when they needed to and they were always upbeat and positive, bringing such a warm energy.

The best way to sum up how we felt was when Ash and Rich said their goodbyes, we both said we were going to miss them! I hope we have an opportunity to meet again!

As much I'd hate to say it, I had a very unreasonable and unprofessional experience/interaction with this studio (the person who answers the phone). Sorry, but I do not recommend this place.

I cannot recommend Applehead Studio often enough. Steph and Liam's passion for photography was beyond what we expected. We always wanted to work with them - from their fun and "cheeky" shots to the rip-your-heart-out-deep-love moments, they seemed to always have the perfect photos. They captured all of these and more at our wedding. Even when we had family concerns, and weird hotel rooms, Liam and Steph kept cool, professional, and above all, kind. Thank you for giving us the moments that we cherish of family members near, far, and no longer with us. We would not have changed a thing (well, maybe been better hosts/clients to you!)

These guys are incredible! Our wedding was photographed by Liam & Steph. They were very professional and so much fun all at the same time. All of our friends and family loved them. It felt like we invited 2 more amazing friends we never knew we had. Our photos are more magical and beautiful than we could have ever imagined. They captured our special day perfectly and left us with heaps of memories to last a lifetime. I cannot recommend Applehead enough!

Liam did our headshots for work and he was honestly such a rockstar. He is so personable and warm, it was such a lovely experience!

They did a friends wedding, in a safe and professional manner following all guidelines in place.

PS: I noticed some very negative reviews relating to the pandemic, and just grow up, if you don't care a about safety, well you do you, but don't expect a professional business to tell someone to go to a unsafe event just so you can have your photos.

We have been to many events shot by Applehead and the photo's and staff have always been amazing. My sister recently booked Applehead for her upcoming Fall 2022 wedding, communication has always been fast, kind, informative and accommodating. Their photos and videos speak for themselves, they do an amazing job and authentically capturing beautiful moments.

I had prom photos taken by Applehead Studio Photography at the start of the pandemic and they turned out amazing. They are very professional, and I would definitely recommend!

Took a deposit of $500 and now canceled because the clients are not fully vaxed and were not forcing guests to be. Kept the deposit though! Be sure before handing over your money.

The photos beautifully hold the emotion of one of the most special days of our lives. They were amazing! They were with us all day, shot beautiful photos both posed and in the moment, photos of family and friends.
They also scouted out gorgeous spots along the way for us to do our photos. They were professional and always responsive with communication.
They shoot our family photos every year, So we get to catch up with Liam, he is amazing, and so wonderful with my kids and patient. He has done amazing getting my kids engaged and comfortable with him.

I also worked with Ashley before my wedding, for my boudoir photos. She was so wonderful to make me feel comfortable and confident!

I would highly recommend any member of the Applehead team for all of your photography needs!
