Favourite breakfast in Halifax! Took my mom here when she visited and she was obsessed. The food is always awesome and super fast.the line is worth it (it also moved very fast so don't be deterred)

Been coming here since I was a kid in the 90s. Looks the same as ever, with a very affordable menu

Just wanted to say that i love their food so much every weekend i am ordering food from here and i just love it…!
I have never been to the tea room in person i always order on doordash! Hopefully one day i will drop by and dine in!

There was a short wait outside but it was a nice day so that was fine. The service was prompt and the food arrived quickly. The sausages were a little on the oily side but otherwise it was a good breakfast. Great atmosphere. I would come back for sure.

There was a short wait outside, but once seated our orders were taken, food was served, and our bills given very promptly. The server was a bit terse, but prompt with anything we needed. The food was a good homestyle breakfast, filling and inexpensive, but some parts were a bit lower in quality (mainly the breakfast sausage). Overall I would return and recommend.

If you can get in without waiting in line, you know it's your lucky day! There's nothing quite like getting breakfast at the Ardmore Tea Room. It's got a video of its own that mixes the charm of a classic dinner with the modern attention to detail that is needed to be such an award winning restaurant! This place is a Halifax institution, a right of passage for those new to the city, and a staple for those who know the joy that comes when it's your turn to order

Visited a few times. Love the egg benedict with Hollandaise and strawberry milkshake!
(However the steak wasn't good.)

It's cash only but worth it. I had an ice coffee and clubhouse sandwich, both were delicious. I love how they put mannequins in the booths to avoid sitting toclose to anyone during this pandemic

I love love love this place! The portions are huge, the food is delicious, and the price is so right. The absolute best breakfast and diner food in the city. You will never be disappointed leaving this place!

Love this place.all day breakfeast.large variety.nice staff.it was full when I arrived but within 5 minutes they had a table for me.service was instant and food came within 5 mins. 2 eggs 2 toast 6 pieces of bacon 2 sausage 2 ham slices and cup of coffee. 9 bucks.

Good food, fast service. But the portions seemed smaller than they used to be and the waitress asked if we wanted one or two bills and brought one despite us asking for two.

Still the best place for breakfast in Halifax. It's simple and relaxed, staff are nice. The prices are good and you're coffee will remain full. I like the option of trading meat for falafel and the tzatziki is great.

The Ardmore is one of my must visit places to eat when I am in Halifax. It never disappoints! This visit I had their Jacked Breakfast Poutine, and it was great, although I should have asked for extra hollandaise.

Delicious breakfast, excellent service. For Sunday service expect a large line even at 8 am, however the service is fast.

Covid has ruined even this fine place. Service was not the greatest. The breakfast was not cooked to specifications. Was very disappointed.

I am a long-time fan of Ardmore, but I had a disappointing experience today. In the past, I have always ordered the three slices of french toast with blueberries, which cost about 7 or 8 dollars. Today, I noticed their menu has changed, and now it is $10 for two slices of french toast (albeit larger slices) and a side of meat. I asked the server if it would be possible to swap out the meat for some fruit, and she said they had blueberries. It was delicious as usual, but when I got the bill, I had been charged $11.25 for my french toast and blueberries.
I don't think that this meal was worth more than the french toast with the side of meat. I would be pacified if it cost the same $10, but really it should cost less in my opinion.
Cheap french toast with blueberries was my favourite Ardmore brunch! Please bring it back!

Very impolite customer service. My server K was rude to me and impatient. It is very unusual to for Canadians to have rude customer service and I must say I’m disappointed. I hope they will take my customer feedback seriously. I don’t hold grudges but would love to see improvement.

Food was great. Staff super friendly. I was wondering why our server did not wear a mask. First restaurant I've eaten in since they opened again where staff was not masked up. But always good food there.

My fiance and I went here and the staff was extremely friendly and food was incredible! The pricing is extremely low for such great food, I highly recommend eating here. Definitely nice to get that small town diner vibe and friendliness while co-vid is rocking the world.

This place is great. Total diner vibes, I love it! The prices are amazing for the portions you receive, and the food tastes so good. The perfect place for a Sunday morning breakfast. It can get pretty busy though from what I’ve heard, but it’s worth the wait!

Stopped off here randomly one morning for breakfast and I was pleasantly surprised.
Food was delicious and some of friendliest staff I have ever met.
Your almost like family when you come for food.
Will definitely go again.

This very well may be the best diner in Halifax, if not the Maritimes.

All the classic diner options are available plus a few modern vegetarian offerings, like falafel instead of bacon. Allowing one to get waffles instead of toast is genius. The coffee is what you'd expect.

Our server was on the ball. Food came to the table within 5 minutes of ordering and everything was cooked perfectly.

I hope to go back to the Ardmore soon!

Visiting from the states and out of all the breakfast places I’d come back to this one. Really good food a great price. The wait staff were friendly and the atmosphere was really chill.

Amazing french toast with local blueberries! It comes presented better than this but the only photo I took was after I pilled them on service was great considering how busy the place was. An excellent lil classic diner.

Cheap, consistent and simple. This diner is a great spot and nothing fancy. Always busy but servers are quick and pleasant.

It's ok. We came for breakfast on a Tuesday morning in August. Margarine on the toast turned me off fairly quickly. Fried potato chunks for home fries didn't impress me. One person in my group ordered eggs Benedict; we all tried it and agreed the hollandaise sauce was terrible, eggs were overcooked and the dish was just generally poor. Coffee was good enough, service was prompt, fried eggs, scrambled eggs, etc were ok.

Delicious! There was a bit of a line when I went, but it was very worth the cramped wait. The servers are super nice & the food is so good. I tried the breakfast poutine & my son got the chocolate chip pancakes.
