This was the fastest and easiest car purchase I have ever experienced. Ankit was very knowledgeable about the car I was buying. He was upfront and honest, which I knew because I had already done my own research on the car and price. I would definitely recommend ankit Not only did we get a great deal, he was very easy to work with and made the process simple and fast. Thanks ankit.

Had a great experience. My salesperson Colby your a rock star. Got the vehicle I wanted at the price I wanted and Colby even delivered it because I couldn't get down to grab it. HOLY smokes great job can't say enough good things about these guys. Keep up the good work

I went to Auction Direct for my first ever car. I was working with Ankit for the process and he was amazing to work with. He was quick to reply and kept me updated along the whole process. He and Judy-Ann were amazing at explaining everything and ensured I was well informed. I highly recommend Halifax Auction Direct to anyone who is in the look for a new car!

Not the best experience. Communication was abysmal, it took days to hear back and they only gave us updates when we reached out to them. When the financing for the car came back higher and we couldn’t proceed, there was no effort on their part to show us other options that would fit our needs. It felt like we were a nuisance to them, wouldn’t recommend.

Aweful customer service. I clicked the link for a CARFAX report & this guy 'Ankit' emailed me & said he'd answer any questions I may have, but no CARFAX report was sent to me. The vehicle is already $800 overpriced according to Autotrader, I replied and asked if he'd take a lower price, and I asked several questions about the car. In my next email, still no CARFAX report, he just says there's nothing wrong with the car. If you read other buyer's stories on here, you'll see that people have had serious problems after buying from this place. All my questions were ignored, so I sent another email asking if he was really going to send me the CARFAX report or not, he sends me pictures if a report instead of the actual link, I tried using a magnifying glass to read these pictures, but a microscope would have been better. In the other CARFAX report links that i've received from other dealers (without delay I may add) there's a link to expand the details so you can see the service records, this was not shown in his tiny pictures, so I emailed him asking for the link, he emails back saying there's no expanded version, that's b.s, there IS an expanded link within the CARFAX report. I wasn't feeling very good about the runaround I received, so I told him he never answered any of my questions (which is true) therefore I am going to take my business to these two other dealers instead (also true). Then he sends me a nasty rmail saying I have attitude. Buddy lost a car sale because he can't seem to do his job (or see his own attitude), and I was going to buy the car with a credit card, no payments. His loss. I do not recommend anyone waste their time contacting this dealer, go elsewhere like i'm doing.

Not mature enough for remote delivery sales.

After a bit longer than expected process to buy a CR-V 2018 remote (Took around two weeks, not that bad). I received the vehicle with two issues. The first one, the buttons to lower the rear windows from the driver seat were non-functioning. The second one took a bit longer for us to discover, but after three minutes of engaging the wipers, the wiper motor would overheat and jam, leaving us with no other options than parking on the side of the road. I get that I didn't buy an extra warranty, but those issues were there before and were not disclosed.

On the 8th of August, I engaged with my salesman (Very kind and polite all the way), and told me a service advisor would call me to see what are my options, took a week or so, got the call I explained my problems. He then told me he was going on vacation, but when he'd be back, he would talk to some folks internally, and get back to me with options (As I live 7 hours drive from there). I had no choice but to go to a local garage to fix the wiper motor issue, as it was life-threatening (It cost me close to 500$).

Four weeks later, never heard back from the service advisor. I then reached out again to my salesman, and if they would agree to pay half the bill it cost me to replace the motor. Again, told me a service advisor would get back to me.

Well, never heard back from anybody after that. Been close to two months now.
I get that they are probably short-staffed (Like anybody), but that's not my problem.
I get that selling a car remotely can be challenging, but a better checklist before shipping vehicles would have saved both of us lots of time.

Pro: awesome pre-sales services. My salesman Alan MacDonald was A+ all the way. Communicative, professional.
Cons: Post sales is pretty awful.

Great dealer! Andre and the rest of the staff were helpful, professional, and courteous. I got the car I wanted at a fantastic price!
Update: when my car was damaged by flood water, I went back to Auction Direct asap. Nicki was super helpful in getting me another fantastic vehicle quickly. The fact that her dog was there to oversee the sale was some pretty serious icing on the cake!

Great selection of cars, low prices. My car was delayed due to parts for repairs wait time, however I was kept in the loop at all times. Excellent service. Highly recommended!

Nicki was an absolute gem to deal with. No BS and a straight shooter. She was able to work with my budget and had a solution to get me what I needed. This was my second time buying a vehicle from Auction Direct and Nicki’s hand shake is among the firmest in securing the deal. Will be back to see her for my next purchase.

We purchased a 2020 Sorrento from Auto Direct in June of 2023. Working with Natalie was incredibly easy - she was attentive and communicated quickly and effectively through text and email. I was able to choose, test drive, get fiancing and purchase the car within 2 days. Within a week we had trouble with our tires - which Natalie (Sales) and Ryan (service manager) promptly took care of- replacing the tires on Auto Direct's tab. Can't say enough good things!

Had a great experience with Natalie and Darren. Told Natalie what I was looking for and she delivered. Right to my driveway 2 hours away. Painful credit but Darren got me into a muchly needed new vehicle. Thanks guys, you've created a repeat customer that will definitely suggest friends head your way if I hear they're in the market.
