Of course. As with all of these Irving locations, the staff are always friendly and efficient. The cleanliness is impeccable and the food is always delicious. It was wonderful to see the efficiency of even those kids who have been hired on as summer help. Well trained staff make for great service.

Even for such a busy spot, service was quick. From what I've tried on the menu so far, the food is delicious. Will be back again for sure

Restaurant gone to the dogs. Very disappointing compared to how it used to be. Waitresses were pleasant. Food had to go back tho. Real bad.

The staff is very welcoming/friendly! There is a nice variety on the menu! I love their French fries & milk shakes (the all-day breakfast is pretty nice too)!

We were welcomed as some sort of celebrities. Ppl were extremely friendly and sweet.
We took the dish of the day: what was right choice and no need to wait.
Will stop by next time again!

Had fish and chips batter was different then fish and chips I had before but was very very good. Waitress was nice. Service was great food nice and hot and fresh.

The service was top notch and the food was delicious will be there again sometime for sure would recommend big stop for sure great place to go.

Called to ask how busy restaurant was. Waitress said not too busy. Arrived 3 minutes later. Big line up at the door. Staff needs better training. If you want to stand in line this is the place to go.

Convenient location on mainland side of Canso causeway with bathrooms, restaurant, gasbar, NSLCC and store.

As always, the food was very good. Exceptional service from Danna. Every wait staff should be as friendly and personable as her. Only downfall of this lunch/dinner is that there was no space in the tummy for dessert. Next time we'll go in for dessert only.

I eat here often great food. All day breakfast for a great price. Burgers and fries are good wraps, salads and clubhouse sandwiches

The lasagna lunch special was delicious. The waitresses were friendly and very courteous. I will definately be back for more of the chocolate cake and coffee. Perfect size for sharing!

Very clean bathrooms, store has anything you could ask for, and the restaurant has incredible food. Well worth the stop on the way to cape Breton or returning.

My husband and I just had lunch at the Aulds Cove Big Stop. It was extremely busy. Our wait time was decent, 20 minutes for a table. Restaurant was clean, sanitized and very relaxing. Food was fantastic. My husband had the the Big Breakfast and I had the Chef Salad. Big portions for the price. Our
waitress, Randi was awesome. She made sure we had what we needed and apologized for the wait for our food. We appreciated the apology but we knew they were busy. The wait was not long in our opinion. We stopped here for lunch. The food was good and the service was terrific.

This is the 3rd time I have gone in and been seated with my kid and had other tables that have come in after me get service first. 5 waitresses were all standing behind your service area chatting up a storm with a half full restaurant. I work in the restaurant industry and I know the recent challenges make it harder that's for sure.

Food is great, but unfortunately the hours have changed and now are only open at 8am for take out or dine-in, which is sad given most of the local blue collar workers start their shifts at 7am and are unable to stop for breakfast or even order take out in the mornings on their way to work or even on their way home after a long nightshift. Unfortunately now it is only Tim Hortons open early enough to accomodate the locals and passing long haul drivers in the earlier hours.

A great viewpoint to see the Strait of Canso and a lovely big parking and picnic area to get refreshed from a long drive.

We ate here this morning, for breakfast. The food was fantastic. The only thing better than the food was our server, Irene. She went above and beyond while we were there, and kept us in stitches the entire time. Truly a great experience.

We were travelling and stopped here last night for supper, which was delicious, so then we returned for breakfast this morning. We were lucky enough to have the same server both times, Irene. Irene was funny, quick, friendly and attentive. Couldn't ask for better. Thank you so much Irene. Have a wonderful few days off.

Not a bad place to stop before getting over the Causeway. Always busy since it is either from locals or tourist. Although I know it's just down the street I wish they had a coffee shop in here too besides the restaurant.

The nice waitress was not familiar with the menu. The wait for our food long. The price is outrageous for the quality of the meals. I would not recommend.

This is my go to place when I travel from the North Sydney Ferry. The food is very tasty and you can tell someone knows how to make a meal the right way. It's a busy spot with a lot of parking. You can buy home baked goods, gas for your vehicle, and/or pick up many different items in the gift shop/convenience store. I got the chance to stop there again in 2021. They have renovated the restaurant and mad it much nicer!

Great place to stop after getting off the night crossing of the Newfoundland ferry. It avoids the crunch at restaurants and gas stations near North Sydney.

Servers were friendly but service was a little slow. We also had to ask for more coffee rather than being offered it which is customary in most restaurants offering breakfast.

I had the eggs Benedict which, while not cooked to my requested doneness, were quite good. My spouse enjoyed very much her BLT sandwich served on a mini sun roll and had grilled chicken.

Irving takes pride on their clean bathrooms and this location was no exception.

We love coming here. The food is delicious and the staff are so friendly. We always stop on our way off of Cape Breton and the way back. We have to make a special trip up as our son requested it for his 7th birthday dinner.

They always seem busy when I come through, which is a great sign that it is a great place to stop and eat. There is a large conveince store and have many fuel pumps. They now have a Bark Park by the ocean so dogs have a safe place that is fenced so dogs can do there business. They even supply dog litter bags and there is also a garbage can.

The food here was delicious! More importantly we were served by Irene who I must say is one of the best and friendliest server's I have ever met.
