Barrachois Provincial Park

Small picnic park that is well maintained and scenic. Nice place to stop for a rest.

It's good and peaceful place. But nothing much to explore. Fall is the best time to visit.

Small, hidden away picnic park that we discovered on our way to northern Cape Breton. Very well hidden in the trees on a hill so you almost don’t notice it when you drive by. That’s what made it appealing to us. However, people obviously know it well, as there were multiple people in there having a picnic when we drove through. I would definitely come back to enjoy this one. No amenities, but it had an outhouse and picnic tables everywhere.

Quiet little park, a great stop for a picnic or bathroom break for a pet.
