I would definitely recommend this place for your pet, the doctor is very professional and the other assistants are very friendly. The most important thing is that they really respect your pets. What's more, my kitten got his first vaccine there, and the hospital prepared a starter kit for me, which included snacks, external and internal dewormers for cats and lots of brochures to teach me how to take care of my kitten. We recently joined the Bedford Parks Animal Hospital. Our 14.5 year old Yorkie, a Silverback and Tan female yorkie, Molly, developed Trachia collapsing, fluid on the lungs and CHF. Right out of the gate we received unconditional support and love from the staff at the hospital. Dr. C Bitar took care of Molly and advised us on diagnosis, treatment, expectations, etc. Wow what an awesome professional Vet a person born for this type of work. The Dr.explained everything well, what we are facing, what it may be like for our darling Molly to die at home or going the euthinization route. It was clear, Molly's end of life was approaching fast. Outstanding about the Dr.and staff was to make quality of life as good as it can be in the end stages under quickly changing circumstances. What also blew my mind is the donor program this animal hospital runs. The Dr.was concerned about the fluid buildup that would improve a little with high IV dosages only to loose ability to create a complete turnaround. We knew that extending live is not in the best interest of our darling Molly. We scheduled one final checkup visit one week out, and if no improvement really, then it was that time. Molly was an Alpha Female, a little fighter of note. The Dr admired her for that. She started showing improvement becoming her old self again. But really only to show a brave face, especially towards my wife, whom Molly absolutely adored. She was everything to Molly. Molly was possessive over my wife, and very protective. She was a rescue with her sister Tinkerbell, also a yorkie. We adopted both together in 2016.
Unfortunately we had to take the dreaded step in putting her down to prevent a serious condition impacting quality of live, especially if she had to die at home. It would not have been fair to Molly.
Throughout the euthinization procedure, the Dr.and staff were open, supportive engaging and carried out the procedure with dignity and unconditional love, warmth and SUPPORT.
RIP Molly girl, you are with Tinkerbel now.
We still have our 2y black Rat Terrier, a rescue from Mexico. We look fwd to long lasting relations with you folks.

Take all our pets her. My dog literally gives out hugs to the staff and they all go out of their way to make them comfortable.

My kitten is a new patient here but I was very appreciative and impressed by the care he received. They also called me to follow up and check on him a few days after he was seen for some stomach issues.

I also called for a quote for his neutering & they emailed it to me right away and were able to book me in within a week to have him neutered! Looking forward to taking my little guy back soon and knowing that he will be very well looked after while he spends the day with them during his surgery?

They were also respectful to my partner as her and I are in a queer relationship and it’s nice knowing that even in a place like the vets office, we are still treated with respect and kindness.

They squeezed us in first thing in the morning when our kitty stopped eating and our regular vet did not have appointments available. The assistants and techs are so friendly. The veterinarian was so sweet and very thorough, as well as making sure we were involved in any decision making processes. She followed up with us multiple times during the day while kitty was hospitalized. WE definitely will recommend to others!

Had our cat in for a regular checkup with Dr. MacFarlane (hope spelling is right) and she was exceptional. Our cat is very skittish/anxious cat and she was doing everything she could to help our cat feel comfortable, as well as treating our cat with care. The visit was great and very informative. From all of the vet trips our cat has had over the years, I would say this was the best trip she’s had to make and we hope to get the same vet next time.

I was so impressed by the staff, the facility and the service. They made us feel like my puppy was the most important puppy ever. Everyone was so pleasant from booking the appointment to saying goodbye. If I didn’t live so far this would definitely be my new vet clinic. I HIGHLY recommend going there for your animal’s wellness and to receive VIP service.

My cats have have officially been introduced to all of the Vets, Techs and Vet assistants at the clinic and they have been treated like family! Every single time I have called in with an illness or injury, they have been able to get me in as quick as they can. They have feliway plug-ins in all the rooms which help reduce stress for the kitties. They are all so gentle, patient and have taken the time to get to know about each of my cats needs.

A huge shout out to Dr. Karyn Steele and Vet Tech Peyton. Our foster dog is + terrified of nail trims and they did amazing work, even finding and removing a tar covered stone embedded in between his paw pads! Wildcard had to go to the vet's today because she had what ended up being a badly sprained elbow. Couldn't get into our regular vet, so after calling around, found a spot at Bedford Parks Animal Hospital - I've gotta say, they were amazing and all about the fear-free vet visits. The poster on the wall behind Wildcard here is one of the posters about it. The exam rooms (at least the cat one we were in) have windows to look out to the parking lot, which was such a great distraction for Wildcard. We decided together to muzzle her for the actual exam because her body language was iffy once the vet touched her (she's not really a bite risk to vets, but she's never been in pain at a vet visit either, so we didn't want to take any chances, and the vet commended us on her leerburg muzzle!), and she was an angel, even laid down after a little while. It looks like the place is new, so if you're looking for a fear-free vet, this may be your place. Not that we don't love our vet, but I would honestly switch if this one were closer, it was that great of an experience! Wildcard looked at the vet and me after and was like "what? That's it? We're done? " Thank you for the most successful and least fearful vet visit of my baby's life ️

Our dog is reactive and requires a lot of patience. The whole team there is so welcoming and treats us and our giant beast very well!

My new Vet; worth the drive. My old vet (Spryfield) could not get my boy in for two weeks. Next day appointment with Doc MJ at Bedford Parks. Initial checkup, test, two scripts and specially UTI food; all under 200 bucks. This is my new vet. Hands down.

These guys are just fantastic to deal with. From my first phone call to book an appointment to the moment we walked in the door they treated both myself and our puppy so well. No one ever looks forward to a vet visit but they made our first experience awesome. Thanks guys. Mo can’t wait to see you all again

Recently visited for the first time. Great, caring staff and helpful for fixing our under-the-weather kitty. Phoned a couple days later to check in and see how she was doing.

We received compassionate, caring service from Dr. Bitar and her team with the care of our two senior cats. When it was time to put them to sleep, from the phone call to the clinic to the actual procedure we received sensitive, empathetic, and professional support. I cannot express how pleased we were with how our cats were cared for by this incredible team.

Stellar. It was our first time today. Even before getting there, service was excellent. We managed to book an appointment only 4 days in advance. The whole experience made me feel like we were in a fancy dog spa or hotel. Both the dog and I got water upon checking in. We were seen very quickly by Dr. Kellie, the nicest and most dedicated vet I've met anywhere. She spent time checking everything, from ears to heart beats, asking questions about diet, behaviour and whatnot. We both left very happy. I really hope they keep the same level of service and commitment for as long as they are there.

Great pricing, not trying to rip you off like almost every other vet! They very much care about their clients and always go the extra mile! Definitely worth switching vets for. I've been to 3 different vets this year. I've moved all my business to here.

The vet and staff were absolutely fantastic - very adept, professional, and focused on making our dog's experience as positive as possible. Which is not easy with our pup (2.5 year old, 50lb Cur mix) who is a rescue and who flips out in pain and terror - has clearly been badly hurt in the past.

We needed to see the Vet in a hurry and they were able to accommodate us that same day. (that was amazing and a relief. When we arrived we received a warm welcome. The entire team was first class.

Our 2 cats enjoyed their week long stay at their boarding facilities.

The staff were amazing - they asked lots of questions about our kitties to get to know them. They seemed to truly care about our pets in order to provide the best quality care. The room the cats stayed in was nice - it was big, had a cat tree, beds, and shelves for the cats to sleep / play. Plus they had a web cam so we could check in on our cats anytime. And all at a very reasonable rate!

Just took our cat Tiggs to this vet, which has opened recently. Our experience was fantastic and it felt that the vet and techs truly cared about our cat. I will absolutely be taking our pets here going forward.

After an emergency visit to the 24/7 clinic in Dartmouth with my cat I decided to bring him to BPAH, and I am so pleased with everyone I've spoken with here and the care my fur baby has received. The staff were exceptional. We brought our pup in for his first vet visit. They created a very welcoming environment for him and us. The staff was skillful, our pup didn’t even seem to notice getting his shots, which seemed like a magic trick to us. Sent us home with some complimentary stuff and great advice, and our pup didn’t want to leave. Great first experience with a Vet clinic!

What a great place! The staff are so friendly, caring and helpful. I love the extra mile they go for their patients. And the food and supplies section is so well stocked, with a great selection. It’s very clean, and welcoming as soon as you enter.
