Well, I guess I should share my experience. That way, nobody has to go through the problems I did. A little over 12 years ago, I switched internet plans to a 100 MB Fiber Optic internet with Bell. They gave me a battery backup modem at the time those were brand new, 5 years later the battery dies, I call them they tell me it's an old modem so I need to update it, I asked him if there's any way to replace it and keep my internet plan, they tell me no but I can keep the modem and upgrade my internet plan because they can do it all wirelessly, they gave me a new plan which was cheaper so I decided sure why not but what about replacing my modem? They tell me that they never replace modems and that there's no reason to replace that one, fast forward 7 years of on and off calling, getting threatened of Blacklist and trying to upcharge me almost $300 a month, I finally get on the phone again after a 6-hour wait and being transferred 17 times to the Quebec branch, because according to them "Nova Scotia is not part of Canada" that makes a whole lot of sense, I'm finally able to get them to replace the modem, however, they want me to pay a $100 charge for the modem, then a 200 charge per month, yeah that's not going to happen, so after staying on the phone for another 3 hours they decide to keep my same internet package, not change my bill and replace the modem, they then tell me to give the old modem to a bell store and get a receipt printed saying I returned it so they don't charge me $400, right after telling me this Mark, which was the technician on the phone I was talking to, told me that most times the reason you need the receipt is the people at the store do not register that you returned the item, so I'm saying this as a warning to anyone canceling your service, they will try to upcharge, you take pictures of everything! Take videos of everything, know your rights as a consumer, and get a receipt! They tried doing this to my grandfather as well, they tried to upcharge him $1,000 for stuff that he returned over 6 years ago, he took it to court and luckily he won hopefully you guys don't have to go through that pain too. The very upsetting thing about it is Eastlink doesn't have very good internet either, but there sadly just isn't much options out here, I would rather go with a company that's going to value my time, than a company that's just money hungry on people that are hurting already. The other said thing is people in Quebec and Ontario get way better internet than us Nova scotians it's like a totally new world there.

It is an amazing place with the highest level of service! I want to admit that Brett is the most helpful person I’ve ever met.
As we are new in Canada, he helped us with all services and was extremely nice and welcomed. That you guys for everything you’re doing an amazing work!

Sandeep has been amazing since I started with Bell last year - he’s quick, efficient, and always happy to assist. Overall though, the store and other staff are friendly and helpful, and make it a pleasure being with Bell.

So far, I've not had the best experience yet.

They created my online account and 2 days back, they sent me three reminders that a technician will come at 8 AM today morning to have it setup, and that the whole process will take around 45 minutes.

My work starts at 10 AM, so I could wait at most till 9: 15 AM, so that I would be able to work from home.

I came at 8 AM sharp and waited till 9: 15 AM, but no one showed up. - No call, nothing!

Basically, it looked to me like they dont care about your service and your day-to-day busy life.

I'm hoping they get this sorted asap and maybe I might be more leniant with this review and rating.

You are not a customer.your simply a number. Business phone went down on a thursday.they said that they created a tocket and would have it resolved in 12 hours. That time went by and nobody arrived, then they said by monday between 12: 30 and 2: 30 it would be resolved. I called from my cell phone and they said someone will be there be by 5pm we are the last stop! We waited around until 7: 30pm nobody showed up and when we finally got through on the phone they said the ticket was cancelled. We are on day six we still have no phone, and we were told they would be here between 8am and 4pm. Let's hope they mean it this time

Derek is a gem! Highly knowledgeable, super friendly, and very professional, knows his stuff! Go to him for all your info regarding phones, plans, etc. Mike in the TV department is also excellent! Highly recommend! Great job guys!

Needed help getting fibre service to a new address. Balwinder did what others could not. Said she would look into it. Circled back with me the next day and confirmed an install date just 4 days from today. Done! Great service Balwinder! Derek the manager of the store: another great service provider!

Shut my phone down 3 times this week and charged me everytime to. Hidden fees I've had this phone for a month and I've paid 300 dollars this month with a fifth dollar monthly bill.

The most knowledgeable employee in the Mobility industry when it comes to the complicated world of ever changing mobility phones and phone plans. Derek Chisholm at Scotia Square.he used to be at the Maritime Centre. He has been helping me out for years, and there's not a better person that can point you in the right direction, give you the best advice, and get you the most value. He just helped me upgrade two phones and plans, love this guy!

Great location, quite a lot of phone options available (better than most other Bell locations around Halifax) and staff is quite friendly and professional
