Best Western Plus Bridgewater Hotel & Convention Centre

Restaurant serves very good food. Very helpful staff. Electric car Chargers in working order. A little noisy from the hall. Comfortable, well kept and clean

Unfortunately my cars tires got slashed in the parking lot during my stay. Not an ideal result of staying here.

During a terrible snowstorm we needed sanctuary and Bridgewater Best Western provided it, on a winters night our drive from metro back home to Yarmouth was stopped by the worst storm of the year, as always we were treated fairly, friendly staff and special mention for Imogene on reception who found us a room, great price and efficient service. Oh and the included breakfast was awesome

We stayed at the best western hotel Bridgewater recently. I'd like to tell you about our experience.
When we arrived, it was earlier then our check in time. Due to the weather that day, it was storming.
The front desk staff was very accommodating and allowed us early entrance to our room.we were in room 127, it faced the rear of the hotel on the main floor.
As we entered our room, we were impressed by the site and smell of a nice clean room. Or room was a king whirlpool.we had all the amenities that were promised.there was even Epsom salts provided to use in the whirlpool tub.the tub is big enough for two however more comfortable with just one person.lots of towels were provided.we decided once settled in our room that we would take a look around.we decided to look at the pool and fitness center.the pool was empty at that time.as well as the fitness center.we then went to the restaurant and preordered our meal.for 5: 30, then returned to our room.for a few hours to watch tv. I enjoyed my first dip in the tub before supper.it was refreshing. I was in for about 15 min.after that I went to go and pick up our meal and returned to our room. I had the beef tips and rice and my fiancee had pot roast both meals were excellent and tasty.
After supper we sat back and enjoyed some snacks we brought with us and took in some tv.then my fiancee had a whirlpool bath.followed by a shower while he was showering I set out to have another bath.followed by my shower.any left overs from supper and our beverages went into the mini fridge for later. I asked the front dest for creamer, extra sugar and two more coffee pods.as what was provide wasn't enough.here I would suggest bringing your regular supply from home.the mini kerige was provided.we had a great night's sleep in our comfortable very clean bed.crispy white linen.the temperature of the room was comfortable and easy to set thermostat. I called the front desk for a 7am wake up call and at exactly 7 am they rang us up.we couldn't miss out on our complimentary breakfast.
We headed to the restaurant with sleep eyes and enjoyed some scrambled eggs, ham and pancakes. That was the special that morning. There was lots there you could get pretty much what you wanted.cereal, toast, bagels, muffins, fruit, tea, coffee, and juice.you could even go back for a second plate. We then headed back to our room and enjoyed the rest of the morning and got ready for check out time.over all our stay was excellent.we had a great night and a wonderful stay.we hope to enjoy another night sometime.for those of you traveling this hotel is a great place to stay. Close to the #103 highway and lots of restaurant choices a walking distance nearby.with Boston pizza and Swiss chalet and on the cheaper side Harveys, and Mc Donald's at the nearby Walmart.a Canadian Tire store and gas bar close as Well As a dollar store for things you may need. I do however suggest 27 south the hotel restaurant for convenience. I hope you enjoyed my contribution and will consider this hotel in the future, you will be happy you did.

I came for a day conference, never spent the night.
Conference riim was bright and airy, set to our needs.
However, there was a full length green bean on the floor from a previous event and the water for tea was not hot enough. May i suggest prewarming the urns before putting the hot water in? (An old trick from my hospitality days)

Not a good place to stay as it appears. In their 27th South restaurant, they sprayed some medicine out of jealousy or racism on my dinner that burned my whole abdomen. I also felt the environment of harassment.

Pre check-in asked what time you'd be arriving. Selected before noon but at no point were we contacted to say there would not be a room available until 1pm. Internet was spotty at best in guest rooms. Rooms were typical. Make a reservation at suppertime if you expect to eat in the restaurant (at least Thurs through Sat) was here for both business and leisure. Be careful on the pool deck - very slippery tiles.

We didn't stay, but went to their conference room for a staff Christmas party. The food was terrible. They had a garden salad at the beginning of the table. If you are going to offer a salad, offer more than one kind. Perhaps a Caesar and a pasta salad for other options in case others don't like that one and only salad. Next were the to pots of seafood chowder. OK, I have an allergy to seafood, so I passed by that. Still nothing on my plate. Next was some kind of salmon with a sauce. Sorry, but that was a hard pass. Still nothing on my plate. Next was a dish with frozen mixed veggies with broccoli, carrots with mini red and white potatoes. Most of the potatoes were gone, so I got two red potatoes and a few veggies, (as I thought I better put something on my plate as I was almost to the end). Next was poultry breasts stuffed with dressing in some sort of gravy. That was not prepared from fresh. I was happy to get a roll and maple butter on the side. That was the star on my plate! We went up for dessert, only to find a lot of frozen apples pies that were not even brought to room temperature. We had frigid, tasteless pie, with terrible pastry. We managed to find cheesecake which was also not prepared from fresh. Our coffee was borderline being burnt. The worst meal I have ever had. I think all of the food as prepared from frozen, NOT FRESH!

Great place, friendly staff. The internet however is really poor so I could barely work - 20mbps up and down maximum, not good enough for work or multiple people streaming tv or movies.

We have stayed a number of times now and everything was great. That is why we always stay there when we are in the area. This last time was the same except for the in room coffee. We can't recall the name of it at the moment because we had never heard of or seen the brand before. All we can say is it was absolutely awful! Could not stand the smell of it let alone drink it. Very disappointing unfortunately.

Clean and quiet. Central location for touring the south shore of Nova Scotia. Great food in the on-site restaurant with friendly staff; gets busy so even hotel guests need to make reservations. Nice breakfast included.

Excellent experience. Very nice rooms, comfortable beds, great sheets/pillows, friendly and helpful staff. We really enjoyed the breakfasts and our stroll along the path at the back of the hotel. The restaurant, 67 Studio, rivaled all the best restaurants we visited on our East Coast trip! We didn't have time to try the pool bug it looked pretty great!
