A little R and R after a long work day. The views are amazing and the beer selection really nice. Staff friendly…thanks for the tasters before ordering. You guys have it figured out.

Great place to stop for drinks with a welcoming atmosphere. Staff are super friendly and most of the samples we had were delicious. The smash burgers are killer.

Third time visiting this beautiful and perfectly positioned stop to/from Cape Breton. They have done a great job decorating the facility and grounds with both indoor and outdoor, daytime and night time fire pit areas. Lots of great beer choices and looks like good food too. Nice that they have a large property and welcome RVs easily too, but if going east, the first turn going up to the property is sharp.

We had a great afternoon! This being hubby’s favourite beer, we stopped in to check out the brewery during a day trip to Cape Breton. While we didn’t get to try the smash burgers, the ladies told us of this lovely deli (Herring Choker). We were able to pre order sandwiches, pick up and bring them back to eat with our beer! We had a fantastic time absorbing the views, walking the yard, and chatting with the staff and owners and drinking some great beer! Thanks!

Great beer, friendly staff, awesome outdoor space! What more could you ask for? !? ! Also, dogs are welcome throughout the spaces! Definitely worth a stop to enjoy a flight or a few pints!

Beers available that they don't sell anywhere else. Good seating area but gets very busy in summer. Great place to stop off for a break along the way.

Update: more seating and a dedicated sales building and a food truck. Still a great place to stop off at.

Excellent spot, lovely outdoor area with a view. The beers were delicious! Also the smashed bruger was smashing, as were the fries & garlic aioli, but be aware, the portions are big

Beautiful views, great beer. The food truck has amazing food, and the staff are all so friendly. This is a must not miss stop when you are in Cape Breton.

Tried three different types of their beers and they were all great. Smash burger and donuts were amazing and the owner seems like a great guy. Beautiful grounds that would be an amazing place to spend a few hours in warmer temperatures.

Big Spruce Brewing has a food truck there Wednesday through Sunday in summer; other days, bring your own food and visit to enjoy delicious beer and cider. Picnic tables, beautiful views.
