Perhaps the only cellar where you can get Kingfisher beer. You'll find many other brands of alcohol at this place. The staff is friendly and would check your id card before letting you in. Has got a decent parking outside the store. Would recommend visiting.

I was looking for wine from a particular region in France as a gift. The staff member immediately provided a bottle just under my price range and enthusiastically and knowledgeably described and recommended it to me.

The recipients of the wine were thrilled.

This is where you can buy alcohol late when NSLC is closed. There are not many kinds of beer. If you don't have a place to buy alcohol late, I recommend this place.

Fantastic service. I changed our delivery address at the eleventh hour but they still delivered our order to the changed address within a day of ordering. It feels good to support Local!

Horrible customer service.
They told me something was in stock when I called. Then after I drive all the way there they say it’s out of stock the computer had a glitch. No sorry for the inconvenience or anything just a bad attitude. Will never shop there again.

I have been to this location several times, each in an effort to support a local business over publicly owned liquor stores. The selection is great and I love the variety. However, the customer service I have had each time is not only poor, but has made me feel so unconcomfortable that I won't return. Each time I have asked a question about a product, or where I can find something, I've been met with hostility, annoyance, and an almost "better than" attitude.

At least they sell magnum unlike the NSLC, definitely better to buy your wine there than the NSLC.

Surprisingly good prices for the great location and high-quality feel of the place. Selection restricted a bit by the size of the store, so they don't mess around all that much with what's easy to find at your local NSLC; keep that in mind as a plan B if you can't find what you're looking for.

For anyone who's struggling to find bike parking on Lower Water like I was, try near the waterfront past the parking lot - should be 4 spots there.

Keegan at Bishops Cellar was just awesome! Great service and with a smile - so friendly! He pointed out one of my favourite breweries (Bellwoods), and some new beers that they had in that I hadn't tried. You should give this guy a raise! Can't wait to get these home and crack into them! Bishop's does indeed have a really nice and unique selection of interesting wines. I would have liked to browse longer than I did. However the atmosphere seemed pretentious and the staff were unfriendly. Just not a great experience.

Excellent wine selection and knowledgeable staff. The Friday evening wine tastings are a great way to try new wines and learn.

The staff are knowledgeable and the selection has a different variety than the NSLC stores. Worth popping by.
