Flowers were supposed to be delivered to the Victoria general hospital on a Saturday, I ordered them on the Friday.
Fast forward to Saturday when my relative is in recovery from a surgery and no flowers have been delivered. Waited until Sunday and still no flowers, my family member checking out and going home that day.

When I called Monday morning Bloomex advised that they hadn't been able to deliver them due to an error on the hospital address. This was a bit annoying since because the customer service representative I spoke with when I ordered the flowers assured me that she knew exactly which hospital I was talking about and put the address in on my behalf.
I advised then and there that I would like to cancel my order as I was going to attempt to go through another service and have the flowers delivered to my relatives home. Bloomex advised me that they could deliver the flowers to my relatives home the next day which would be Tuesday. I decided to give them another chance which was my mistake.

Today is Thursday, 6 days after ordering the flowers originally and still nothing.

I spoke with the same customer service representative today and explained the situation and asked for my money to be refunded. She said that the flowers weren't able to be delivered for the past few days due to weather and when I asked her if she could tell me why the initial delivery wasn't made, she claimed to not know. When I told her that it was because the address was entered incorrectly she then tried to place blame on me saying that the original delivery wasn't made because I had entered the address incorrectly, either they're not realizing or playing stupid to the fact that I had called the order in by phone.

I wish they had not tried to talk me into attempting a second delivery and let me cancel my order then as I still would have had time to make an order through another provider.

Save yourself a headache and go with a different provider. If you want to have your meaningful gesture delivered in a time frame that actually makes sense.

Bloomex failed to I form me they don't deliver in my area so they sent my order to a higher priced florist (they stated it was higher priced) so I did not recieve what I ordered, instead I got a dozen carnations and a few roses for 130. I paid for in time delivery, which did not happen. I could have gotten what they sent from Zehrs for 35 bucks. Customer service was horrible (I have all emIls) where they only offer a credit but still confirmed they do not deliver in my area. I paid extra for premium packaging and got clear cellophane. Absolutely worst customer service and experience I've ever had.

Horrible service! I placed 3 orders for Christmas and they messed up ALL 3. One wasn't delivered at all (I was assured on the 24th that it was in fact delivered) One poinsettia and fruit basket I'd ordered arrived WITHOUT the poinsettia and the 3rd order was a Wine, Fruit & Cheese basket (newest line of LUXURY GIFT BOXES) was sent to 3 different addresses before getting to the right place. Wasn't Brie, it was camembert cheese, wasn't Italian or French wine.it was from Ontario. Included 1 apple, 1 orange and a mango arrived in a wire basket.
This is horribly embarrassing!
Never again!

I've been ordering from Bloomex for years and have never had any issues with delivery. The website is easy to use and allows for a variety of delivery options. The flowers are not always exactly as they appear in the photos, but they are still very beautiful. My family and friends have all said wonderful things when they receive the flowers (and it's the thought that counts!). If photo accuracy is important to you, you may be slightly disappointed.

Very disappointed. The flowers delivered were nothing like the plentiful bouquet advertised considering the price I paid. Wish I could add picture to show the difference. What a joke. Oh- and the Lilly stems were all cracked.

Ordered a beautiful planter basket for mothers day as I have covid and can not go to a store to purchase flowers as I normaly would.

Delivery was set for Saturday May 7th. Great.

Saturday comes and goes with no delivery. I try chatting in to their 24 hr live chat function and speak with a bot named jon at 730pm. Jon informs me that orders are delivered between 9am and 8pm. I ask if that means it will arrive in the next 30 mins. I am told to wait while they look into it and the chat disconnects. Fine. I will wait.

Its midnight so i decide to chat again because the flowers had not yet arrived. Again Jon tells me to wait while they look into it. Again the chat is disconnected.

I call in. I speak to someone who finally tells me that they are very busy and there was a delay but the flowers will arrive Sunday. I was thrown off as most businesses who conduct business online know how to arrange for customers to receive email notifications of delays but fine.

Sunday comes and the order finally arrives. But instead of the planter that I ordered i see that my mother has received a tiny cheap basket of chocolates. She is diabetic. If she wanted sweets i would have ordered sweets. I can understand that sometimes they run out of things but i cant believe that they ran out of flowers? How are chocolates a suitable substitute for a Planter basket? ! Imagine ordreing flowers for your wedding here? A bouquet of broken chocolate waffers?

I reached out by phone having lost all faith in Jon. I was told they can not do a refund and it must go through a manager. There is no information given on how to go about this. So i ask how to speak to a manager. I am promised that i will get a call "today or tomorrow" and hung up on.

Well the call has yet to come. But i did get an email advising that they see no issue with the difference between what i ordered and what i received. The kicker is seconds before this email i get one advising that due to supply issues my order has been swapped with something similar. Similar in what way?

I am told they will give me store credit. In the event that I ever want to take a gamble on this whole Horrible experience again.

One of the worst companies I have come across in years.

Beware.

UPDATE.as you see they reached out to "make it right" by offering a credit for 1/4 of what i paid. Assuming i am willing to order from them again and receive whatever random thing they decide to send.

I would give this company 0 stars if it were possible. Placed order well in advance to be delivered on a certain date. Order didn't arrive until days later, despite paying extra for delivery to ensure it was there on time. When order did arrive flowers were all wilted and mostly past their best. Again, I paid extra to make the arrangment of flowers larger, however what arrived looked something akin to what you would pick up at a gas station and none of the flowers pictured where in the final delivered arrangement. Most of the fruit in the fruit basket were inedible. I contacted the company several times and they refused to refund, however said they would resend another fresh order, this never happened. Lessoned learned.always order from a local company instead of this company.

Bloomex provided a beautiful bouquet as ordered and scheduled. My recipient was thrilled (as was I). My only complaint is that it is impossible to fix a typo without cancelling and reordering. Otherwise I was 100% satisfied, especially with the Earth- and farmer-friendly policies, and will be using Bloomex again.

I really like this company! The pricing is very reasonable for the quality of product you receive. You can also see who the flower farmer is and where they are located. I sent these to my sister on her birthday. They were delivered in a timely manner and the flowers lasted for well over a week. I will definitely be ordering more flowers from here in the future.

I have had several Bloomex flowers and the last order was perfect. The flowers were fresh and they arrived in good condition. I have had other bouquets arrive that were not so good. I feel they just need to work on their consistency to provide a good product all the time, especially when you pay a premium price to increase the number of stems to create a more boutiful bouquet.

Hi I have been ordering from Bloomex for a couple years and have never had a problem with my order. This year the order for Mother’s Day was a different story. The wrong flowers were send to my mother twice. With about ten emails, two orders of flowers sent. The company finally decided to give me a refund. This company is usually good with their orders. This was one isolated case where my order of flowers were not correct. My advice to the Bloomex company is to check their website to make sure it lines up with what your customers are seeing because there was obviously a mixup with the photos of the flowers and they did not catch the mistake until I resent photos of what was sent to my mother, so they need to check into that for sure, so they won’t have that problem for the next customer. I’m happy to say that they did follow through with correcting the error at the end with a live person named Daryl B.thank you Daryl for taking the time to resolve the matter at hand.

Awful. I discourage anyone from using this company. I understand that flowers are perishable and substitutions must sometimes be made, but the bouquet I sent my mother for Mother's Day had visibly expired flowers. I immediately sent photos to the company and was given a run-around about details and then told I had waited too long to contact them. 12 hours when I'm 4000 km away is too long? ! Horrific customer service. I will never use this company again and suggest you don't either. I wish there was a zero star option.

I have had two terrible experiences with this company and they have never been resolved. One delivery was made in Halifax and one was made in Newfoundland. In both situations the flowers sent to the recipients were not the bouquets that I ordered. They weren't even close to what I ordered. I made several attempts to contact Bloomex via email phone and their live chat to resolve these situations and was unable to get any action. I could hardly get a response at all. It is very disappointing for friends and family to send a photo of the bouquet you sent only to find that it is not what you paid for and the company will not stand behind its product. I will not be ordering from here again which is a shame because it is a convenient service.

I would not recommend this company. I should have read reviews more before I ordred. They make you pay for delivery and spesfiy the date of delivery. My order was delivered one day late and missed my friend's birthday. I paid extra fees to add a vase and a card. The vase was never included for the delivery. I ordered multi colour roses but it wasn't really multi colours at all. Customer service chat online is computer and useless. Over the telephone, it would ask you to leave a message. No way to communicate properly. Don't go with this company!

I ordered a bouquet for Mother's Day, and chose Sunday 10 May as a delivery date (which cost $19.99). Bouqet + delivery + taxes came to $70. On Saturday, I received an email from Fedex informing me that the flowers were coming from Quebec (I live in Halifax), and that they would not arrive on Mother's Day as expected. Quebec? When they arrived, the quality and freshness of the flowers were highly suspect. I contacted Bloomex customer service, not to get anything from them, but to simply let them know their service is a day late and a dollar short.

In sum gentlemen, when purchasing flowers for that special woman in your life, I recommend you don't use this service. If you've left it to the last minute, go to Superstore.their arrangements are on par (if not a touch better) than Bloomex, and they'll cost you MARKEDLY less. Unless you don't like money and enjoy disappointment.then by all means, use Bloomex

I never write reviews but I'm so disappointed about my order from Bloomex. I ordered two deluxe rose arrangements to be delivered the day before Mother's Day (to ensure that they would arrive in time). Not only did they deliver the order over 48 hours late, the flowers were also wilted, and I'm missing one of the bouquets completely! They only sent 1/2 flowers and the one I sent isn't event the right one? My order was $104.50 and everything was completely wrong! I hope I get my refund. Save yourself the trouble and order your flowers from elsewhere. Bloomex is a scam.

I ordered the Deluxe Super Snapdragons, plus a heart-shaped balloon, to be delivered to my mother on Mother's Day.

I paid extra to have the flowers and balloon delivered on Mothers Day Sunday. However, the balloon was delivered on the Thursday before, all by itself. Instead of the heart-shaped balloon I ordered, a purple happy face balloon was delivered. The next day (Friday), the flowers were delivered. Not only were they the wrong flowers (an assortment of irises, daisies, stalk of fern, and some wilted purple snapdragons), but there was no card greeting included either.

I contacted Bloomex and they were not helpful at all. First, they gave me "care instructions" after I mentioned the flowers arrived wilted. They said no refund is possible, but that they could re-send the proper flowers and balloon. I have e-mailed twice since then, and of course, no response, no flowers, nothing.

Bloomex, I gave you the benefit of the doubt, and ample opportunity to make this right, because I realize mistakes can happen. We are after all, all human. However, your customer service is quite terrible and I'm so very disappointed that this was a complete fail.

I almost never see mother as we do not live in the same province. I wanted to surprise her with a beautiful package, which completely backfired with no offer of rectification. So very unfortunate.

I ordered flowers for my Mother for Mother’s Day well in advance. The order shipped OVER a week ago and my Mother STILL DOES NOT HAVE HER FLOWERS! It is now nearly a week after Mother’s Day. Customer service is TERRIBLE! As another reviewer said you can never get through to a representative, they have never returned my emails or calls and the online chat was completely useless! Awful!

I have used Bloomex in Ottawa to send flowers to family and friends and have always gotten 5 star reviews. For my daughter's birthday in early May, I ordered flowers from Dartmouth and was both embarrassed and disappointed when I saw them. They were brown and droopy. I sent pictures taken just after delivery and the customer service was non existent - I got nothing but an auto reply saying that they got my email. This was during COVID, so perhaps there were supply problems. I would not have ordered if I thought I would get poor quality. If Bloomex can't deliver what they promise, they should not deliver at all.

DO NOT ORDER FLOWERS FROM HERE COMPLETE RIP OFF!
(Second email sent on Sunday evening) These were delivered ‪Friday afternoon‬. And they didn’t even last a full 3 days until Mother’s Day was over? ! Not only did “stock issues” mess up my arrangement style I had purchased, but they didn’t even stay presentable for 2 days. I am furious after having my first complaint dismissed by your company due to problems of none of my own that should of been posted On your home page stating covid 19 is causing stock issues!  And now I’ve had to throw out wilted flowers after only having them for 2 days? ! I am officially requesting a refund. This is disgraceful for your bussiness!  I hope to hear back with a response soon!

(First email sent Friday afternoon) I Order the enchanted cottage in supersize it looks nothing like the picture and considering I upgraded to supersize I’d assume it would be as extravagant or provide the wow factor as described. I am throughly disappointed considering without shipping or taxes the bouquet was $50 and looks as if I purchased it from the local grocery store. There is a picture for refrence. I’ve read the policy and understand that if flowers are not available they will be substituted with a flower of similar value but this is ridiculous. I will be sharing my experience or review as per requested where relevant because this is just unacceptable. Consumers need to be ware when sending flowers to friends and loved ones. I decided not to shop local this year because I’m extremely busy and it was the biggest mistake.

Horrible experience trying to get flowers. I ordered online and they shipped them from Quebec instead of shipping them from the local store here in Halifax. It has been 3 days since they were suppose to be delivered and they still aren't out for delivery. I have been trying to cancel the order and get my money back, I have sent multiple emails with no response, I have made several calls and no one answers the phone. Do yourselves a favour and order from a local florist.

For Mothers Day my family from Minnisota.the U. S.ordered me a bouquet of flowers and payed extra to have it delivered the Saturday before Sunday May 10 2020. I live in New Minas, Nova Scotia, so the order was sent through to the Dartmouth N. S.flower shop, the arrangement arrived the day after Mothers day on Monday even though my daughter had payed the extra fee for the Sat.delivery.when i received it the flowers were brown, the leaves dry with some of the flower heads laying and rolling around the box and to add insult to the mess i received, four of the stems where broken, i let my daughter know because for the mess they sent me and the over payment for not receiving it on the date that was agreed upon i felt a full rebate was owed to her from Bloomex. Well they gave her the run around and she received nothing of her hard earned money back and i ended up with a mess of dead and broken flowers i had to throw away. THIS IS A WARNING THIS FLOWER SHOP IS A GIANT RIP OFF SO PLEASE DON"T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY WITH BLOOMEX WHERE EVER YOU MAY LIVE. Terrible quality bouquets. They deliver on time but they do not at all care for what they promise to deliver, almost none of the flowers matched what they had in the description and it was so poorly constructed I am actually ashamed I sent them. If you must use this service as it is very convenient I suggest perhaps stick to red roses, you cannot mess those up.

I ordered flowers for a funeral through Bloomex.ca and not in a million years would I recommend this flower company for anything, ever. We ordered the family flower arrangement for our loved one's funeral from Bloomex. We had a lot on our plates with the funeral arrangements and figured it would be easiest to order an upgraded, deluxe arrangement online and have it delivered directly to the funeral home the day of the visitation to take one thing off of our plates. When it was 4pm and I still hadn't received confirmation of their guaranteed delivery by 5pm, I reached out via their live chat. Via chat, their customer service representative named Garry was rude and incredibly unhelpful, responding with "got your point" when I mentioned that the flower order was for a funeral. Eventually he said he was checking on the order and then never came back or responded. I called in to get more information on where the flowers were, and their staff on the phone were equally unpleasant. They had said they'd check with the courier and email me an update - when I asked for a phone call instead of an email due to the fact that the funeral was in an hour, I was told that they send emails instead of calls and "maybe they will call" (without even actually taking my phone number). I received an email later saying that my order wouldn't be delivered and they'd like to send a bouquet to the family's address since they didn't arrive in time for the funeral. The problem is that we ARE the family, we don't want flowers AFTER the funeral, and now our loved one didn't have a family bouquet because of this company. I called after the funeral and was given the same run around. I asked for a refund, was told that the person I was speaking to was not qualified to offer a refund, that it would be taken up with higher management, and that MAYBE they could offer me a refund based on their investigation. MAYBE I could get a refund for flowers that never arrived. I asked to have the higher management CALL ME instead of email, and was told once again that they usually email about couldn't guarantee that someone would call. And also couldn't guarantee a refund. Absolutely TERRIBLE customer service, the WORST way to handle the situation, and completely unacceptable to only be able to hear from anyone via email. A terrible, stressful experience on top of the stress of losing our loved one. Pick ANY other company than Bloomex.

I liked the prices, the flowers and even a balloon! I will be back to send more flowers! Thank you:) UPDATE: The balloon deflated soon after it was delivered and on advising them I heard nothing back!

Always 5 star service. I order the flowers via online, due to reason I live in Italy. I normally send the flowers to my mom, who lives in Halifax, NS. She is always impressed with the quality of the flowers.
