We've really been enjoying our frequent visits to this restaurant. The service is always super friendly and the food is delicious!

Arguably the best Thai food in the West Bedford area. Well placed in Peakview way campus, left to Sobeys. Very good ambiance. Staff is very welcoming, quick service. Food is also good. Enough parking space available.

Great friendly service and the food was good. Satay skewers were delicious and the spicy noodles were tasty. We had a little bit of a wait, but we weren't in a rush so all good. The only thing that let's this place down is the fold up table running down the middle of the restaurant where they put the take out orders.

The dining room is clean and has a nice atmosphere. The food is delicious and very authentic. The service is also very good! I will come again next time!

They serve the best Thai cuisine in Halifax. The red curry, Pad-gaprow and Thai ice tea is my favorite. Especially on summer time Thai ice tea will be best choice 10/10 WOULD recommend.

We went to Blue Elephant for lunch, and it’s one of the best Thai food in town.

I have been to almost all the Thai places in town, and by far, the best experience in terms of food, ambience and hospitality - Blue Elephant.

If you struggle to choose as all options excite you, SALLY will jump in to help. She is the nicest to the core and one person who does everything - Taking orders, delivering the food, billing and cleaning. Uff - hats off to you!

Since we went on a weekday, their inventory for drinks where missing a few to try cocktails, but it’s understandable.

Overall - if you like Thai, you must try Blue Elephant at least once before you stick with your regular Thai place.

This location is within a plaza. Not hard to find. The staff person went out of their way to assist us with getting a high chair set up and seating organized for the 8 of us. The food was all excellent and nicely presented.

Ordered take out. Food was mostly tasty, well spiced and hot. The spring rolls were bland though. The satay peanut sauce was also a little flat and not much in the way of peanuts. The ginger beer was delicious and the green curry was nice and spicy! It was however a little expensive so I wouldn't make it a regular practice to order from them.

I don’t understand why this place is rated so high. The noodles were mushy and so sweet. They were out of stock on menu items and the quality of meat was questionable.

Perfectly satisfying tastes and serving sizes (other places would charge much more than the $15 here for spectacular entrees) with consummate attentive servers.this place is incredible!

Our special days mostly are with Blue elephant, which for sure would satisfy our taste buds

We LOVE it here! The food has been consistent and delicious each time. The lunch specials are generous, served on beautiful platters - great value. Sally, is amazing. She does it all, great customer service and acumen. It is a busy place for a reason - it’s quality! I wish people were more patient

This is my go-to restaurant for Thai from now on! Amazing food, really good service. So much so that you feel obliged (in a good way) to tip them.

Good food but poor customer service, asked if I would hold and then never got back after 5 minutes. Tried calling back but they just had the phone sitting g on the counter, basically off the hook, I know this because I listened to dishes for 5 minutes.

By far the best Thai in Halifax! Food is fresh, clean delicious and made to perfection.

Best Thai food ever. We recently moved away from Halifax and I miss their Pad Thai so much. It’s the best I’ve ever had.

Great spot that has become our go to for local Tai dishes. We usually do pickup, but the restaurant is small but quite nice. Great staff and no bad experiences in 20 plus visits.

Consistently delicious! The Cashew Chicken is our absolute favourite. Dining in isn’t anything special in respect to the atmosphere but the service is friendly and quick. They do a substantial takeout business which can disrupt the attention from staff. We go back again and again.

Had dinner here again with friends this time. Quality and Taste was always consistent. Red curry is the best dish for me. One of the best Thai Restaurants in Nova Scotia. Price was reasonable for 3 adults and 2 teenagers. Everyone was full and satisfied after our meal. Don't miss out. Try Blue Elephant today.

Got the calamari and mango salad to start my meal Both were amazing I finished my meal with pad Thai with chicken this was just a delight. Staff was very friendly and courteous definitely going to be a place I go back to often

They don't pick up the phone. Used to be good when they were first open but now poor customer service.

They only have take-out at this time, but the young lady taking orders and greating us at the restaurant has been very friendly, polite and professional. I have followed the advice of other reviewers and so far have tried the Pad Thai with chicken, Roasted Cashew nuts with Chicken, Ginger Beef and Jasmine rice. Is was all very good. The food is very good and we are looking forward to trying something new next week.

I LOVE this restaurant. The service and food are excellent, as is their lunch special. I order their Pad Thai once a week! YUM! I definitely recommend this restaurant!

Delicious food, good presentation and okay service. We tried the Tom Yum Fried rice with Prawn and Pad Prik Gaeng with seafood and they both were good. Prawns were the main seafood though, I didn't enjoy the mussels or calamari in noodles. The spice level was okay. The quantity was more than enough for two. I would visit again to try more items.

Wouldn’t recommend, the food was alright but had a piece of metal shavings in my noodle. And still had to pay for the half plate of unfinished food with metal shavings in it.

My friend and I were looking for a Thai restaurant to meet for lunch and I came across this one online. We were not disappointed. The food presentation was wonderful and it tasted even better. Nice quaint dining area with all Covid protocols in place. Hand sanitizer and sign in sheet right at the door and every other table blocked off for distance. I would highly recommend the chicken pad thai. My friend had the cashew chicken and she said it was delicas well.

Massaman curry was delish! And enough for a smaller portion for lunch the next day! Lovely service and the cutest elephant tea pot for my tea!

Ordered takeout. Food was delicious and everything was well packaged. There are a few different Thai spots in the area. I would say this one is by far my favourite.

Great service, the food is possibly the best Thai I've had in the HRM. The tom yum fried rice is a must! This place is also able to make their items GF. Last but not least the servers are always beyond polite. We witnessed a lady at the store take a elderly customers order out to her car for her because the food was hot and she didn't want the customer to have to carry it on her own. So if the food wasn't enough to bring you back the service is.

I called in an order for pickup this evening and when I got home realized they gave me one item I ordered and the other was not. I got pan thai chicken which was okay, and ordered pan see u and got some sort of SOUP. NOT IMPRESSED!
Update: Good to know they read reviews as the manager reached out and has offered to make it right. Looking forward to giving them another try.

I have been told by a friend of colour that she made a reservation here, as required by them, and was refused entry when she arrived. What a horrible story to hear from a dear friend.
I don’t care about anything else you offer. Discrimination will sour any dish you serve up. You need to talk to your staff about discrimination and it’s ugliness and it’s repercussions. Never gettting my lucky dollars.

Blue Elephant is our go to restaurant whenever we want take out! They have some of the best Thai food we've ever tasted and great service to boot. The owners clearly care about their customers and take great pride in the cuisine they serve.

It saddens me to see some of the very negative reviews posted below. Our family has been coming to this restaurant for years and have never witnessed anything remotely negative with the food or staff while dining in or getting take out. They have always gone above and beyond
and we look forward to eating delicious Thai food for years to come!

Please do not support this business. My Aunt & Cousin were refused service even after having a reservation that was confirmed by phone 5 minutes before they arrived. When they did arrive, even though there were only two other people in the restaurant, they were told that they couldn't be served with no explanation as to why. Very shocking to see people of color discriminating against other people of color, but I will definitely not be supporting any business with discriminatory practices.

I took my boyfriend here because I was craving Thai and it was nearby. When arriving we were met with no greeting and staff were noticeably irritated for some reason unknown to us. We had to flag someone down to ask for a menu and once we asked to be seated they look at us like we had two heads. We were eventually seated only to receive slow service when there was barely any other customers. The food tasted like they served us someone’s reheated leftovers and when we asked if we could change our order and send what we received back the server scoffed at us and said they can pack it to take home. After asking three times we decided it wasn’t worth the energy and stress so we paid while leaving the food there and we will never return.

Best thai food experience I have ever had. Red curry is just simply Devine. The Mango salad is amazing. The pineapple fry rice is a must have.

Absolutely amazing food! What a great first impression. The ambience was perfect, food was very authentic + flavorful and the service was quick and friendly. I highly recommend and will certainly be back. I work in the hotel industry and will definitely be recommending this to travelers

The service was good but could have been better, waitress was alone also hosting a large group on the other side of the restaurant. (Small but cozy space). I had the chicken wings to start, nothing extravagant, save your money Or get something else. I had the spicy noodles, they were pact with flavor and a good portion. A bit sweet however I am sure I could have asked for more spicy to balance it out. I would definitely come back. Thank you

Really good food, nice blend of spices that cater to many palets. Food is served very quickly making it a great place for lunch during the workday.

The waiting staff were fantastic, and the food was incredible. My date said it was the first time she'd ever enjoyed a meal that much.

Probably the best Thai in town. Had Pad Tai, Red Curry and the roasted cashew something.top right on menue Sorry. Best Pad Thai for sure. The place was quite empty and the only thing I can think of was those crazy blue amazingly uncomfortable chairs! The bright blue made it quite stark and the chairs were just weird and angled straight up. Throw those chairs out as soon as possible and not that bright blue. Again.the food and service was best in town. Eat Here but sit on the benches

It was so good I went back during a short 4 day trip to NS. We vegetarian options each time. Their fritters are amazing, as is their pad thai. We also had the green and red curry and were not dissapointed

Table for two. We ordered fresh spring rolls to start and they were very good. We both ordered the Pad Thai for mains. We were both very disappointed. I ate most of mine, even though it was sickeningly sweet. I didn't complain, because I am hopelessly Canadian and it has to be dangerously under cooked or aggressively bad for me to tell someone I don't like their food. My wife barely touched hers and when the waitress asked her if she wanted it packed up to go, my wife said no. She also advised her it was too sweet and starchy. The waitress said "Oh Sorry" and took the food away. She dropped off the bill a moment later and had charged my wife for the food she hadn't eaten. Not ones to make a fuss, we paid the bill and just decided we would not return. My wife and I both love Thai food and have visited Thailand many times. We know good Thai food. This wasn't it. Again, I am only speaking of the Pad Thai as I haven't been back. It may have been an off day for them. Also my auto-correct is changing Phad to Pad.

Excellent food and huge portions. Loved the taste and freshness. We tried multiple dishes and all of them had their unique and distinct flavours. I am definitely coming back here. Recommended!

Easily the best thai restaurant in the city! My wife and I go here all the time and we are vegetarians. I would highly recommend the Massman curry! The customer service is particularly good and so is the ambience.

Very tasty! Blue Elephant differentiates itself from the other Thai restaurants in town by offering different dishes and flavours. I tried the Pad See Ew and the beef Pad Prik Gaeng, and both were flavourful and tender, with a nice level of spicyness. I especially loved the Chicken Balls, which are not your typical piece-of-chicken-in-batter-deepfried. Highly recommend!

Usually get my chicken pad Thai at cha baa Thai, but blue elephant was just as good or better and it saved me a bit of money as well!

I have had the pad thai over a dozen times and can attest that it will boost your crunk and swagger levels to the maximum potential of your human body bro

Yum! Yum! Yum! Great food with large portion. Knowledgable staff. Friendly service. I have never disappointed with this restaurant. Love to go back to try more dishes!
